He explained all the ins and out of fly fishing at a basic level, but it was clear he was happy to explain more.

Only one register and associate for a store tat large on a Friday afternoon in Spring seems a little nuts but that's today's world I guess. The store always seems a little messy at least on the first floor. The second seems to be a little better organized at least in the golf section. The pricing is like all others. Ya Gotta Pay to Play. So pay I do. I do appreciate their rewards program. I love a good reward or coupon. Keeping the husband up in cute golf clothes and making sure he has his favorite balls to smack in the face= Happy husband which= Happy wife. It works both ways.

Once you find the style you like, now you get to find a sales person who goes into the back and hunts for your size. We're not fans of this technique. And the prices are significantly higher than online. The convenience of having it "now" isn't worth it to me. No, Dick's isn't selling guns any more. A bummer as I didn't have much to look at while my wife was looking at shoes. [Review 2041 of 2024 - 3743 in North Carolina - 23061 overall]

The store itself is spacious and well organized, with a good selection of Patagonia's outdoor apparel and gear. Everything is displayed nicely and the environment feels clean and inviting, making it easy to browse. That said, the pricing is full retail, and Patagonia products can be pretty expensive. Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area where Patagonia outlet stores are more common, I'm used to finding better deals. Because of that, I'm a bit hesitant to pay full price and tend to compare with other outdoor retailers like REI, where you can sometimes find similar gear at more competitive prices. The South End location itself is lively and fun to explore, with lots of nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and dessert spots. It's a great area to walk around and make a few stops while you're there. Parking can be a bit challenging in South End, especially during busy times, so plan accordingly. Insider tip: If Patagonia runs a seasonal sale, this would be a great place to come back and browse again. Overall, a nice store in a great neighborhood--definitely worth a look if you're already shopping or dining in South End.

Yes, North Face has more than just jackets! Is what I told my mother when I first showed her this store. There are some neat and catchy t-shirts in here, not to mention pants and shorts for all occasions. Jackets are a given but I personally can speak for the excellence of their bags. I have one now that I never regret purchasing. In the back they usually have a few rows of clearance items alongside the shoes. Mixed throughout there's even a lot of legit climbing gear including ropes, harnesses and carabiners. The prices are certainly high. It is fancy-pants South Park Mall though the location doesn't make much difference. But North Face has quality behind them and some amount of care for the environment and the world in their beginnings. So it's usually a price I'm willing to pay when something fits my fancy.
