So after watching YouTube seeing everyone eating Jersey Mike's subs, I had to see what was goings on!!! When we walked in there weren't many people so the line moved quickly. I thought it was like Subway, but not really. Nope!! They slice the meat when you order... Wowzers!!! Now they do have toppings but it's not as many as some places. But that was fine. The subs also aren't toasted, there's no toaster oven, so don't ask. They'll look at you weird... Lol. The guy making the sandwiches was very patient and polite. He answered all my questions and was friendly. I got the #9 which is turkey and roast beef on the rosemary parmesan bread, Mike's way. The sandwiches are a nice portion. Half a sub is filling. I'm glad I got the oil and vinegar, it made the sandwich pop. The toppings seemed fresh, and the bread was soft. Also the bacon was crispy unlike some of the flimsy bacon I've seen at other places... Pretty good sub!! Very tasty. Those are the pros. The cons are if you get oil and vinegar leftovers aren't a good option, your bread will breakdown. Otherwise everything is all good. I got a cookie and a brownie which had great prices. Like $2.50 for the brownies and $1.65 for the cookies. The brownies look dry, but believe me they're moist inside. The cookie was tasty and hit the spot. I should have got 2 of each, but I'm trying to unbig my back!! Everything was like $16 and was worth it... I've been sleeping on Jersey Mike's. So I made an order in store and had to leave before I could pick it up due to a time conflict. I was worried they would throw away my sandwich. But after my thing I went back, they not only had it waiting for me, it was made just as I asked. Further, a generous employee promised me a refund on my next sandwich, and sure enough when I came back again he was working there and made good on that. I thought that was very generous because it wasn't his fault I had to leave! As far as the ambiance goes the store was clean both times. I might add the others really listened as I took my order. I don't get the bad reviews. I come here probably once a week for a year or two now and never have a problem with the quality or the service. The only thing keeping them from that last star is the price, but that seems to be a trend in the food industry and not just Jersey Mike's. read more

I went to Jersey Mike's tonight to get a #17 no onions, light Mayo, lettuce and tomato added. As you can see in the picture this is not what I got back in return. The moment I walked into the store, the shift lead had an attitude.. no one wrote down my order or asked if I wanted anything else. Very unprofessional customer service and the tables were dirty/not wiped down. I understand how it is working at a franchise like this, but rude customer service isn't it. I called to speak to the manager, but they will not be in store until tomorrow morning. This type of customer service shouldn't be tolerated, especially when you're the face of the store. The amount of mayo on my sandwich made my whole apartment smell bad. I do not recommend coming to this location.. such a waste of money. read more

"Order online, skip the line".. Total crap. I ordered online and was supposed to be ready at 1:06. The people just walking in were getting they're food before me. order my food on mobile app, it say about 20mins ok cool then the time change, ok cool . when the order said 5 mins away, I clocked on break bc my job you need a badge to get in so i called driver and told him i would meet him outside. Driver says he not even close to me, and will call me when he is closer. at this point I'm a little confused bc the app said 5 mins after 5 i call the store, they say we cant help you sorry its a 3rd party, i say ok and call driver back and ask how long so i can clock out for another break when he is close. he says idk i have to put you in gps after i drop off my first order. fine. 10 mins later he calls and says he 8 mins but prob take him 5/6 at this point . There is no lunch to many breaks ill have to wait. So i call jersey mikes ask for refund, thinking no problem we talked to you earlier, Nope. the kid on the phone talking in circles so i said IM at WORK, he said me too, but the difference is, this is YOUR jobnit mine, so i decided to just take the sandwhich back which my manger is even like yes take it back. I get there and tired of back and forth and like I just want a refund. The "manager" says NO, i told him my break is over, and the bag wasnt closed properly, he says thats the risk you take when ordering online, excuse me? So I asked him again whats the point in going back and forth with me instead of just giving me MY money back. I want the answer to that question with an apology and my money back. Since when do you speak to people who choose to patronize your business like we aint nothing and tell me. he is not giving me money back. Oh and apparently MEGAN he says is the GM and "she loves me" from what he said there must be truth to it cause i dont know her or him, but I know his actions today were appailing and because i wanted a refund. the risk you take is having customers wanting a refund, when i say he was so nasty with me about it. Cannot give another star on this location yet, but the owner and manager responded to my review quickly and gave us free subs. I will return to get those subs and see if the employees have improved their attitudes, but in the meantime at least I am grateful that my complaint was taken seriously. read more

It is always something with this store.....my company orders from here weekly and half of the time they mess the order up. I always just order meat and cheese which should be very easy to make but they often put onions and peppers on there so I can't eat that day. This time, they didn't even make my sandwich at all, which is not the first time, and when I called trying to get the situation taken care of, I was very unsatisfied with the result. Kids eat free on Sundays! We came in on a Sunday evening and at first it was a ghost town. I was waiting for the rest of my group but the crew behind the counter had a lot of personality and was talking with me. I ordered mine since I was ordering a sandwich I knew they had to cook (philly cheese) but waited for the rest of my crew. In the meantime another couple came in and I stepped back and let them order. For some reason everything at this point took FOORREEEVER. I had to step back up to the counter (at 7:21) to even be acknowledged a second time but I got the rest of the food ordered. In between the time that i ordered the rest of our food... it was ready at 7:37. I'm not sure what in the world took SO long, but I guess it's just that the people I let in front of us had complicated orders or something. It was a bit excessive though. Anyway the food was pretty good. Kids portions were a little small but they were free. Both of our adult subs were quite good though I'd probably not recommend wheat bread with a philly cheese. I frequent Jersey Mike's at least once a week, if not more because it is my favorite sandwich stop. I came to this location and had an awful experience. The workers were texting and told me to wait a minute. Four workers were just sitting around so it took a few minutes to acknowledge me. Then I ordered a sandwich without red wine vinegar (I have severe acid reflux and can't go near it). Sure enough, vinegar was added all over it. I stopped the worker and she just wiped off the lettuce, then accidentally added the vinegar AGAIN! Then she wiped that lettuce off again and added so much oil that it made the sandwich entirely too greasy and soggy. The sandwich still tasted like it was drenched in the vinegar. Not a typical Jersey Mike's experience. Even though I just moved nearby, I'll drive the extra few minutes to a better location. read more

They sent out a email for 50% off any sub and free delivery. Once you order it the app says pick up only AFTER YOU ALREADY PAID !!! Total scam. Never eat there a again. Way to help people out in this terrible time. WOW I just called back cuz they charged my card. Asked why send out that ad if they are not doing it. Manager said that is the marketing department and they know nothing about it. Said I was the 3rd call today. What a TERRIBLE Business practice A day later STILL dealing with this. They only refunded me the cost and NOT the $4 tip. So they get a tip on an order never made or received. This sub shop always treats me good every time that I come here. I always have a coupon for buy one, get one or 1 dollar off my subs! I don't always like my subs traditional- meaning with bread, which is great because they have something called sub-in-a-tub which is any type of sub placed on a bed of lettuce. Sort of like a burger with no bun. Get it? Try the albacore tuna or the philly steak. The service is quick and efficient even when busy. read more

On the 13th, I ended up ordering two Original Italians for a coworker and myself, with some varying ingredients. Ordered and paid online. The food was made precisely at the time it stated on the receipt. I normally order all my subs toasted, since the idea of cold meat, cold cheese, cold lettuce, and other various cold items on lukewarm bread just doesn't sound very appealing to me. I was informed upon arriving there to pick up my items that they do not toast subs, as it is a "health code violation". That is a dealbreaker for me, and had I not paid online, I would have had no problem leaving empty-handed. The subs fell apart very easily (bread spine is thin), had way too much lettuce, and tasted mediocre and lifeless. As far as subs go, this place should be your measuring stick. I have literally been there 30+ times over the last two years. The bread is always perfect and the ingredients always seem fresh. I have had nearly every sandwich they make and have loved them all. The staff is always friendly and engaging. (even at the end of their shift when you know they are tired and just want to go home) The portion sizes are great and you get what you pay for. I tell everyone to go there at least once and decide for themselves. It is amazing that they are a large chain and blow places like Firehouse and Zero's out of the water...no pun intended... I am reviewing this one because this and the North Hampton ones are on the way home and get most of my attention. The Chesapeake Square, and College Ave are equally as good. They just have consistent great subs no matter where you go. Love them! read more

My family and I had best experience. Be being a native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania it's really hard to be a critic when you used to hoagies from the big city but once I had Jersey Mike's in Norfolk Virginia with it was almost like I was home. Torrey Fields was purely the best GM that I have encountered that talk to you and give you good advice on what's good and or what kind of subs are offerd I appreciate his hospitality in his store and he does an awesome job. He didn't mind jumping in helping his staff when needed and even after we finished our meal he came and asked us how was our meal. I ordered turkey and ham sub. Which I was unable to finish. I frequent the Jersey Mike's on Military Rd and have never had a bad experience until today, the customer service that I received was terrible. I placed an order on the app and added on some items as well as requested that they substitute the provolone cheese for swiss cheese. When I got home and after eating part of the sub I realized that I didn't have any of the items that I requested. I called the store and was told I would have return the sub to the store and he would fix it. I told him that I was already at home and I wasn't going back to the store. He said then I can't do anything for you. I asked to speak to the manager, he said the manager was not there and that he was going to tell me the same thing. I then told him that I would be posting this on social media and he said it doesn't matter it's not going to help you. He then said mistakes are made every. First of all I go out as little as possible and I'm not about to let anyone handle my food twice. I was appalled by his poor customer service skills. The only real problem I had was a cheesesteak that was wrapped to go. When I got home, the cheese was stuck to the paper and I had to scrape it off. It might be better to just put the cheese on the roll then add the hot steak on top of the cheese. Otherwise, a very good sandwich! read more

I called and ordered a pastrami sub and said no sauce, but after i picked it up and drove all the way back to work and went to eat it there was sauce So I called them and they were just like, well bring it back and we will make you another one So I had to drive all the way back, which by the way meant I lost a half hour of pay. Then I watched them start to make me another one and go to put it in a small sub and I was like I had a large. Then the guy grabs another half of bread and starts to spread the meat from the one sandwich to the other. Then they wrap it and hand it to me I'm like oh hell no I want my money back.
