Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap
Emma N.

I come through this location occasionally after yoga for their super refreshing drinks, but today I was feeling a chicken ceasar wrap. This location has a large parking lot and drive thru line, and a walk up window. It's usually nice and clean. I ordered at the drive thru, but I usually use the mobile app, which is super easy and convenient to use. The people working were nice and very fast. My wrap was delicious and hit the spot, plus I had leftovers for the next day! Definitely recommend this location

Ordered a bbq chicken wrap and it was filled with lettuce, avocado and beans with a few tortilla strips + dressing. That's it. Not 1 piece of chicken. If youre out of chicken, let me know and I'd be happy to get the tofu.

Just Romaine Core
Rose R.

My office has ordered twice...and they are zero-for-two for me. What do you do with the Romain leaves? Because I got half a bowl of just the white spines...which are hard and gross to crunch thru in the half romaine/lettuce mix. I also ordered Regular Ranch dressing and paid for a second dressing in BBQ ranch so I could try it to see if I like it. Well I got two BBQ and no actual ranch and discovered that I REALLY DO Not like the overly-sweet, pickle-flavored BBQ. So not I have a Romaine Core salad with no dressing. The Bacon...which I also paid extra for is either so rubbery I cant chew thru or the outer rind of something that is inedible too. The only positives are that the Egg is perfectly cooked and the Croutons are not hard as rocks...but spitting out nasty rubber bacon on every un-dressed bite has not made this a pleasant experience. Next time the boss says she's buying from Salad and Go, I will pass...bluuuck. The containers are nice, tho for bringing my own salad from home.

It feels suspiciously like a trick. Like maybe you round that corner and three guys steal your wallet. But trust the process... because apparently this little side quest unlocks some fantastic food. Everything we had was delicious. Even the freaking carrots were good. CARROTS. Crunchy, flavorful, properly cooked carrots that somehow had me voluntarily reaching for more vegetables instead of just tolerating them until the meat arrived. Speaking of meat... I got the bison meatloaf, and it was fantastic. Eating it made me feel like I'd wandered into a scene from Dances with Wolves. One minute I'm majestically riding across the plains alongside the buffalo, feeling connected to nature and contemplating man's relationship with the wilderness... the next minute I'm putting the buffalo in my mouth. Circle of life. My wife's salmon was excellent. My kid's steak was cooked perfectly. My sister got the chicken and liked it enough to take the leftovers home, which is really the ultimate restaurant compliment. Plenty of food tastes good at the table. Food that earns valuable refrigerator real estate has accomplished something. But the absolute star for me was the Old Fashioned. Perfectly made... and sitting there with a proper giant ROUND scube. Immediate bonus points. If you're serving an Old Fashioned over a bunch of sad little refrigerator cubes, we've already started our relationship on shaky ground. Oliver's understood the assignment. I ordered another. Then perhaps another. History gets slightly fuzzy, which is generally a sign that the Old Fashioneds were doing excellent work. The staff was also fantastic and happily made a few adjustments to menu items for our group without making it feel like we'd requested amendments to the Constitution. Great food, excellent drinks, accommodating staff, and vegetables somehow worth mentioning in a Yelp review. Highly recommend. Just remember... when the front door sends you around the corner, don't panic. You've been chosen for the quest.

We were a party of 12 visiting on vacation, and none of us are from the area. We ordered spam musubi and a chicken skewer as appetizers. Both appetizers arrived well after our entrees had already been served and we had essentially finished eating. Each time we asked about them, we were repeatedly told, "They're coming." Mind you, these are simple appetizers that should not take anywhere near that long to prepare. When we asked for the third time, we finally asked that the appetizers be cancelled since we had already finished our meal. At that point, the gentleman working the front area , tall, with red hair, loudly yelled from across the restaurant, in an extremely rude and confrontational tone, "It's already on the grill!" There was absolutely no reason to speak to paying customers that way. His response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly created a very hostile and uncomfortable feeling during what should have been an enjoyable dinner, especially while our group was on vacation and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. When the appetizers eventually came out, we left them sitting there because we were already done eating and ended up taking them to go. He eventually told us they would be removed from the bill, which we appreciated, but that did not excuse the way the situation was handled. Again, the food was good, but good food does not make up for poor service and especially not for an employee speaking to customers in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Management should seriously address how customers are treated, because the interaction with this particular employee overshadowed what could have otherwise been a good dining experience for our party of 12.

5/5 -- One of the Best Middle Eastern Meals I've Had in Years!…read more Kabizza was a fantastic find in North Tempe and easily one of the better Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in years. I ordered the kebab plate, while my mom ordered the chicken tikka plate. Both came with a generous portion of seasoned rice, hummus, pita and a very fresh side salad. My kebab was very good -- 4/5. The meat was cooked extremely well, with a great char on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside. I personally thought it could have used more seasoning to really make the flavor pop, but that's a relatively minor criticism. I'll definitely order it again because seasoning can sometimes vary depending on who is cooking that day. The chicken tikka, however, was absolutely perfect -- 5/5! The chicken had exactly what you want from grilled Middle Eastern food: a beautiful char on the exterior while remaining incredibly juicy and tender inside. I wouldn't change a thing about it. The sides were also 5/5 across the board. The rice, hummus and salad all tasted remarkably fresh. The hummus was smooth and creamy, and the salad had crisp vegetables that tasted like they had just been cut rather than sitting around waiting to be served. Everything on the plates worked together really well. The restaurant is located in a plaza that certainly isn't the fanciest or most upscale in N. Tempe, so don't judge this place by its surroundings. Inside, Kabizza is clean, comfortable and casual, and ultimately the quality of the food is what matters. I also thought the prices were reasonable considering both the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes. The gentleman who took our order was friendly, and our food came out surprisingly quickly. Kebab plate: 4/5 Chicken tikka plate: 5/5 Rice, hummus & salad: 5/5 Freshness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Overall experience: 5/5 Kabizza may be an unassuming neighborhood restaurant from the outside, but the food punches WAY above what you might expect from the location. I'll absolutely be back, and next time I want to explore more of the menu. Definitely worth trying if you're looking for fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced Middle Eastern food in Tempe!

And falafel was very nice with the right amount of spice and no greasy flavor. The reason only 3 stars? The staff was slow and at times non existent. We had asked for an extra plate and the guy disappeared never to be seen again. Well, until we left we saw him Nextdoor sitting at the smoke shop. Also the interior needs some work. Atmosphere not good here and the booths are definitely 2nd hand. I will certainly try again though, because there is so much more to enjoy on this menu and the food was good. Side note. If you get a plate dinner, it is plenty for 2!!

Beginners Luck is just that kind of place. Food 4.5/5 - I ordered the Crab and Shrimp Roll with fries. It was excellent and quite a portion. More than enough for a second meal. Loaded with shrimp and crab. I wasn't expecting a crab and shrimp salad but rather a mix of the two warm and buttered in the roll but it was very tasty as served. The only part that was a little off was the burned in brand on the roll the cold salad was served in. The charred flavor with the salad was a little off putting. I just pinched off the burnt bits from the bread. Excellent fries! Service 4/5 - I sat at the bar. Bartender was nice, offered regular menu and restaurant week menu as well. Meal was brought by manager, fries were still piping hot. Bartender and manager checked back to make sure meal was to my liking. Ambiance 5/5 - Cute place. A lot of nice outdoor seating and seating inside but a bit less. All in all a great place with a nice complement of offerings! I will return. Quite tasty! We just did apps: Fondue Blanc served with linguisa, pretzel bread and roasted cauliflower. The fondue was especially delicious with the cauliflower. We also had pimento cheese served with potato chips and chicharrones. I've only ever tasted grocery store made pimento cheese and was not a fan but when I tasted the pimento cheese at Beginner's Luck, I instantly became enamored. Totally enjoyed it with the chips. We arrived and were sat immediately. Shawn our server was very friendly and pleasant. We were never left waiting for service. The menu is pretty vast with many GF and V options. For starters, we ordered the KOREAN FRIED CAULIFLOWER $21 Radish sprouts, rainbow quinoa, snap peas, toasted sesame seeds, korean hot pepper sauce. Wish it was a little more crispy but full of flavor. We also ordered the PEAR + GORGONZOLA FLATBREAD $22. Vintage white cheddar, crisp fried sage, sage pesto. This is a thin crust pizza. The flavors worked well together. For dinner, I ordered the MARKET STREET SHORT RIB MINI TACOS $24 off the starter menus. Cojita, caramelized onions, cilantro crema, micro greens, spicy roasted corn and avocado salsa and black bean salsa. I was surprised at how much meat was in this taco. Super tasty.
