However, I could not taste the swiss cheese or the honey mustard that were supposed to be on there. I would have actually preferred less meat and more flavor from cheese and mustard. Even more sauerkraut would have helped as the turkey ate dry after awhile. Husband loved the pastrami one. First I asked of of the 'butchers' to cut a piece of salmon that was sold by the pound in half, and that I wanted to buy only one half. He said he could not of that, but that I could buy one of the pre-cut pieces. The one he suggested had the skin removed and cost $10 per pound more than the one I wanted. I like the skin on and did not want to pay the extra charge. I left without purchasing any salmon. Then I asked another 'butcher' to trim a tenderloin steak and butterfly it for me. I told him that I agreed to pay for the pre-trimmed weight. Well, he really did butcher it. What was left bore no resemblance to a 'steak'. It was ragged (like it had been cut with a butter knife). He butterflied it about 1/4 in from opposite sides and left a large cube of meat in the middle. Unfortunately I did not notice this until I got home. My wife thought i had purchased hamburger meat. I have generally had a good experience when shopping at Publix, but this was a disaster.

The wine list was reasonable both by glass and by bottle - much more so than most upscale Italian places. It's a pretty good deal, with sandwiches around $5-7. A cup of soup is just a few bucks! They also carry drinks and some snacks, and always have a couple baskets of brownies and bars to satisfy your nagging sweet tooth.
