I love this place! I may be biased that it's right across the street from my house...but who cares. My husband and I have lunch here every Friday and the sandwich is always done correctly, sometimes earlier than I requested (we order ahead online) and the staff is so great. They are always upbeat and helpful and you can't leave without a smile on your face. Yes, I know, it's a chain....but it's delicious, the price is right, and the people make me want to keep coming back. It is a cramped space, especially if you're picking up an online order because you're in the way of the people getting their drinks and paying, but it's just an awkward minute or two. I try to only write positive reviews but just can't for this location. Food there is fine as it is a chain but as is pointed out in several other reviews the staff is short. I've heard an employee who I believe to be the manager, Shane or Sean, use profanity on several occasions. I'll be visiting the one just up the road going forward. read more

Our sandwiches were okay, we come here occasionally. My complaint today is the young punks hanging around inside the establishment and interrupting the workers. They appeared to be acquaintances and thought their heckling and interaction was hilarious. They were yelling over customers trying to place orders. There didn't seem to be a mature manager on site. I go to this location at least 3 times a week. Always friendly, always quality product. I have been to almost every JM's in the area, and this one is one of the best. Clean, well run, and even in lunch rush, they make a great effort to get you out the door, and back to work. So I had a BOGOF coupon for this new(ish) location that was to expire at the end of the week. Sure, I'll give it a try! After running a few local errands, I pop in (around 2:30pm) to grab a few subs to bring home with me. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, for some reason I was expecting sterile subway tile, linoleum and formica. Instead, it was pretty warm and inviting...I briefly considered staying and eating in. Now, I grew up in NJ, and although I have now lived in CA for at least as long as I did there, I am still somewhat of a Jersey Girl at heart - especially when it comes to sub sandwiches. For a franchise/chain, Jersey Mike's does a pretty good version of a New Jersey style sub. White, Italian bread - check. Provolone??? Cappacuolo??? check, check. Thinly shredded lettuce, with sliced tomato and onion - check. "Real" Italian dressing - you know, red wine vinegar, oil, and Italian Seasonings sprinkled (separately) on top of it all - oh yeah, check. and mate. The employees here were all friendly and personable. The guy making my sub asked me how my day was going - and actually looked at me, waiting for a response! hmmmm. Needed to come in last min for my family. Since they wanted a good dinner, got a number 13 and a pastrami. Conner made them real quick with style and played good music. Iam a big fan food is great but service was lacking. I ordered a pickup order but when I got there it wasn't ready they said. They were busy they had 6 people also in line as well as 4 people waiting in the regular order line. Turns out the people in the regular Line all got served before any of people who were in the pick up area. Super disappointing. We called an order in ahead to pick up. Asked for a sandwich Mike's way, and a Cheesesteak wrap with lettuce on it. Got home to find that the sandwich was not done Mike's way, rather was just some turkey and cheese on dry bread. Who eats a sandwich like that?? The Cheesesteak wrap was a sad sight, just some meat and melted cheese in a sloppily put together wrap, and no lettuce as requested. We tried calling the restaurant no less than six times once we got home, but no answer any time. Granted it was 1245 on a Sunday afternoon, but I hardly think being busy is an excuse not to answer your phone. Are you ignoring incoming phone orders when the restaurant is busy? We order from this location and the Scripps Ranch location frequently, so we are not new to the menu or what to expect, but this was our worst experience so far with Jersey Mike's. read more

I went in shortly after they open an ask to make me a sandwich that I can travel in my car with. Drew was helping me and he said he didn't think he could make that happen? I said "well just do it the way you want to do it and it will work". Drew went to making my sandwich....his way! Then he asked if I wanted it wet? I said geez Drew, how my going to travel with that?! Sometimes I can be so addicted to this place. Their bread is always fresh! The tuna, #13 original Italian, turkey club, are my favorites. There's something about walking into the store smelling the onions, the dressing and the Italian herbs, watching them cut the meat and prepare the sub to absolute perfection. My brother came in to get some sandwiches and he c pu old barely get in to door because one of the employees parked his motorcycle right in front of the door!! And when my brother walked up the employee who owns the bike wouldn't let my brother get a word in and just bragged about his motorcycle he had parked in front of the door! It's a basic sandwich place. I ordered a large BLT and a large turkey and it ended up setting me back nearly THIRTY BUCKS. For TWO sandwiches? These aren't particularly loaded with meat. I have a had my order messed up several times at this location. I contacted customer service and within 24 hours the marketing rep reached out to me. This place used to be really busy when it first opened because it was SO needed in this area, but I'm happy to report its now much quicker and less crowded. The people who work here are very personable and make great conversation. They take your order early and they run it like a well oiled machine. My husband and daughter went to pick up dinner tonight. They said it was painfully slow for and order of 3 sandwiches. Then they get home and the bread on the 2 wheat was so stale and hard I could have made bread crumbs from it. Not sure why I even gave it two stars.
