I am athletic so I noticed that at other studios, instructors tended to focus their attention on those who were struggling more than I was- which I totally get. However, Annie definitely watches all of the students and was quick to assess and tweak my positions so that I maximized the effect of each movement. She is also very good with verbalizing instructions, she's able to explain clearly exactly what you are supposed to be doing without having to get on the ground and show you. The instructor, as always, was really kind and did a great job making sure everyone understood the movements. She explained not only how to do certain moves, but also what they help with, like posture, digestion, and overall body awareness, which I really appreciated. Taken several instructors classes here over the years, some are still here some are not there are still here are truly amazing and wonderful. I always have a challenging, but fun! transitions and how to properly execute movements and use the equipment properly are always given. I only take the reformer Pilates classes usually with Lita, she's so amazing. Really cares about you and your workout and wants to make sure that you're not only enjoy it, but feel like you're getting what you want out of your workout. She does have a more strength training style on the reformer, which I do enjoy I have seen muscle growth and strength build, but does use some classical Pilates techniques, of course. I also really like Nancy. She has more classical Pilates classes great instruction as well very clear and fun but challenging. I love that they provide towels not all Pilates places do and fans in front of every reformer, which is really nice!

Especially at the high price of classes, and it being beginners, I would've thought that's something that would have been asked or been more careful with. I literally had to say "I can't do that, I'm hyper mobile" and she gave me a weird look. There was like no caring or personality. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
