It took a while for the employee at the register to take my order because he was already busy helping another customer. When he got to me, it took a while for my sandwich to come out as well. They weren't extremely busy but the "now hiring" sign outside shows that they could use more hands on deck. With that said, this was just an observation and not a complaint. The service was good and the food was delicious! I believe I ordered The Original Italian sandwich (regular) on Rosemary Parmesan Bread (highly recommend). Although their sandwiches are pretty pricey, the taste and freshness justifies its price. The rosemary parmesan is literally sprinkled onto the bread so you can definitely get the flavor and tr texture out of it. If you're trying to watch your budget, come here sparingly but at least try Jersey Mike's at least once, with the rosemary parmesan bread too. read more

I've been a regular at this location for a VERY long time, the employees know me by name and immediately know my order, and my favorite employee, Jasmine, has been gone from what the employees told me to serve our country, God bless her soul and thank her for her service, but I am SADDENED by her departure. All the other employees like the guy with the clear gucci glasses is gone from what I've heard, and he made a regular philly cheesesteak like no other. Thank god Alex and Emily are still here, very nice young employees. The bread was just plain. No flavor to the meat or cheese. There was a grill so I expected the meat was maybe grilled, nope. Three handfuls of lettuce everyone said stop on the lettuce cause it was too much. The competitors are way better. There was nothing to be impressed about. It was just nothing. No reason to return. I will say that this is by far a superior place to get a hoagie, grinder, sub, or sandwich. Not sure where you from or what you want to call it but it all comes to deliciousness. I have been to many Jersey Mikes and the consistency of good service remains the same at all. I know it is kind of hard to mess up something that is made in front of you by your requirements. The quality of the food and cuts of meat have always been good and when getting a hot sub like a Big Kahuna (my fave) the taste is always consistent and good. I usually only go with the Big Kahuna or the Italian but I am sure all their products are just as good. If you have not, I will say sign up for their rewards program. I grew up in the north east and I live in Southern California. The first thing that I noticed after moving to So. cal was the lack of good subs and hoagies. I spent years trying to like Quiznos, Subway and Togos and it never seemed to match up to the great sub shops that I had back east. I travel to San Antonio and saw this place and tried the Italian Sub. It was good. I found myself thinking about it when I went back to Los Angeles and thought I might be able to doctor up a subway. I was so disappointed and on my next trip to San Antonio, I ate at Jersey Mike's Subs two time. It was during this trip where I stopped right after I landed and realized that the food transforms me to another place and time. As I ate, I found myself thinking about my teenage years when Mom would occasionally pick up subs and pizza and I knew it was not necessarily a special occasion but a special day. I realized, if the food of Jersey Mike's was taking me there, it tasted authentic, something i wasn't able to get frmo Quizno's Togos and Subway. I look forward to going back there! read more

First off my hubby is from the Northeast. His best friend was from Jersey so he is very very picky about his sub and his steak sub. I had real Jersey subs just a time or two. I can't tell you the number of shops where we have tried the subs only to have him be disappointed. I grew up on Northeast subs but not quite Jersey style. Jersey's was a good, quality place, but now they short-change you on everything. I wanted a Philly cheese steak, but all I got was steak. The steak tasted fine, but it's not a Philly cheese steak without the bell peppers, onions, and cheese. I also ordered a whole wheat roll but didn't get. I took it to go, but I didn't check the sub because I thought Jersey won't screw up such a simple sub. Boy, was I wrong. I guess many restaurants are trying to save money by ripping off to-go customers. This tells me not to go Jersey Mike's again. Besides, $11 is to much to pay for a sub I didn't order. The sub I had here was very good. Not jersey-ish but very good. I love that they slice the meat in front of you but they should put more meat on the sub, especially for the price. The lines can get long. And they way it's set up you hurt will be right in front of people sitting at the tables. It's a strip mall so it's about the only setup they can do. I received an email offer for a free birthday sub and drink from Jersey Mike's thought I would give it another chance after my last visit. I have to say that service was top notch. All of the staff members were working hard to complete everyone's orders today during the lunch rush and they were very friendly and cordial. The restaurant is clean and reminds me very much of Jimmy Johns. You place your order at the counter and they make your sandwich right then and there. I found out that if you order something Mike's way that means lettuce, tomato, onions, red wine vinegar, olive oil and spices - sounds good to me! I ordered the Philly cheesesteak again and this time it was much better than last time. The cheese was nicely melted and the meat, peppers and onions together were a nice combination. The bread has nice flavor but I do wish they had toasted it more. My boyfriend ordered the big kahuna (basically a Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms and jalapenos) and said it was very good. I noticed that they slice all of the deli meats to order which is nice and you can join their rewards club to earn free sandwiches. Given our positive experience I would definitely be wiling to try them again.
