All I wanted was a bagel and coffee... didn't seem like an unreasonable request. But here we…read moreare... maybe there has been turnover and the people running Panera just forgot what a bagel was. If so, they should really take it off the menu... because what they actually serve doesn't even loosely resemble a bagel. It was more like a dry, crusty, multigrain hamburger bun... only flatter... and burned. The series of poor decisions that lead to this morning's train wreck of breakfast disappointment is mind boggling. I really can't blame any single person involved in the order... because there was a fundamental disconnect between the general American understanding of what the concept of a "bagel" is and what this Panera is dropping into a bag and hoping they were close enough... I think there were 5 or 6 individuals working at the time I stopped in... and I just can't understand why one of them didn't stop and tell the others: "Wait a minute... this isn't a bagel. This is just dry, crusty bread!" Unfortunately, not one of them had the presence of mind to point out that if they are going to charge $5 for a bagel... then perhaps they should actually provide a bagel. I'm really dumbfounded by the entire experience. Oh, and the coffee was burnt... I should have just stayed home.

I ordered a turkey sandwich and my son and husband ordered the wagyu. I personally thought that my sandwich was just okay. I thought the turkey was too dry for a sandwich. My son got the wrong sandwich as his was spicy and he didn't order a sandwich with spice. The person at the counter gave him a new sandwich though because she remembered what sandwich he actually ordered and what he brought up to her was not it! My husband loved his sandwich, so I suppose if you go there and get the Waugh sandwich it's worth it! If not, you might be safer going somewhere else. They do have desserts though and their brownie is really good! This place is worth a try though!

They give Jimmy Johns a run for their money! My favorites are the Hot Bobbie which tastes like Thanksgiving. Yep. it is roasted turkey with stuffing! My other favorite is the Slaw Be Jo which is stacked with beef slices and a ton of coleslaw. I've had coleslaw as a side at many sit-down restaurants and I am typically disappointed so I don't really trust anyone to get it right. But Capriotti's has a great coleslaw recipe. The coleslaw also makes the sandwhich juicy but not overly juicy where it becomes sloppy. Just perfect! The sandwiches are also really good sizes so you can eat half now and half later.

The sandwich doesn't look like the advertised picture. My sandwich is kind of flat and not eye catching like the picture. The sandwich tasted okay. I got the #6 and added lettuce, tomato, pepperoncinis, pickles, and olives. The most honest way I can describe my sub was that it was the most mediocre sub I've eaten. The bread tasted stale and was fairly tough to bit into, the meat was meh and the toppings were a let down. When you watch your server literally counting out how many small olives or pepperoncinis they're allowed to put on your sandwich, you're at the wrong sub shop. The people working here were genuinely nice and friendly and you could tell they have a strong rapport with the regulars, but I was just so disappointed in my sub. If I had to choose, I would pick Jersey Mike's over this location every time. It's not even close. I can't recommend eating here. I definitely didn't experience what all those other people experienced who gave this place 5 stars, but I know I could make a better tasting and fresher sub at home. Pass on this one sadly.
