I will say that they had alot of online orders to deal with but I was left standing waiting to pay and be given a drink as I was very thirsty. The man working the counter was very slow and did not prioritize the customers in front of him, I had to wait for the other gentleman to finish cooking our Phillies and then he checked me out, i did not order drinks as I'd been hating for far too long. After placing my order @ 12:06 I arrived at Jersey Mike's at 12:20 and waited patiently for my order a gentleman came in complaining about how long it was taking and the young lady told him he should just leave. They were really busy. He said we'll give me a refund so I still waited and waited as several customers came and ordered their sandwich in line sat down and finish their lunch so I jump back in line and asked the guy where was my sandwiches he said they were busy and I should shut the F up. I was like dang maybe we should just go outside he said you're not gonna do that. I'm only 16 years old. I said you're right but you shouldn't run your mouth like a grown man if you're not I was still waiting on my sandwich it was now 12:50. And the young lady from before told me I need to leave and that I was dangerous so she said I'll call the cops on you. I said well I'm not leaving without my sandwich or I'll call the cops on you. I enjoyed my salad but the bowl wasn't filled. What bothered us- we walked in and no one greeted us. No one looked at us. No one said Welcome to Jersey Mikes. We felt like we were disturbing them. It was bizarre. We told them what we wanted, after an employee finally turned around. We paid and this person was odd. Not a thank you, come again. Not a peep. Not one word was spoken except our ordering. They were not busy. We were the only ones in line. Again, bizarre. It's too bad because the food is decent. Where are the managers? Where is the training? Why can't people just be polite? Why can't people do the job they are being paid for? read more

Ordered a GlutenFree sandwich and cookie (which is an extra charge). As I was eating I became sick fast which was an indicator to me that the food I was given was not Gluten Free. I called and spoke to Manager who claimed it to be a mistake by a new employee. I was told her district office would be in contact. A week later and still no one had contacted me. A week later I'm still physically dealing with the consequences of ingesting Gluten. At the very least I should have been refunded my money. After all I paid extra and was not given what I purchased and instead got a week plus of my body not being well. Shame on them and their upper management for not caring about the well being of their patrons. There is no excuse when the health of your customers becomes an issue. I feel very disrespect. I feel a lack of concern. I feel a lack of follow through. I get mistakes are made, there is no doubting that this was a mistake but It's very sad that for $17 I suffered and they have chosen to lose a customer for life. Update: Over a week later the district office did not contact me but the local manager named Theresa did and she refunded my money and sent a gift card. April 2023 I went to this store on a Saturday to get a sandwich for my wife and I. My wife was in the hospital since SB Sunday that year due to a stroke. I ordered and was getting ready to pay when I saw the sign that it was cash only, due to a machine issue. I had no cash on me. I explained the situation, wife, could run and get money from a bank, etc. the young man in charge that day, said "I trust what you're telling me and under the circumstances, your order is on the house today". I was shocked and overwhelmed by his grace and the Grace of God shown to me that day. I took the order, thanking him over and over. when i got into my truck, I called my wife and broke down, emotionally drained and overwhelmed. I drove through tears back to the hospital. First time there ordered via the app. Got home (25 minutes away) missing one of 4 sandwiches. Called Was told by Roger it was forgotten and they put it in the back in case we came back. Never called (our number was on the order...no effort made to reach out). His solution was to take my name and the next time we came in we give his name (Roger) and my name and they will take care of us. The following weekend we order on Sunday 11/5 via the app. Husband is picking up on our way home 15 minutes after I placed order. Goes in and asks at the register. Was told it was being worked on. AN HOUR LATER he received our food. While waiting he saw people who came in after him get their food while the staff made a point to not make eye contact. It was busy, but this is ridiculous. Didn't even get to inquire about our credit for a sandwich as they made a point to not make contact with him when they knew he had been waiting a long time. TWO HUGH ERRORS in one week. DON'T waste your time. Go to another Jersey Mikes. This place is an absolute joke on time management and customer service. read more

Came in today the first time for a carry out. Was at first impression very impressed w the cleanliness of the place. My parents and I had a coupon where you buy two subs you get a free one. My mother really enjoyed the meatball. I ordered the big kahuna. It was philly steak w green peppers shrooms onions and jalapeños. We all got wheat bread. I got some mrs vickies vinegar and salt chips. The soda machine must have been recently cleaned as the soda was very fresh. I liked the bread and my sandwich very much. It was very good. 1 star due to lack of hygiene or safe Covid practices. I watched the staff touch my sandwich, touch the register, touch my sandwich, touch the register literally 4-5 in the process of making my sandwich. I'm guessing when people open the store they don't put gloves on to open the register and so all it would take is one person who came in contact with Covid or who is sick to contaminate the register screen. You should NOT be handling food and the register at the same time. WE ARE STILL IN A PANDEMIC and have a 3rd variant. Even if we weren't, that's really gross. There's no point to wear gloves while handling food if the person is going to also touch public surfaces. It defeats the point. read more

Not only is it the BEST Sub in my area, the customer service is amazing. Vanessa, the store manager recognized me as usual customer on an exceptionally busy Friday lunchtime. Turns out I forgot my phone on my desk and could not unlock my card to pay for my sub. Vanessa allowed my take the sandwich and pay later. About 20 minutes later I returned to pay and literally found a bus full of college athletes all lined up ahead me to order. The bus was parked outside. Anyway, the staff recognized me and allowed me to pay without waiting, got my cell number and told the Store Manager Vanessa that I had returned to pay. There are definitely one-off, independent sandwich shops out there better than Jersey Mike's but if you're looking for a consistently good sub Jersey Mike's is by far the best national chain. The meat and cheese isn't sliced until you order and there are plenty of topics to choose from without feeling like you're in a Souper Salad buffet line. The staff is friendly and there's no pressure if you need a moment to read the menu. This particular location has a smaller footprint (I didn't count but estimating only a dozen tables) but otherwise lives up to my expectations set by other locations. read more

This place is alright. I like that they cook the stuff "fresh". Other than that it was fairly average. The bread was pretty tough for "fresh". I ordered the cheesesteak and the girl at the counter asked if I wanted chicken or steak. I asked her what she recommended and she told me beef because "their chicken was dry". Interesting. She was friendly and honest at least. Prices seemed high for the regular size and good pricing for their monster size. This happens to be our favorite sub shop in all of central Texas and will continue to be... that being said tonight was out of the norm and I asked for a big kahuna sub very light on the jalapeños and add tomatoes... I get home and there is about half a jar of jalapeños on my sub... I really didn't get too complicated on my order and emphasized to go very easy on the jalapeños... this sub was for my wife who has a very serious ulcer problem but every now and then can do a tad spicy but this was too much... please listen to your customers. read more

The most noticeable quality that you can tell is that the ingredients are definitely fresher than other places and tastes very clean. I love jersey mikes and have been eating at them for 10+ years. That being said this location absolutely sucked and was a huge disappointment. I went shortly after it opened and have not been back since. I am from Philadelphia and know a good cheesesteak and really do enjoy theirs but like many people in philly I enjoy ketchup on my cheesesteak. Every single jersey mikes I've been to has had ketchup on hand. When I asked this location for ketchup their response was "corporate doesn't allow us to have ketchup". Interesting, so if that's a corporate decision then why does the several other jersey mikes I've been too from Texas to Florida, all have ketchup. Every single one. Living in Waco it is not worth the drive to this location in Hewitt. Hopefully the Waco location will be much better. read more
