    #13 The Original Italian

Ordered #13, the "Original Italian" and it was delicious, however, later wasn't feeling that well. At the time I didn't know why, but the next day, shared the remaining half with my wife. Later, we were both feeling ill. Sorry Mike, but I think you did this to us .....

Freshness you can taste. I frequented this location many times and preferred it over what was being offered at the food court. It was clean. Staff were friendly. I'll miss this location. Thanks for keeping me fed without breaking my wallet!

My updated review. Ever since my first Jersey Mike's experience, it's gotten better and I think my choice in what I order improved. This is a sandwich place, get a sandwich! All of the sandwich's I've gotten are so good, glad I gave them a second, third and fourth chance. Each better than the last. Employees have all been super nice, helpful and the restaurant is really clean, everything seems fresh.

    Only a glass left:)

Today my first time when I tested a really delicious sandwich with fresh bread and all components. They have owns recipe. I recommend to try their kitchen. Thanks for your job. Good atmosphere and clean place.

The very first Jersey Mikes (called Mikes Sub's back then) started in Point Pleasant, New Jersey in 1956. Mike became known for recognizing his customers by name and remembering their favorite sandwich order. In 1975 Peter Cancro had worked at Jersey Mikes during his High School years. Upon hearing the business was for sale, he decided to buy Mikes Sub's at the age of 17. Today he is the owner and CEO of Jersey Mikes and oversees approximately 1,500 franchise locations. Every year during the month of March, Jersey Mikes believes in giving back to the community. They call it the Month of Giving, here's how it works. Customers are invited to come into Jersey Mikes during the month of March and donate to a local partner charity. Then on the last Wednesday of March, 100% of the day's sales are donated to the local partner charity. This year, 2017, they raised over $5.5 million to over 150 different charities across the nation. So extraordinary impressive! Very happy to discover they offer any type of sub in a wrap version and you get to choose what type of wrap; spinach, tomato or flour. Plus they have fresh delicious turkey and moist flavorful chicken, which puts me over the moon. This trip I ordered a turkey wrap (with avocado, cheese, lettuce and tomato) and this combination was terrific. Will return to try out all the different versions of wraps, yum!

NO! I don't like their subs, too much bread, the meats are processed, dressing tasteless. I definitely do not recommend this place

There are tipping options even though you're ordering and picking everything up yourself and even throwing away your own trash. The tipping culture is getting insane. I did have to ask the cook behind the counter what they recommended and to clarify a few menu items. I ordered the: *Triple Hashbrown Special Egglet: you can add extras, like bacon for $3.50 or ham for $2.00. I added ham, and the total came out to $16.15, which honestly feels high for what is basically a fast, casual breakfast spot. The eggs could've used more seasoning, there was no salt or pepper available at the counter, and the toast wasn't very crispy. The ham was nothing special, but the portion was large and could easily be split between two people. They do give a sauce to go with it, but it would've been nice to get two instead of one. *Cold Brew: it's decent, and you can add brown sugar for $0.75. Mine came out way too sweet, but they did give me extra cold brew to balance it out. Food came out in under five minutes. They have a self-serve station for condiments, napkins, and utensils. Staff were kind, and the place was very clean. Overall, service and speed were great, but walking out spending about $25 for a breakfast sandwich and coffee feels steep, even for California.

My husband…read moreand I have been slipping through this tiny doorway since our UCSD days in 1989, and somehow it never gets old. We still find ourselves here a few times a month, which is either devotion or fandom... possibly both. And if you know Phil, Dave -- even their dad, John-- then you are among a limited few. Yes, everything on the menu is excellent, but let's be real: the center-cut pork loin on sourdough with honey Dijon is the reason you came. They slow-cook the pork in-house, and you can taste every bit of that care -- tender, savory, just a little sweet, piled onto sourdough that knows exactly what it's doing. It's not just a sandwich; it's a San Diego rite of passage. Do yourself a favor and take it to go, wander down to La Jolla Shores, and eat it while staring at the Pacific like you're in your own personal travel commercial. And don't you dare leave without cookies. The chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies are quietly legendary -- crisp at the edges, chewy in the center, somehow nostalgic and brand-new at the same time. You think you'll just have "one," and then suddenly you're walking back in to buy more. Funny how that happens. If you've lived here awhile, this place feels like home. If you're visiting, this is the sandwich you'll be thinking about on the plane ride home.

This shop on Avenida De La Playa, which is the Main Street closed off from cars, so people can walk freely, but parking is a challenge. The cheese shop can't be missed, with the green ivy covered store front. It's standing round only, no seating inside but limited outside seating. You order from the counter and they bring your order to you if you decide to sit outside. I selected the popular sandwich: Turkey, Jack Cheese and Avocado on sourdough bread with every veggie: lettuce, tomato, red onion was all it had. Just baked from the oven were the famous oatmeal cookies in caramel and chocolate, looked so yummy I didn't order any but the guy behind the counter complementary gifted a pair to me, so nice, friendly and cool!! Inside the shop didn't appear clean, I would describe the ambiance as divey. Sat outside and shortly my order was presented nicely wrapped sandwich and warm cookies. Took pics and took a bite and my consensus is that I was not a fan of this sandwich because I really prefer smoked turkey and not plain turkey. The sandwich looked subpar, the layering of ingredients weren't assembled as aesthetically layered as it can be and tasted just ok. My pup usually doesn't like smoked turkey or unfresh meats but she liked this plain roast turkey, which means it's more likely fresh and pass her approval. She also ate the contents of the sandwich sans the bread and onions of course. The oatmeal cookies were a real treat and lived up to the hype, kind of gooey, yummy and good for you...hence oats is fiber! As a cheese aficionado, this shop is not really a cheese shop with no abundant cheese selections. The shop should just be named sandwich shop, since sandwiches and candies seem to be their cash cows. If you're looking for a cheese shop, this isn't the place, but it might the place for a sandwich. Recommend
