I recently ordered a 7-inch turkey and provolone sub. I have an intolerance to gluten (but I don't have Celiac Disease) so I requested gluten-free bread. There was a $2.00 extra charge for the gluten-free bread (it was $3.60 extra for the 14-inch). The bread was, literally, not edible. It fell apart each time I took a bite and it was like eating a bunch of "fluff." I eat gluten-free bread all the time at home, and while it certainly doesn't have the consistency of whole-grain bread, it's edible and doesn't fall apart when I eat it. Regarding toppings, they were very limited compared with Subway. There was no red onion (only white), no green pepper, no black olives, and only mayo and vinegar and oil. At Subway you get a whole bunch of sauces to choose from. I will not be eating at a Jersey Mike's again. Go to Subway instead. read more

I usually come to this place and never have an issue/ however tonight was not that case After ordering online and showing up on the time it was given to me to pickup I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes. We order from this location frequently on Postmates and always get extra meat on our cheesesteaks. My family is very particular so I always give a quick call to the restaurant to make sure they don't miss the special instructions (especially because we pay $8 extra per sandwich). I've spoken to the same man, who seems to be the owner or possibly a manager, on the phone several times. Each time, he has gotten more impolite and seems to be bothered by the calls. This was increasingly apparent today, as he was very rude on the phone and the sandwich did not come with any extra meat as requested and paid for. I have to say that this location has amazing Turkey subs. Normally I wouldn't spend a lot of time going to a chain place like this but I have to say that there Turkey sub with one the best I've ever had. Of course there are really great places to get a sandwich in Scottsdale and I could spend plenty of time reviewing all those places. But I have to say that I have to give this really great sub place credit for making me happy when I was really hungry with their wonderful Turkey sub. ok so like the chik fil a guy im a fly by night non-fast food eater and a random sub shop scares the buhjezus outta me since subway ruined food about 2 decades ago ... However, My experience at Jersey Mike's was a fantastic voyage ... First, me and Coolio walked up in the spot and it was a hip vibe with some smooth talkin jive turkeys behind the counter ... They were good people so i felt i was in good hands. I proceeded to order my sub but skipped the bread because the subway traumas left a deep wound in my soul ... So i opted for a wrap, same sandwich just a tortilla rather than the bread. Low carbers be wylin on them wraps ... Anyways. I ordered. We did it Mikes way. bada bing bada boom. if this review is any indication of the spectrum of emotion and fanaticism my tastebuds received, you know it was a good sub. typically id say i just gotta say it or the east coasters will bust me balls for days to come however in this case, Mike got it right. I can tell these ingredients were FRESh, not subway 'fresh' actually fresh and good quality because i was hooked from the first bite. So anyways me and coolio go walkin back to the lowrider afterwards because we gotta head to the local venue for a show so he can relive his 90's fame, but then the crowd moved outta the way when he went stage diving, so i gave him the other half of my wrap and like magic, he was up and at -em so we moved on with our day and headed to the ballet. The employee was touching the computer screen and money wearing gloves and then continued to make sandwiches afterwards and never put on a new pair of gloves. Fist I was pleasantly greeted by #1 Gary Nate whom had an amazing attitude and helped me get one my way to the flavor factory that is.. #2 Gary Randy was also assisting the positivity and I do have to add has some amazing hair! However, this location lost a star for the following reason. They close at 10pm, but DON'T go after 9:30 hoping for one of their signature hot, cheesesteak sandwiches. Tonight, for the second time, I arrived about 9:40 and the grill was obviously cleaned for the night. When I mentioned something about the energy they said "it's been a bad day", they were taking cash only so I can sympathize with that. The attitude I can't.
