It was my first time back in a yoga studio in quite some time. Years, it's been years. They were so welcoming. It was easy to schedule my class online, and I even had to reschedule, but still so easy to do. The studio is tucked inside a typical plaza off of Hillsboro and Lyons Road. Don't let the outside fool you, inside it s a lovely place. Calm and relaxing. I set up my matt in a socially distanced rectangle, and was directed to the various props. I thought that was awesome, because most newbies would not have, or know what to bring. Those blocks and knee pad came n handy, trust me. Even though this was a gentler class, descriptions are on the site when scheduling, I felt like I go a decent workout. I had sore muscles and everything, which I was happy about honestly. Chelsea ran a wonderful class. Gratitude was our theme. She was patient, and offered helpful modifications when needed. She also discussed other class options with me for the future. I like that she runs a beginners series for those really wanting to learn. I will definitely return and continue to improve!

The staff was amazing, caring, compassionate, and I was able to get a lot of one on one time with the Dr's and therapists. The accommodations were amazing, I was in a house that looked like it was out of movie.... Food was prepared by a chef, I was able to exercise, they had acupuncture and massage.... All these amenities were helpful, but most importantly is that I have been clean and sober for over 2 years. I live in Philly and was skeptical about coming down to Florida for treatment; however I decided to move down here and it was the best decision I could make. I am actively involved with the Legacy Alumni, and have a very strong support group. I do not usually write reviews, but I saw a bad review on here and have no idea how that could be possible, so I wanted to share true insight. If you are struggling with addiction, I highly recommend Legacy Healing Center.

During my conversation with him, I asked about the program's focus, particularly around mental health support without substance abuse, as the website heavily emphasizes substance abuse treatment. His response was unprofessional. He cut me off from speaking and he referred to individuals attending these programs as "sketchy" (his words, not mine), which I found offensive. He also told me that the Fort Lauderdale location was only accepting substance abuse patients, contradicting what I was told by another admissions representative, who assured me the program was not limited to that focus. His tone came across as condescending, and his behavior was completely inappropriate for a mental health facility. A different intake staff member called me back afterward and said that Richard was "new," but that is not true. He has been with the company for years. I appreciate the last person recognizing that Richard was out of line and calling to smooth things over, but the damage was done. I'm writing this review so others do not have to experience what I experienced as they search for mental health support.

Since taking the meditation class from him personally, it has helped me greatly to the extent that it not only deeply relaxes me but recharges my energy to the fullest. I cannot thank him enough for such a beneficial teaching. I know Mike changed the name to Transcendental Stress Management in 2005 or 2006. He quit the big organization that he worked for. He is still teaching classes and helping people who are in definite need like me. I highly recommend you take a look into it and see for yourself and find out how satisfying it is. The improvement in quality of life after the course is phenomenal. I highly recommend him as your meditation teacher.

I have been working and helping this teacher for months so this is first hand information. I highly recommend TM but please contact your local TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION center in your city. Blessings sent Jai Guru Dev Response to review below Jarin S. I have been practicing Transcendental Meditation since 1973. Recently I was helping Mr. Scozzari online. I created a group on FB dedicated to visions of enlightenment and was posting his events and ideas. Even sent a new student to him and now I'm so sorry. He convinced me to take the advanced technique course. I did and then found out that I was given a new Mantra completely different from my beloved original one that has been with me 51 years. Advanced TM Meditation technique never takes away the original mantra but adds another sylable to it. It's called the sleep technique done before bed. There are a few advanced techniques and they are learned in succession with time inbetween but you always have your original Mantra. Mr Scozzari and Dr Mahapatra deceived me 100%. They gave me a totally different mantra which didn't feel right. I contacted the TM main campus in Fairfield, Iowa and spoke to the head teacher who I know a long time. Told him what was going on. I was informed that Mr. Scozzari and Dr. Mahapatra were no longer affiliated with the TM organization and are prohibited by the courts to teach Transcendental Meditation. These 2 men then changed the name to Transcendental Stress Management. The courts prohibited them from using anything related to the real Transcendental Meditation organization. They have broken Vedic sacred traditions and are doing whatever they can to make money using Transcendental Meditation techniques improperly. Transcendental Meditation Advanced Techniques. Below is an explanation of the advanced technique. There is no mantra change. How can you defend such criminal behavior. This has been reported to the proper authorities. I am now back to my original Mantra and will learn the advanced technique through the proper teachings from a certified instructor directly through the Transcendental Meditation organization. This is not only a disgrace but a breach of trust and the universe is weeping. Karma will come and correct this matter in its proper time. I intend to do whatever is necessary to fight for justice. I was taken advantage and deceived. Thank God I saw through this and my heart directed me to the truth. These are not really a "course" but a simple repetition of your TM instruction in which an addition is made to your mantra (not a change of your original mantra). They don't add any time to your daily practice, you still meditate for 20 minutes twice a day.

I like how each instructor has a different style of heat to spice up any of the classes offered. And there are many classes offered which help the people who do not have a 9-5 job. One thing I wish was better was the spacing! It's a very teeny weeny studio and some classes I can't properly stretch enough because I feel I might bump into the person next to me!
