Wowsa! The only reason I can imagine this place doesn't get more business than they do is because people just don't know... Owned by the same lady who owns Busters, the baked deserts and some other items are made daily and brought across the street. The prices may seem a little intimidating at first but you should expect to pay a little more at a deli in the first place, and once you see what you get for the money then you'll realize the deal you're getting. The food is frickin' awesome. The honey wheat bread on my Palmetto Special was soft and warm amazingly good. My wife got 8 grain bread on her Carolina BLT and usually doesn't like "wholesome" breads but was really impressed with it. Not to mention the pile of meat on her sandwich was about as thick as my fist. My daughter got a ham sandwich and even she seemed pretty interested. None of us ate more than 1/2 before we were full, so not only did we get great food, we also got leftovers! The meat is sliced to order on the spot and the veggies were fresh and crisp. You have to ask for pickles on the side and it's worth it because they're quite delicious, too. When we were leaving another couple came in for lunch. The husband had a sub but the wife got a salad and as they sat down, both of them could do nothing but sit and stare at how much food she was given. That thing was HUGE! This place is probably going to be one of my favorites and I can't wait to go back and try so many other sandwiches (and one of those salads). I just hope they get enough customers to stay in business because this is a hidden jewel.

My party of 3 arrived around 5pm and decided to sit at the bar. The ambiance was casual and comfortable, very clean. Our bartender was amicable and attentive. We started off with drinks my husband and I decided on margaritas, they only offer classic no flavors but there were a few tequilas to choose from. Our cousin drinks red wine and they only offered a Cabernet so she went with that. The drinks were ok. I would not come here solely to drink since I'm into handcrafted drinks. Our cousin and I both ordered the Buffalo Shrimp Tacos. For my side I had the beer battered onion rings which came with a jalapeño ranch sauce, they were crispy and really tasty. We usually stick with Food Lion or Walmart for shelved and cooled/frozen goods but if we're in the mood for some produce then we'll make the drive out and pay the extra costs for the freshest in town. As a side note, there is a new Super Bi-Lo in Sandhills and it's amazing. There's also a Publix in West Cola and we've made that drive (55-60 minutes) a few times just for produce and their bakery (while SB-L has a better section for cheese and wine).
