Seems like they nickel and dime you for everything. So many options for seating and so many additional charges. Bags are now 35 a piece. The nice thing is that you can select your seat. No more worries about not getting to sit with your family. The seats on this flight seems to me a bit more spacious, enough leg room for me and I am 6'2". The plane did seem newer. They had usb ports in the seats for easy phone charging. My flight took off and landed on time, though I know that's largely out of the airline's control. I would still fly for short trips that I only need a carry on.

Southwest posts videos of how great, friendly and happy their staff and passengers are. However, this particular experience from Baltimore to Vegas was far from that. First, my boarding gate kept changing from B to A and back to B2 to B12. Our flight was delayed. Second, I'm in boarding group 2 with a seat in the 2nd row. I had a carry-on and a backpack. I had nowhere to put my carry-on in the front because people in row 4-6 put their carry-ons and backpacks in the overhead bin above row 2! How did the flight attendants not catch this? I was going to put my carry-on above row 1 and the flight attendant tells me it won't fit when I put the same carry-on above row 1 in my previous flight! A nice gentleman offers to put my carry-on above row 4 and he also grabbed it for me when we landed. Thank goodness for him because the flight attendants were useless. I don't expect them to carry carry-ons but at least make sure people are placing their stuff above their assigned seats. I had Choice Extra. "Southwest Airlines uses eight numbered boarding groups. Group 2 is for Choice Extra fares, passengers who purchase an Extra Legroom seat, and A-List Preferred members. This group boards just after pre-boarding and Group 1. They rebooked on some random flight that was 24 hours long. I spent over 2 hours on the phone (mostly on hold) at 1am trying to reschedule our flight and choose our seats since I paid to choose my seats. The Delta phone agent was extremely rude and not helpful. She informed me to speak to the Delta representative or agent at the airport for a possible bag credit for all this inconvenience. When we arrived to BWI airport (Baltimore Metro) the in-person Delta agent was the nastiest rudest person I have ever met. Not only was she disrespectful she did not care what the phone rep had told us and would not even print our boarding passes. Due to Delta cancelling our flights. We had to take a longer flight that left earlier and landed later. Those changes made us change our transportation to and from the airport. Now I had additional out of pocket expenses for parking and Ubers. That I would not have had if the original flight had been kept. When we finally arrived in Honolulu, the pilot arrive to early and then we missed our gate time window and we spent and extra hour on the plane before we can debark. Both the phone and in-person agent informed me that I could make a complaint on Delta's website. I made a formal complaint on 8.3.26 on Delta's website and received a generic no-reply email that they would respond within 48 hours. I have never heard anything from Delta. Delta has no empathy to anyone's situation. Their customer service agents need more training and lack any customer service skills.

The only food served to us were bagged snack - not very impressive for business class.

The terminal is bright, well maintained, and easy to navigate, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. I especially appreciated that the airport even has a dedicated pet relief area, which is a thoughtful feature for travelers flying with animals. Little details like that really make a difference. BWI was my hometown airport for many years, and it's been wonderful to watch it grow and modernize over time. Each visit reminds me how much it has improved while still being one of the easiest airports to use. Overall, it's one of the more pleasant U.S. airports I've traveled through, and I wouldn't hesitate to fly through here again.

There is also a Marc train station, and public transportation options in addition to ride share services. They have plenty of food and shopping options available. They are currently undergoing a renovation which will provide better luggage retrieval and more food options. This airport is not too big and also not too small, the perfect size to sprint to the last gate and hopefully, lol, make your flight when you're short on time. All in all, this a perfect airport for me and meets most of my flying needs, especially domestically.

Our flight from BWI to London was about 35 minutes late leaving, but we arrived at LHR early. The plane was a Boeing 777, going 3634 miles in 6 hrs., 15 min. We were in premium economy (World Traveler Plus), and our flight attendants were Patsy from Glasgow and Karl from Newcastle. Patsy was with BA for 25 years, left to raise her kids, then came back to BA two years ago. Karl started with BA on 12/1/2024 (less than 2 months ago). Both were excellent! There were only 108 passengers on board; 184 capacity - many in Economy stretched out across 4 middle seats, which we could not do that in PE as fixed armrests (held tray tables) were in way. Business Class was virtually empty. You just never know what you are going to get to eat on an airplane. We have to say that British Airways outdid themselves on our flight from Baltimore to London. We started with a beetroot, potato, and gherkin salad with a dill yogurt dressing. It was crisp and fresh. The main entrée was pineapple and mango braised veal cheeks, creamy polenta, broccolini with roasted mini red peppers. Oh my, the depth of flavors was amazing. The dessert was Tiramisu with whipped cream and a chocolate stick along with cheese and biscuits. We paired our dinners with some nice wine and were very pleased our choices. The flight attendants were excellent! Just before landing in London, they surprised us again with a delicious breakfast of a fried egg, cheese and Dijonnaise bagel. It was fresh and really good. Kudos to British Airways for some great airline food. All in all, it was a very smooth and pleasant flight.
