This is a gem of a place I have found in my backyard after so many years !!! These guys provide service with honest work ethics, fair prices, and solid experience !!! Jim & Paul (owners) are wonderful people. Not only are they very pleasant, helpful and friendly people to talk to but the level of expertise, knowledge, and experience they bring with the level of honesty is incredible. I had brought in my 2016 Honda Odyssey when I started getting dashboard alerts like FCW system failure message, LDW yellow light on, FCW yellow light on and the check engine lights all on at the same time. Not only was Paul so friendly and helpful right off from my initial phone call but once I dropped off my van to the shop, despite being busy, Jim was very prompt about diagnosing the issue and applying the needed fix/repairs all within the same day in a matter of few hours and got my Van running in top notch condition again. The issue was around VCM(Variable Cylinder Management) where there was cylinder 1 misfire and he took care of the problem with the right set of actions to repair the issue and provided proper guidance giving me all the important information keeping things transparent. These fellows are veterans in the industry with decades of experience that the many other shops don't come close to matching with the younger counterparts and they certainly do not rip you off with unnecessary things or extras that you don't need like many other shops or dealers may do. Excellent work, trustworthy and dependable people. Jet Auto Repair has been taking care of all of my vehicles for years now. They have been taking care of our Honda mini van, just as one example, and it has over 200,000 miles. We've had an Acura and a Honda Accord that they have taken great care of as well. If you want to deal with people that will treat you honestly then look no further. I have been using this car repair shop for over ten years now. Once I thought I might need a break job and brought my car in for them to take a look. Turns out it was just some dust that was the problem. I have a 2003 Honda and took it into a Honda dealer for an oil change just because I was in the area. The Honda Dealer Service department told me I also needed Brakes. I told them NO, and took it over to Jim Trebonsky at JET AUTO REPAIR. He evaluated my brakes and said that I could drive another 10,000 miles before another brake job would pop up!!!! What do ya know - an honest auto repair shop!!! As it had not been done for 6 years, I told Jim to flush and replace the break fluid. The Honda Dealer had also said I should get that done, and they had quoted me over $240.00 for the job. The guys at Jet Auto said they would have time to do this for me the following day for around $110.00. I set up the appointment with Jim and they serviced my car while I waited in their office. I am very happy with Jet Auto. read more

TERRIBLE!!! These guys are a big joke!! Picked up my car and the problem was not solved. Overcharged and my car in still in need of further repair. Maybe because they were drinking on the job? Walked in after my wife dropped me off and these guys were drinking beer in the shop. Shameful!! Never bringing my car here again and I would advise others to beware of being overcharged, shady repairs and chances are they will be drinking on the job! read more

I brought my car to Jet auto repair on a few occasions. Jim and Paul are the owners. Always being real nice so I trusted them. I had an issue with my car and brought it in to them. They claimed to have replaced a part for my car but they did a quick "patch up job" and charged me $300.00. I know this because a little over a year later I brought it back to them for the same problem and they told me "the warranty has expired." I noticed that the part I paid to have replaced was very rusty. Hmm, seemed a little fishy but I don't accuse people if I don't know for sure so I asked, "okay how much to replace it?" After being quoted a price for the replacement I agreed to pay the amount. When I came back to pick up my car they told me it was twice as much as they quoted!! I said, "What!!! that's not what you told me!" I was told that they had to replace many other parts. I said why didn't you call me? You can't just fix something without telling me. Jim proceeded to get angry and tell me that he is "an honest man" and that none of his other customers complain. He told me he does it all the time. I was in shock and in tears! Mind you, I never once accused him of doing anything wrong. He told me to stop crying and to just pay what I was quoted!!! After paying the price quoted to me to begin with he told me to take my car and go find another mechanic!! I couldn't believe my ears!!! This man tried to rip me off for an extra couple hundred dollars and then insults me by telling me to stop crying!! I would advice anybody not to bring their car to Jet Auto repair in Roselle, IL. Get some advice from friends and family to help find an honest mechanic. Everybody should be warned about these two guys. I am still in shocked over the whole incident. read more
