I ordered the "stagestop" which is a sliced roasted chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce, onion and barbecue sauce sandwich served on a braided scali roll. It was great! Not too big and not too small either made with quality ingredients. The sauce tasted homemade and not really like barbecue but I really enjoyed it! My husband ordered the "pilgrim" and raved about how much he loved the bread. I would definitely order from here again if I'm ever back in the area! :)

However, their subs at the deli have gone downhill at neck breaking speeds. I picked up two Tom Turkey subs for myself and a co-worker on my lunch break, got back to work, and unwrapped them. What we got instead were two subs, completely overflowing with stuffing, and 2 little thin cuts of turkey resting on top. Oh yeah, and it DID have a snail trail portion of cranberry sauce, buried under the box of Stouffers stove top. If you're looking for a gobbler sub. I'd stay clear from this one....unless wet soggy seasoned bread, stuffed into yet more bread is your thing.

Definitely some of my favorite sausage links in the area. Unfortunately it was difficult to get our server's attention and before you could mention all of the things you were looking for she had walked away. Our party was a set of silverware short and the server was all apologies and quickly addressed that. We had also hoped to ask for drink refills and hot sauce but did not get a chance. After our card was run, we discovered that there's a credit card fee. We had not seen it anywhere on the menu, bill, or table. Upon leaving we did see a small sign near the entrance but that can easily be missed in a small & busy entryway. I understand why restaurants have to charge these fees but I do not like when they're not forthcoming about it.

When I walked in, he seemed annoyed to be getting business. Then when I asked a question, he treated me as if I was stupid, and not as if I am a customer. I was able to get over that, but when I pay with Apply Pay, he grabs my phone and decides to tip himself without consulting me about it first. Another time, he tried to gossip to me about how the students which go to Silver Lake are annoying. I cannot return with that man there, as he has taken money from me and disrespected me along with other customers. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I strongly encourage you to go to Nino's; just beware of the cashier.

7 years later I'm here to update ...we are still getting our Bagels every Sunday at Gunther's in…read morePembroke. We have learned the secret is to NOT eat in. We buy 2 or 6 depending upon who is at home and bring them home to toast ourselves. They're always Fresh and delish. ONE ISSUE (it's a biggie for me) WHY PUT THE FRENCH TOAST BAGELS in a bin NEXT to EVERYTHING BAGELS?? About 50% of the time my French Toast Bagel has some SAVORY taste on one side and some sesame seeds/poppy seeds. Not a good flavour. They DO separate them into plastic bags when we purchase them so they are not together BUT THE EVERYTHING BAGEL needs to be put next to a savory bagel not a sweet one in their Bins in the Store. IT IS A BAD TASTE. I am sure this will go nowhere but I had to say it. They are FRESH & DELISH 99% of the time. Now if I could just get the poppy seeds /sesame off of my French Toast or Cinnamon bagel it would be 101%. Now I'm hungry for a Bagel !!

I initially ordered a sandwich and coffee but then went to order an additional bagel to take with me to a family member. Ordered the bagel and sat inside eating my sandwich while waiting for the bagel. Approx 15 mins passed and bagel was not there so I asked cashier who then asked, I believe, the owner to make the bagel as I had not yet received it. He said this is why you shouldn't come 30 mins after ordering and then visibly angry, slapped together another bagel. I was so taken aback by the angry attitude I did not know what to say. I feel bad for the employees who have to work with this owner as he appears to be an irritable and disrespectful person towards both customers and the employees. Unfortunate that a place that was once great to go to is now such a poor environment to be in.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, nobody was at the hostess station for a few moments. We waited in line and told the hostess we had a reservation. She seemed overwhelmed and short tempered. She told us to take the table on the to-go side where the line was backed up to because they did not in fact even reserve anything for us. That table is clearly not part of the dining room and more for people waiting for their to-go orders. My wife asked if we could get a table in the dining room which we had a reservation for and was told by the hostess it's over an hour wait. Why take a reservation and not actually prepare to have that table held at the time when the reservation is for? The hostess was rude and non apologetic at all.
