My family has gotten 6 month check-ups for over a decade and we've moved a few times so we've been through several practices - good ones and scammy ones. We had a great doctor for the last few years before this last move and we've all had healthy mouths. We're well aware of our preexisting conditions and patterns so when we went to a local dentist in our new city and were told we needed a total of about $10,000 worth of treatment (AFTER insurance!), I knew we were at the wrong office. He was recommending treatment - some quite extreme - for 5 out of the 5 people in my family. I went on the hunt for a private practice (avoiding chains) and it was hard to find someone that would take our insurance, or they'd tell us that they could only let us know the day before our appointment. I scheduled one of those as backup, but Lifeway informed us right away (thank you!). When the backup dentist called the day before our appointment and told us that they didn't take our insurance but we were welcome to pay out of network fees, I told them no thank you. At this point, Lifeway was my last hope, aside from driving far away. Dr. Patel was very patient working with our concerns about being taken advantage of. My husband was able to talk personally with her in a separate visit before committing and she was accommodating and candid. Everyone in the office was helpful all the way from booking to visits (and I ask A LOT of questions!). Beverly, the hygienist, gave me the gentlest cleaning I have ever had. Really, it was almost like a spa treatment! I didn't even need to wear my headphones and go to my happy place. And finally, Dr. Patel didn't invent any "necessary treatments" or overreact to some preexisting issues that my previous dentist was keeping an eye on. I know we'll have some treatments coming up, and I am fine with that as long as they're necessary and I have a dentist I can both trust and talk to. Being personable and gentle are a huge plus, especially with my autistic son coming in next. Dr. Patel has a playful demeanor and I love that too (I saw one reviewer be rather insulting about that - thank God she hasn't lost her spunk!). I appreciate that she's young (I think that was the same reviewer). I started my own business at 26 and was well-educated and equipped, which I can honestly say 16 years later. If you're looking for stuffy and prim, then maybe this place isn't for you. ;) We, however, will all be back for years to come. Thank you!

I had to check it out. The reviews were amazing. They all seemed to be five star reviews. I have had many problems in the past with Dentist and I have avoided them since 2013. By now my mouth is a disaster zone. The quality of care from the beginning was top-notch and they are very understanding and gentle with you. You get a wonderful experience when you arrive, greeted with smiles, and everyone treats you with respect. They seem to know that you're going through some issues. They are even more gentle if they know you've had problems in the past and you might fear the dentist. I'm happy I found this place and I look forward to the work that's going to be done here. Fast forward three months, and I go in for a routine checkup. I was never notified that Dr. Chahine had left, so when a woman (and not Dr. Chahine) came to clean my teeth, I was confused. Anyhow, I told her I was having some pain in my tooth. She checked and said I would have to have a root canal if they didn't treat it soon, so we set up an appointment for today. When I arrived for my appointment (after having to do some considerable work to make it there on time), the receptionist informed me that they had called NUMEROUS times and left NUMEROUS messages so that I "wouldn't waste my time" coming to my scheduled appointment. She told me that I would have to reschedule earlier. I told her that I could not come earlier due to my work schedule. SHE LITERALLY SHRUGGED. I was willing to overlook her rude behavior when Dr. Chahine worked there. Now, there is simply no reason to go back. Caller ID shows she called ONCE yesterday, not numerous times. Most doctors/dentists call the day before to CONFIRM appointments, not to cancel them. Why was I not notified sooner that we needed to change the appointment?

I saw several reviews about people talking about how they have anxiety for dentist & how they were treated well. As someone who has severe anxiety for dentist I can definitely confirm that the care is amazing. The doctors work in a fast & timely manner & the DA's are well trained & friendly. I can't remember her name but during treatment the DA noticed my lips were dry & put Vaseline on my lips. I was so grateful she did that because I felt like my lips were going to rip! The front desk staff are also very nice! Even though I put them through a lot because I requested nitrous for each appointment because of my fears, & also being a grown adult, they never made me feel judged or bad because I requested it. The only thing I would improve is that one of the DAs had semi long acrylic nails & could feel her nails poke me inside my mouth on my gums when she was placing a suction bite block in. Also a very clean environment, I made sure to check the suctions to make sure they were clean & everything is spotless! 100% recommend!
