The condiments are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients are so fresh that a simple sandwich turns into something incredibly flavorful. The women working here are absolute sweethearts. On my last visit, I called back three separate times to tweak my toppings, and each time, they were so kind and accommodating. By the third call, we laughed about it together--it was never a bother to them, just another example of their friendly and welcoming service. The space itself is small, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot than a dine-in experience, but that just adds to its charm. The efficiency of the service and the cozy, tucked-away feel make it the perfect little sandwich spot. Highly recommend! The sandwich I got this last visit was grilled chicken, tomato, spinach, lettuce, American cheese, and balsamic dressing with a side of hots.

It's been awhile since we were in Worcester so I decided to revisit New England roast beef. They absolutely delivered a great experience with healthy sized portions and more than reasonable prices. The staff at the counter were fantastic, friendly and helpful. My giant roast beef sandwich on an onion roll with lettuce tomato, onion and horseradish sauce was great. I paired it with a cup of clam chowder. Creamy, well seasoned packed with perfectly cooked potatoes and plenty of clams was right on point. My daughter and her boyfriend got the steak tip dinner. Fantastic portions of marinated perfectly grilled steak, served with rice, salad and a piece of French bread. I can't see how they make money with the amount of food we got. If you're in Worcester give them a try.

Positively nothing disappoints. Ever. I can make a dozen recommendations but truly no matter what you get it will not let you down or leave you hungry. Gets crazy for lunch and can be wild on the weekend for pizza but it's 10000000% worth the trouble to get here and the wait. Service is wonderful and if you have the time to sit in and have a meal, do try to. It's very small, very casual and feels like having the best lunch you ever had at your aunties house. As mentioned it's rarely quiet in there so take out is best overall. I recommend calling ahead for sliced deli meats or things like that as they really appreciate that. If you ever see the cherry cobbler in the fridge do not skip it - you'll regret that. Here's the inside tip - there is not a better Caesar salad with chicken this side of the Mississippi. Dead serious about that !!! They have my business for life and possibly beyond. I'll be haunting the place for arancini balls as a ghost.

People compare this to Applebee's or the 99, but i think it's much better. Service was friendly but they seemed very short handed. There are sooo many take out orders that the staff seemed to need more people to get them done. Our waitress was all over the place running from table to kitchen, but she was awesome. Ordered the chicken fingers and for $20 I think it was a good deal. I took some home because I couldn't finish. I saw another table with a chicken sandwich and want to get the next time. Dave's Hot Chicken keeps things simple with a menu centered around Nashville-style chicken tenders…read moreand sliders, letting the quality of the chicken and the customizable spice levels do most of the work. We walked into a casual, modern space with colorful murals and a counter-service setup that made it clear this was a quick-stop spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. The room had a lively, energetic feel with a steady flow of customers coming in for takeout and a few tables occupied by diners settling in for a quick meal. The order process was straightforward, and the menu was focused enough that deciding what to get did not take long. The sliders are the highlight, featuring crispy, juicy chicken topped with kale slaw, pickles, and Dave's sauce on a soft bun. We ordered a few and found the tenders having a crunchy coating while staying moist inside, and the different spice levels made it easy to order something that matched our heat tolerance. Even the mild options were well seasoned, so we did not have to go spicy to enjoy the flavor. The seasoned fries paired well with the chicken, and the combo meals were filling enough to leave satisfied. While the menu is not very large, it covers the essentials well and makes ordering straightforward whether it is a first visit or a stop for a quick meal. The spice levels are clearly labeled, and starting with Lite Mild or Mild is a safe option before working your way up. Service was generally efficient, though food is cooked fresh to order, so waits could be a little longer during lunch, dinner, or weekend rushes. The team handled the steady flow with efficiency, and the portions were generous for the price. The food came out hot and well assembled, and the consistency across the order made it easy to know what to expect. The chicken was usually cooked well, and the combination of crispy coating, juicy interior, and balanced heat made for a satisfying meal. Dave's Hot Chicken is not trying to reinvent fried chicken, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The crispy chicken, customizable heat, and satisfying portions make it a solid spot when you are craving Nashville-style hot chicken, even if there are other places that offer a wider menu.
