This Jersey Mikes is always dirty the three times I have gone in, there wasn't even a clean table to sit at and this wasn't a busy time at all as I was the only customer in there when I walked in. I got the buffalo chicken sub it took over 20 min to get it out, it was a hot sandwich so what ever, but the problem was when I took a bit into it less than 5 min later it was cold, not warm but cold. To top it off they didn't even mix the chicken with the hot sauce it was only what I assumed was squirted onto half the bread because the other half didn't have any on it. For an almost $20 sandwich they can do better. The only reason why I figured they did this is because I didn't leave a tip at checkout, let me say this again, I didn't leave a tip before I had received any service besides my order taken. What type of tip do they think they are entitled to at that point? If you want to eat at a place that is has dirty tables, is overpriced, provided bad customer service, a janky bad put together sub a at 630 pm on a Tuesday then this is your place. They take forever to make subs, they have a list of 15 things to do to order from your car before you can order, and you have to wait for an absurd amount of time before they make your subs. I just came back from Jersey Mikes' on Alice Drive in Sumter,S.C. I ordered my 3 large subs (which was Giants) for $53.47 . when I went to pick up the Order, the girl had put my order in wrong. there was around 20 people in line which she took care of all of those people and the 10 people behind me that called in before doing my order. Well, I'll be honest... Which Wich has basically stolen the best sandwich title away from any other place I've been/tried since. However, from Sumter the nearest one is quite a drive, making it rather difficult to grab a sandwich that's actually tasty. Till I found this place, which I would say comes in a very close second to Which Wich. The ingredients were fresh, the turkey was delicious, it was real cheese. Just a great made sandwich. Bread may have been made in house but wasn't out the oven fresh. Has some tough spots, but was still good overall. I can't complain about the cost, because compared to competition **cough-subway-cough** the meat is fresh cut and PILED on. PLUS, you get what you pay for, and I'd rather pay for taste/quality PLUS quantity, which is what you get here at Jersey Mike's. Thumbs up to a place I'd recommend! I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap which should have contained chicken, buffalo sauce, blue cheese dressing, and a couple few vegetables...which it did. My wrap tasted amazing!. This has been and continues to be possibly the worst business in Sumter county for customer service. They hire inept teenagers and so-called managers who know nothing and care nothing for you as a customer. After repeated chances to get it right, the have failed me on many many occasions. The order is always wrong, especially a call-in order. And when you call to get it corrected, they act like you are the offending party, even as nice and cordial as I try to be. (I am in customer service, so I always try the sugar over salt approach). Being told that the only way to correct a vastly mis-made order is by bringing the food in to be re-made is impossible in my line of business. I have an extremely tight schedule, and just suck it up and eat the bad sandwich. But when I call in to possibly be repaid/made whole for the repeated mistakes, I get treated like I am searching for a handout. Absolutely horrible way to treat someone who keeps coming back for the wrong order. Note the lack of bacon, and half the meat that is usually on their subs. read more

This is the only place I can get a gluten free sub. The GF bread is soft and doesn't crumble, and the meats and cheeses are sliced fresh. They have to clean the slicing machine, change gloves, get a clean knife, and build the sub on a clean work surface to limit cross contamination, but the employees have never made me feel like an inconvenience. Thank you for giving those of us who are gluten free out of necessity a safer sandwich option. read more

I love Jersey Mike's. I've eaten at different locations in different cities for 15 years. This store however has irritated me for the last time. They consistently touch money and then touch food without changing gloves. There is cross contamination ALL OVER THE PLACE. They are also inconsistent with the amount of meat they put on sandwiches. Sometimes way too much and sometimes way too little, but rarely a good compromise. The bacon is also inconsistent. Sometimes it's as limp as can be and sometimes it's burned. Consistency is what people want from restaurants, and this place fails miserably. Sure, the ingredients are better than Subway, but the bread is no better here (hard and stale) and the other problems just piss me off. No more. I'll find lunch elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately our business has been driven elsewhere due poor customer service, employee attitudes and arguments with customers, and several DHEC violations! Soccer tournament families stay away! Slow and rude with price increases not on menu. Chicken Parmesan all sauce barely any chicken with cheese stuck to the paper. This is not to run anyone's business down, but hopefully will be a helpful suggestion. There is no benefit to calling in a takeout order if you just fall in the back of the line to pick up the order. I watched people who came in after me go through the line, have their sandwiches made and pay, while I was ignored. This went on even after the clerk confirmed that my order was ready. This was the 3rd time in a week that I have picked up (my wife loves the food), but the service has been lacking each time. I have also been charged a different price for the same food on each of the 3 visits- the highest being the last one when I questioned the benefit to calling an order in. $8.75 for a small BLT! read more
