It has a fun bar atmoshpere if you're going to watch sports or grabbing a few after work. I've always enjoyed the food here but I tend to gravitate towards their german menu. I'm not positive but I've heard they were the previous owners of the legendary "Schnitzel's tavern" in Bellefonte (which burnt to the ground with the Bush house)? Their menu has a variety of items with sandwiches, entrees, etc. but the german section is truly delicious. My favorite, pictured, is the badischer schnitzel. My wife tried the "broadway" sandwich. It's a great stop if you're looking to try something different. You can sometimes avoid the crowds of town, during busy weekends by venturing here.

We got the around the world nachos, which were awesome. Big portion. The bbq chicken tacos, Asian 5 spice beef tacos, and the pork tacos are a must try. Everything had the right amount of spice and the food was very fresh. If you're not sure about what to get, try the taco flight which comes with 3 tacos for $14.99. Each taco with either flour or corn tortilla will cost you about $6. The ambiance is nothing to rave about. But all you need is a table to enjoy this fantastic food. Must try.

Menu has Pizza, Stromboli's, Salads, Subs, and various other items. I've dined here twice and both times went with the two slice Pizza combo that is reasonably priced. Pizza slices here are large. One thing that stands out is Ville Billy's does use a slightly stronger cheese then most other Pizza places. They also serve Pepsi products and the fountain is self-serve. Overall, nice place for a few slices and I hope they are able to keep going at the Nittany Mall.

State College bagel visit, part 1…read more Irving's is located in the heart of State College, directly across College from Penn State. This is clearly a student favorite, with amole seating capacity and plenty of coffee. It was well-inhabited by sleepy students during my ex May visit. I ordered a basic poppy bagel (toasted) wiith cream cheese. Service was quick and friendly, with a generous schmear of cream cheese. The bagel was tasty, and in the middle (in my experience) of the amount of poppy seed. I'd definitely recommend Irving's though it is probably a madhouse during the school year so plan your visit accordingly.
