This Lauren .

I have gone here. Few time since I'm now living in the area .their food is subpar at best ! However it was there so decided to give it another shot. I order my normal sub and asked for theories amount of avocado the employee making my sub had no problem adding the correct amount ! Didn't ask for extra but 3 (1/2 ) slices or brown avocado isn't the full portion she had no problem fixing the issue this is the young lady on the right ! Lauren then came taking the. Avocado off my sandwich and stated this is the portion you are getting ! I walked out I'm sure she ate the sandwich or maybe they put all the items back after them being on a sandwich . Lauren will do a huge disservice to the sandwich shop ! She isn't equipped to be in customer service one her attitude, hygiene, ext ! I will also be reporting to health dept. I will try and send owner a message as well to notify them of the mistake they made by having Lauren represent their business. A photo will be posted there is always a Lauren everywhere you go it's unfortunate however these shop owners need to do their due diligence prior to hiring filthy people like Lauren to be the represent their establishment ..

I love this place very much because the sandwiches here are the most delicious in town, the service was amazing, the ambiance was really neat, and I also enjoyed listening to the music, too!

Sometimes you just need a big sandwich with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper on it. I remember loving this place when I was a teen. Im really glad they're in this strip mall. I like to visit Tuesday Morning, so this place is nearby. The service was friendly and the place was really clean, like brand spanking new! I got a sub and substituted the special bacon in, was it jalapeno bacon? In any case, my sandwich was good!

I had no idea these were still around. This place is dope. Split a big foot Peppered Turkey, more than enough to keep me satiated til dinner. The service was smooth and easy, the place was clean and well kept, and the subs were made with quality ingredients - no brown avocados or questionable sprouts here. Will definitely be back.

Honestly, this has got to be my new favorite chain sandwich shop in San Diego. I ordered the Cali sandwich which comes with lettuce, tomato, bacon, provolone cheese, and avocado. The bread had a really nice texture and cheesiness to it that wasn't overpowering. Flavor was great albeit everything is a little bit expensive. Almost definitely be coming back and trying some of the other sandwiches and I definitely have to try their macaroni salad as I'm a big fan

There are tipping options even though you're ordering and picking everything up yourself and even throwing away your own trash. The tipping culture is getting insane. I did have to ask the cook behind the counter what they recommended and to clarify a few menu items. I ordered the: *Triple Hashbrown Special Egglet: you can add extras, like bacon for $3.50 or ham for $2.00. I added ham, and the total came out to $16.15, which honestly feels high for what is basically a fast, casual breakfast spot. The eggs could've used more seasoning, there was no salt or pepper available at the counter, and the toast wasn't very crispy. The ham was nothing special, but the portion was large and could easily be split between two people. They do give a sauce to go with it, but it would've been nice to get two instead of one. *Cold Brew: it's decent, and you can add brown sugar for $0.75. Mine came out way too sweet, but they did give me extra cold brew to balance it out. Food came out in under five minutes. They have a self-serve station for condiments, napkins, and utensils. Staff were kind, and the place was very clean. Overall, service and speed were great, but walking out spending about $25 for a breakfast sandwich and coffee feels steep, even for California.

The ordering system is super fun and lets you customize your sandwich exactly how you want it--perfect if you're picky like me. The sandwich itself? Incredible. Fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and generous portions of high-quality meat. You can really taste the difference. I also appreciated how many options they have, whether you're going classic, low-carb, or all-out indulgent. The staff was friendly, fast, and made sure everything came out just right. It's rare to find a place that nails both quality and service like this. If you're looking for a consistently delicious, customizable sandwich experience, Which Wich is definitely a go-to. You start by grabbing a brown bag at the front, then use the sharpies to fill out your sandwich choices and toppings. After that, you move to the cashier. I opted for a regular black bean patty and loaded it up with hummus and veggies. It's nice how you can take your time to customize your sandwich and see all the options laid out in front of you. The process feels interactive and less rushed. The sandwich was great! Light and fresh without the heaviness of meat and cheese. I finished the whole thing and felt great. The service was friendly and quick. I'll be back when I'm craving a sandwich!

My husband…read moreand I have been slipping through this tiny doorway since our UCSD days in 1989, and somehow it never gets old. We still find ourselves here a few times a month, which is either devotion or fandom... possibly both. And if you know Phil, Dave -- even their dad, John-- then you are among a limited few. Yes, everything on the menu is excellent, but let's be real: the center-cut pork loin on sourdough with honey Dijon is the reason you came. They slow-cook the pork in-house, and you can taste every bit of that care -- tender, savory, just a little sweet, piled onto sourdough that knows exactly what it's doing. It's not just a sandwich; it's a San Diego rite of passage. Do yourself a favor and take it to go, wander down to La Jolla Shores, and eat it while staring at the Pacific like you're in your own personal travel commercial. And don't you dare leave without cookies. The chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies are quietly legendary -- crisp at the edges, chewy in the center, somehow nostalgic and brand-new at the same time. You think you'll just have "one," and then suddenly you're walking back in to buy more. Funny how that happens. If you've lived here awhile, this place feels like home. If you're visiting, this is the sandwich you'll be thinking about on the plane ride home.

This shop on Avenida De La Playa, which is the Main Street closed off from cars, so people can walk freely, but parking is a challenge. The cheese shop can't be missed, with the green ivy covered store front. It's standing round only, no seating inside but limited outside seating. You order from the counter and they bring your order to you if you decide to sit outside. I selected the popular sandwich: Turkey, Jack Cheese and Avocado on sourdough bread with every veggie: lettuce, tomato, red onion was all it had. Just baked from the oven were the famous oatmeal cookies in caramel and chocolate, looked so yummy I didn't order any but the guy behind the counter complementary gifted a pair to me, so nice, friendly and cool!! Inside the shop didn't appear clean, I would describe the ambiance as divey. Sat outside and shortly my order was presented nicely wrapped sandwich and warm cookies. Took pics and took a bite and my consensus is that I was not a fan of this sandwich because I really prefer smoked turkey and not plain turkey. The sandwich looked subpar, the layering of ingredients weren't assembled as aesthetically layered as it can be and tasted just ok. My pup usually doesn't like smoked turkey or unfresh meats but she liked this plain roast turkey, which means it's more likely fresh and pass her approval. She also ate the contents of the sandwich sans the bread and onions of course. The oatmeal cookies were a real treat and lived up to the hype, kind of gooey, yummy and good for you...hence oats is fiber! As a cheese aficionado, this shop is not really a cheese shop with no abundant cheese selections. The shop should just be named sandwich shop, since sandwiches and candies seem to be their cash cows. If you're looking for a cheese shop, this isn't the place, but it might the place for a sandwich. Recommend
