This location used to be my favorite but no more. Today I ordered a giant cheese steak with extra meat and extra cheese and no bun along with a regular Italian without the bun. The young man that took my order was also working the grill that day and he spun a 180 to start making my order. I moved up to the register to see if I could pay yet and the young lady at the register asked the young man that took my order what I had ordered so she could go ahead and get me taken care of. While he was telling her what I had ordered, some woman whom which I'd had zero interaction with at this point, interrupted loudly and imo rudely saying we can't make that that way, meaning the cheesesteak. I told her that I had indeed ordered the exact same sandwich the previous week, which I had. I ate on it for 2 days. She said "That's impossible, I was here all last week!" with a really aggressive tone which visibly made the young lady working the register uncomfortable. I said "I don't care where you were last week, I know what I ordered and had for lunch last week. You're welcome to look at my points account and probably see my entire order history! You know what? Did you just call me a liar? Cancel the entire order! I'm not spending my money when I'm being called a liar just trying to order a couple bunless sandwiches for my lunches. I'll never be back to this location again". And I walked out. A couple minutes down the road I called the location to get the ladies name and she said that It was Ann or Anna. I couldn't clearly make it out due to background noise. My biggest concern in this matter is honestly the employees below this woman. If she will openly accuse a good customer of lying to the point where the employees were visibly uncomfortable, one doesn't have to think too hard to figure out how she will talk to and treat her subordinates. read more

Super rude! I hate to pull the race card, but I'm a Black woman and I walked into this store on the Fourth of July since everything else was closed. I wasn't greeted at all when I walked in, just stared at. That wasn't a huge deal, but still worth noting.There were two white women working, one younger and one a bit older. I said hello and explained that it was my first time there, so I didn't know what kinds of bread they had. One of them responded, "The bread that we normally have," rudely as if I hadn't just said I was new to this restaurant. Then, without even asking me what I wanted, they just started making a footlong sandwich. They didn't ask what kind of toppings I wanted or if I wanted anything besides meat and sauce. When I asked for toppings, one of them gave me attitude but eventually added them.At checkout, she told me the price, and I let her know that I only wanted a half sandwich not a foot long.I wasn't planning to spend that much. I explained this gently, but they just said, "Well, we already made the sandwich." As I was leaving, they started calling me ridiculous repeatedly even though I had been nothing but polite. Placed a large order for my office this morning with ample time to make it, we made sure on our end that names were put on each box to make sure everyone got the correct items. Some of the sandwiches we received were all wrong & we were even charged for our add one's that weren't on the sandwiches & they had mixed up several of the sandwiches & put them in a box with the wrong name. I called the store & politely asked to speak with the manager just to let them know of the issue & she was absolutely awful. She told me I was wrong about the sandwiches being messed up & had every excuse under the sun. Then belittled my coworker that picked up the order which is very unprofessional. The Italian sub was delicious as expected. My cheesesteak had a good flavor, however there was so much liquid accompanying it that the bread was terribly soggy and there was a pool of liquid even in the wrapper. Good sandwich shop. When you tell them you are GF due to an allergy, they go into a cleaning frenzy to ensure there is a very small chance of getting sick. We had a JM in my college city, metro area of 170,000, but the location was not so good, so they were only here for about a year. This is a great location! The staff is super friendly and on top of it. Ive never had a bad experience here and got a heartfelt apology and a quick fix when i noticed they were making it wrong. Even when you walk in 10 mins before closing when they've already cleaned their slicer, you get a big smile and a hello with no mumbling under their breath which you'd expect. Their giant subs are actually giant. Enough to split with someone easily. They have hot subs, cold deli subs and they can make any option a wrap. Their tea is really good too. read more

I never thought I'd see the day that I would give a chain restaurant a five star review, but alas, it has come and I tell you, Jersey Mike's has earned every single one of them. For those unfamiliar with the chain, Jersey Mike's is to put it simply, a sub shop, similar to the likes of Subway, or Jimmy Johns. In addition to offering up a number of signature cold cuts, they also offer a number of different hot subs as well, similar to the style one would find at Penn Station. The ingredients and breads always taste fresh, and flavorful, and their sandwiches leave you nice and full. In addition to their sandwiches, you can opt to buy a bag of chips as well if you so choose. What really sets this Jersey Mike's apart from the pack however, is their service. To put it simply, the guys who work here are among the friendliest you are ever going to find working in this type of establishment. It is nice going into a place like this and being recognized as a regular and being treated with a heightened sense of service because of this. Sometimes they are even willing to throw a free drink your way! If you live or work in the area and you are looking for something quick and tasty for lunch, this would be one of my recommendations. Great food normally but I have found this location to be the most unfriendly of the Jersey mikes I frequent I feel like i might cut this one out and just go to the one in Blueash. For example the guy working the counter the other day seemed unhappy, it was around dinner time and we (the wife & I) were the only people in the shop it's hard to explain bit he slapped my sub together Harshly as if he were upset about something. So I said to him "Smile man, it's a great day to be alive" & he ignored me and kept up his disgruntled attitude. Now this is just the most recent of a few incidents that have occurred at this location and I understand that they are young guys and may not be happy to be working at JM'a but in the service industry I feel that you should be friendly at least and maybe throw in a smile or two just to make someone's day read more

I grew up eating Jersey Mike's subs in Point Pleasant at the Jersey Shore. I was so excited a number of years ago to see them popping up around the country. The cheesesteaks are good (nothing is Philly but these are the best I can find outside of Philly). The only give this 4 stars because of 3 things. 1) The regular subs are hit and miss with the quality of meats. 2) The amount of pepers/onions on the cheesesteak has decreased over time 3) The prices are crazy now. So, I love the service. I've never had bad service. I love the cheesesteaks, overall. I like the subs. If you don't mind paying a bit, I recommend them. read more
