Man, I love flying JetBlue. First and foremost, after the recent renovations to Terminal C at Logan, the check-in and security process is a thousand times more efficient. The staff has always been professional and courteous in helping make sure flyers get to where they need to go. When it comes to flying, there is plenty of legroom even without the "Even More Space" program, there is an in-flight entertainment system for every seat, and unlimited drinks and snacks in flight. How awesome is that? After flying JetBlue, I've dumped Delta as my favorite airline! If you fly a lot with JetBlue like I do, be sure to get the American Express card from them to rack up points (free flights start at 5,000 points). You can earn up to 8 points on the dollar and every swipe counts. read more

SD to Boston rdirect flight. Pros: -Landed 45 minutes early (normal for W to E though). -their normal seats are "extra space" seats on other airlines -40+ channels of live TV... For free -Dunkin donuts coffee... Game changer -affordable snack boxes -all employees I must say we're SOLID. From ticket agent to pilot.. No issues -not an obnoxious about of boarding groups -return flight was a carbon copy- consistently matters I'm a Southwest guy mostly but this was affordable and very very easy. I want to say first that I hate airlines. 90% of them that I used I've had a bad experience. That was, of course before I found Jetblue. Or JB found me. I don't know the exact moment I realized their existence but I'm glad I did! I noticed right off the bat that Jetblue was different from their competitors. I remember checking in for the first time and the guy behind the counter was super friendly, so much in fact that I became a little wary. Got to the terminal and the Jetblue crew was even MORE friendlier. What's going on? And what is this "free coffee and donuts" thing? Is it because my flight is cancelled and you're buttering me up? Nope, they do it, just cause. One of my favorite moments is when I booked the inaugural flight from BOS to PDX and they had a little "contest." I guessed right and won a Jetblue bag with goodies inside. I still bring that with me no matter where I fly. But what makes Jetblue superior is..wait for it..FREE STUFF. First, free snacks. What? You mean I'm not going to starve? Even when flying 45 minutes to NYC I get free snacks and coffee/soda/juice. And I don't have to feel douche if I want more than one! The second is FREE LUGGAGE. So simple, yet so efficient! I no longer have to be that awkward person trying to shove their clothes into a carry on! And my luggage comes with me, never had a problem with it. The third is the most important: FREE TV ON YOUR HEADSEATS. Seriously, this saves the flight from ending up being torturous. It makes my BOS/LAX BOS/PDX flights go smoothly. Just make sure to bring your headphones, or you can get them for $2 before/during your flight. I also love their TrueBlue system where you can gain points by flights and other means. In December I had enough points to book BOS-LAS which was a pleasant experience :) I know that people may have some bad experiences with Jetblue, and you know what, it happens, but with me they've helped solve my problems. One time a hurricane cancelled my flight, no worries they instantly credited my account and I was able to get home by bus (4 hours drive). Needless to say it was a stressful time and busy as heck, but the representative was super nice and friendly. One time I forgot my Ipod and Jetblue helped me search for it (it's still missing, it grinds my gears to think someone is enjoying Michael Mcdonald on my Ipod). People may complain about the prices (everything's going up people, go with the flow), unsavory representatives (they exist in every industry, just be polite and talk with a higher up), lost baggage, etc. But I've been in worse with another airline--stuck at the airport for 9+ hours because they decided to leave 2hrs early without telling anyone. I travel on business every other week on average, and JetBlue has been my airline for over two years. The one knock I had against them was that they did not really have a good frequent flyer program. That's just changed with JetBlue Mosaic, so I'm left with nothing but positive things to say here. Great, clean planes. A wonderful selection of inflight snacks. The extra leg room is completely worth it, but not requisite - the regualr seats are fine and plenty of room, generally. The terminal at Boston Logan is also one of the better I've seen, though not quite as good as their flagship Terminal 5 at JFK. Still, there are several options for food from the quick (Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks) to sit-down (Boston Beer Works, Jerry Remy's, Legal Seafood). Boston! Fly. Jet. Blue. read more

traveling with an infant is rough. There is so much you need to take with you while traveling. Since I was traveling with my son as a lap child most airlines only allowed 1 carry on for him and nothing else. With JetBlue I was able to bring an ext carry on for the baby, plus they checked my stroller and car seat for free at the gate. When I checked in and asked how full the flight was they actually blocked off the seat next to me so I'd be sure to be sitting alone. The flight attendants were so helpful and made sure I got on and off the plane without any problems. read more

I love the JFK to BOS flights! So efficient! Always on time! Always quick and easy! I would give it 5 stars but JetBlue left my luggage at JFK when I flew to Puerto Rico last year. And getting it back it was a huge pain. BUT -- I love the blue chips, channels and JFK terminal. Awesome! read more

I've always been happy with my flights from jetblue. its affordable, the snack selections are bomb diggity, and the individual TVs keep me entertained the entire flight. I also like that even though we were delayed about an hour, the captain hauled ass and got us to Boston in 4.5 hours. We were still on time even though we lagged like crazy. read more

This has consistently been one of the better airlines that we have traveled with. I liked that there was enough legroom on their coach seats and that there was working TVs for each seat. The purple potato chips are good too. On our flight from BOS to FLL, I was surprised to learn that there was free Wifi on their aircraft as they were beta testing it. Flight 1833: We were running late for our flight. I got to the gate at 7:44 am and they closed the gate early. There was another woman behind me they reopened the gate before but they refused to wait 10 seconds for my family down the hall to run to me. Lots of eye-rolling from Genevie the gate agent. Completely rude. We then went to the help desk and none of them cared about my situation they updated our ticket with a layover in New York. We then went back to the desk for a different question and learned one of my friend's tickets was wrong and she would have got stuck in NY. We go to board flight 1117 ticket to NY and now my ticket is wrong. Gate agent fixes it real quick no big deal. We get to New York and go to board flight 115 me and my friend ticket work but now my sister's ticket is wrong and they wouldn't fix it at the gate. The gate agent (not Shanee but the other agent working) started yelling at my sister telling her to go to the help desk. I told her this is unacceptable we're going to miss our flight. She told me we were a bunch of "crazy" "weirdos". She called her manager Riccardo over after he walked by me slowly looking me up and down, he talked to them first about what happened. I went up to Riccardo and told him our side of the story. I'm begging Riccardo to hold the flight he's telling me no. Meanwhile my sister is at the help desk crying because she was called names and was screamed at. It took 5 people to fix her ticket. Finally, someone got through to Riccardo, and he held the flight for us and we were able to board. This was a complete nightmare. Even though we got to our destination we we're abused by your staff and almost got stranded in NY because of the negligence of your gate agent teams in NY and Boston. read more

We were flying to Vegas for a day with my husband to get away . For us it's a relatively long flight around 4-5 hours . We flew their with another airline and JetBlue back. We got a package deal online ( not going to mention what airline took us there ) but it was horrible. Out of nightmare. Not even water was given to people. But on our flight back with JetBlue there were TVs , water for free and even a snack bar ! Service was fantastic. We did have to purchase the headphones but it was worth it. Our flight was amazing and fast. Leg room was also night and day. It over all was a great experience. We will defiantly fly JetBlue again ! read more

Simply the best flying experience out there. An airline that actually seems to care about its passengers. Great non-stop flights, tvs at every seat, free checked bag, free snacks and drinks. Really a nice way to fly. Plus I'm 6-4 so the fact that I can get some extra legroom for a few bucks more instead of being at the mercy of the ticket counter or those that have more frequent flyer miles. read more

In Boston, I love flying Jetblue from Terminal C , because it brings back old TWA memories (Whom I use to fly) and Jetblue preserved the title of Terminal C hosting the best airline!!! I joined Yelp so I could write a post about the ridiculous, incompetent, negligent customer service I had at the hands of JetBlue Airlines last weekend. On Friday, March 24, 2017, their flight from Detroit to Boston, Flight 1836, had mechanical issues while still on the ground and my departure was delayed seven times, then cancelled, after I had been at the gate for 11 1/2 hours. At that point, we were told we would be put on a special flight (on the same plane, the one with the mechanical issues), the next morning. I retreated to a motel, as it was too late, and I was too exhausted, to get another plane. During the night, at 4 a.m., the special flight was cancelled, but they informed me only by an email, to my sleeping computer. Had they called or texted, they could have told me there were seats remaining on that day's Flight 1836, which left at 6:15 a.m., with empty seats. Instead, I awoke at 5:30, already too late to make that flight, and saw the email. When I asked the customer service agent on the phone, what my options were, she told me I could fly from Detroit to Fort Lauderdale, then transfer to Boston, arriving at 3 p.m., or I could fly direct to Boston at 7:20 p.m., arriving at 9 p.m. Having already lost a day out of a planned week with my sick elderly dad, I told her both those options were unacceptable, particularly as they had already not texted or called me in time to catch their morning flight direct to Boston. I asked JetBlue to book me on another airline to Boston that morning, but the rep said no one had authority to do that, so I bought a one-way ticket on Delta, direct to Boston, for $368 of my own money. I have complained to the FAA about this, and also cc'd JetBlue, I await their answer. If they reimburse me for my Delta flight, I will be sure to post it here. All the JetBlue people were pleasant and nice, but their airline is shoddy, This is the second consecutive flight I have had on Jet Blue that didn't fly because of plane issues (the other one flew eventually, but too late to make my connection; again I had to book on another airline). I had never been on a plane in my entire life. One day I decided to be spontaneous and jump on a plane (alone) and go to DC, only an hour flight there, spend the day and then fly back. Round trip it cost me only $140, as opposed to the $200+ prices I saw from other airlines. I didn't know which airline was better so I just chose JetBlue since it was the cheapest. It was the best choice I could have made. So I get to the airport and I have literally no idea where to go. I had just printed both of my boarding passes and the airport is a big and confusing place. I find the JetBlue terminal, and, still confused, get in the checked baggage line (I had no luggage with me and had no idea what this line was for). I get to the counter and ask the friendly JetBlue employee what I am supposed to be doing, I've never been to the airport or even on a plane before. She takes the time to come out from behind the counter and walk me around to the security line, I thank her and continue on my way. I had no clue what to do in security, but as I heard to take my belt off I was certain I would end up walking through the security scanner without any pants. Very confusing. After putting my shoes back on and admiring the view of the planes taking off (I had never seen planes this close), I find the gate and take a seat to wait. It wasn't long before the attendants at the check-in desk greeted us and began the boarding process. Confused and excited, I had my pass scanned and boarded the plane, but not before being greeted by the cheery flight attendants. I take my seat at the window and excitedly await to take off. The attendants closed the door and began their safety review process. I hadn't seen any of this before so, of course, I'm the only one watching with excitement as everyone else is finishing up their texts and turning off their phones. The captain tells us we're ready to take off and he drives the plane to the runway. Taking off was the most amazing experience of my entire life, having rarely left Massachusetts in my life and then to see everything I had ever known right below my feet. Not to mention we flew through a cloud, wicked cool. During the flight there was no hesitation to offer us complimentary food and drinks, as well as collect the trash when we were finished. It was a very short flight that I spent the entirety of with my face plastered to the window. The captain told us we were landing and we arrive in Baltimore. Overall, flying JetBlue was an amazing experience with extremely helpful staff. I didn't know that complimentary snacks and drinks were a rare thing for airlines to do, so JetBlue was definitely the best choice I could have made without knowing a single thing about airlines. Flying domestically, I'm sticking with JetBlue from now on. read more

My flight my originally scheduled to leave from gate C33 at Boston Logan airport. I arrived to this gate around 6:50 PM and since on the screen there were signs stating a flight was closed and in taxi I went up to the counter where I was not at minimum greated by "Magalie". I was concerned I had missed my flight but at the same time was confused as my flight was scheduled to leave by 8pm and not 7pm. "Magalie" immediately told me the flight was fully on board, but then I explained to her I was leaving at 8pm, she said "it's delayed" (without even asking my flight number or further information) and at this moment her colleague arrived "Natalie" and she proceeded to have a full conversation with her and completely ignored me. I waited patientely while "Magalie" continued to speak with "Natalie" and ignore me, until I couldn't wait any longer as I was concerned about my flight and asked her if she had heard me asking her again "Is my flight delayed?", moment when she proceeded to loose her tempere with me, asked me with an angry tone of voice if I hadn't heard her the first time she told me that my flight is delayed, so then I asked, "are you able to tell me how much time it's delayed by?" and she said "yes it's delayed go and have a seat over there" as she pointed at the chairs at the gate. I told her she had horrible customer service and that there was no reason for her to be so absolutely rude with a customer (aside from unhelpful). I asked for her full name (which she refused to give me and turned her badge and covered it up so I could not see it) and told her I wanted to file a complaint, after she refused and although extremely upset and uneased I followed her recommendation and sat down, as I turned my back and walked towards the chairs she started screaming loudly how she had excellent reviews about her customer service and how it wasn't her fault I was having a bad day (which I had not had, up until that moment) After sitting down for a couple of minutes, she started leaving and yelled at me your flight actually left you behind and it was the one that left; I told her that didn't make sense as my flight was scheduled for 8pm and it was only around 7 pm. That's when her colleague "Natalie" asked me what my flight number was, so I stepped up to the counter again (as "Magalie" walked away), that's when "Natalie" told me the gate had changed to C30 and my flight was on time. I also asked for her name and she refused to do so, but she was helpful and nice. All of this stressful and unpleasent situation could've been avoided if since the moment I arrived at gate C33 "Magalie" would have not been disrespectful and had at least checked which flight I was actually on. This was an awful customer service experience! Once I arrived to gate C30 I spoke to the supervisor Calvin and explained to him the entire situation, he seemed understanding and caring, as well as apologized on behalf of Jetblue. I use Jetblue very often and Magaline's behaviour tonight does NOT reflect that of the excelent service JetBlue usually provides. read more

It has been quite a while since I've flown JetBlue simply because of the cost of flying but when I found tickets that were a very reasonable price to fly from Boston to Jacksonville I decided to fly JetBlue and I'm very happy that I did. The accommodations are very comfortable, have much more leg room and you get unlimited drinks and snacks but obviously within the selected menu. I enjoy having the screen on the back of the seat in front of me but I'm very disappointed in their siriusXM selections as they seem to focus more on artist rather than on genres of music. I would definitely fly JetBlue again simply because I am a bigger person and I felt that I could actually move around somewhat in my seat better than any other flight or airline that I have been on. read more

When I first told my friends I was flying JetBlue I was given a look of disgust, but I can't say I have ever had a better experience. The team at Boston is simply incredible! Our flight was scheduled for 8pm, but we arrived early in hopes of getting on an earlier flight home. When we checked in the team told us that all of the flights back to DC were about 2 hours late because of a fog condition in DC that had closed the runway at National for 2 hours that morning. So they moved us to the 6pm flight, which was now scheduled to take off at 8pm. They also warned us that there was no good food options once we got past security and recommended that we grab a bite before we went through the checkpoint. This was super useful knowledge, because there was in fact nothing I would have eaten in the terminal. When the plane arrived from DC, they quickly disembarked the passengers, cleaned it and brought it to our gate. Unfortunately, our cabin crew wasn't ready to fly yet, but rather than holding us up while the crew made their way to us, the crew from the last flight helped us board. It was wonderful. It minimized delays after what was already a delay. I can't wait to fly JetBlue again... Especially into Boston! read more

I really enjoyed my recent (and first) JetBlue experience. The seats were comfortable (yeah xtra leg room!), and I enjoyed watching the little plane on the televised map make it's way across the country as we did! I really dug knowing our speed and altitude as well...because, alas, I am a dork. I didn't even take advantage of the free TV, because I liked the map (and i was enjoying my book and looking out the window anyway) I really liked the way JetBlue handled our delay-- the weather in Boston was awful and our plane in Pittsburgh was on ground delay for 2.5 hrs...so the JetBlue staff made free snacks and drinks available for everyone waiting, which made things not seem so bad...not so much because I was hungry, but because I felt like they cared! Jet Blue is great, they have great routes and the planes are comfortable and reasonably clean....But they need to keep the a-holes from boarding the plane with steemer trunks and/or 4 bags. On a recent flight from Ft. Lauderdale a couple up front somehow managed to convince the crew that their bags didn't need to be checked....no kidding these bags were enormous and they ate up an entire bin each....which forced people to go aft for storage which meant that there were people who had no way to get to their bags as the plane emptied. In addition, the woman apparently thought it was her birthright to stand in the aisle for the ENTIRE boarding process. I was in the fourth row and let me tell you this woman and the man she was with should have been told to check their bags and then to sit the F$%^ down! Flight got delayed multiple times both to and from Boston. They kept delaying our flight when when we were boarded just because they couldn't get the WiFi on. Eventually was two and a half hours after our originally departure before we left. I am so exhausted. I haven't flown with them for a few years, but JetBlue sucks. read more

I hope that jet blue is paying attention to these comments from customers. I think that it is time for this airline and all others to have a policy about allowing obviously sick customers to board a plane. My friends and I were subjected to a little girl who was clearly ill coughing and sneezing through the entire two hour flight. You did not need to be a medical doctor to realize that this girl was likely to spread all of her respiratory droplets to every nearby passenger.She was not wearing a mask. Those of us in the row ahead of her all became ill shortly after we returned. I recognize the issues associated with requiring masks, but in certain certain circumstances, the failure to require a mask on a sick passenger or providing distance between this passenger and all others is unconscionable. There needs to be a better way to deal with these issues for the safety of the other passengers. There should be a way to accommodate everyone without leaving immune compromised people with severe illnesses. The airlines have been reaping profits for years. Perhaps it is time that they put some of this money into creating a process which recognizes that not everyone who flies is very healthy and that the rest of the passenger population would like to return as healthy as we were when we left for our trip. read more

The always helpful and accommodating team at JetBlue didn't disappoint again. Their checkin terminals were not working and the process took longer than usual. The ticket agents were also frustrated by it but took it in stride and also helped me change a ticket for a different leg of my trip. Hoping to get to Mint status soon. horrible experience my flight was delayed 4 hours left at 1 am from vegas got home at 1 pm in boston including layover was supposed leave at 1140 pm and get home 9am. i was a dedicated customer and always reccomended them but after this i will never again they obviously do no care about their customers at all youre all just a dollar sign to them. Will never go and i dont suggest you go back either. Also their new seats in the new jets are the most uncomfortable seats ive ever sat in, good luck to anyone with back or neck problems you better find another airline. read more

Once you try it you will never go back to your old airline. Comfy seats, leg room, your own personal TV, and unlimited, FREE, good snacks. No peanuts on this plane. I've never had a flight cancellation or extreme delay. Prices are reasonable compaired to other airlines. And they dont charge baggage fees. The only con? They dont offer that many flights.
