This is average jersey Mike's. Food is good , quite expensive but it is good quality. Nice and clean inside , I usually take it to go. Customer service is nice. Plenty of parking, it's in a strip mall. The thing is that sometimes they take super long and it lags but no other complaints.

I just recently celebrated my birthday here in the private room and the staff were really attentive and helpful. I finally got to try their pizza and it was definitely delicious. Top drinks to try: yuzu lemon drop (sooo good), paper planes, and the cucumber smash! Appetizers: Mac n cheese balls are always a crowd pleaser and Brussel sprouts were my favorite. Mains: the chicken scallopini, the sand dabs!!! So good, and the beef short ribs!

Starting with the good... Ambience - Cozy and inviting. Service -- Warm, friendly and attentive. We were quite impressed with everyone who took care of our dining experience starting with the hostess, to our sweet server Danielle, the food runner and to the exceptional busser who kept our table cleared, water glasses filled, then packaged our leftovers. Kudos to Freda's for this. The Focaccia Rustico -- This was the best part of our meal. It came out freshly baked and so satisfyingly delicious as we dipped in the small bowl of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Portions - Generous. Parking - Lots of options nearby and free. The disappointments...(see pics) Food delivery - There was a long wait during our visit. We overheard a waitress tell a table who arrived after us that the kitchen was backed up. Gnocchi -- This did not look like the picture on their website. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked but was barely covered with sauce. My husband initially thought that they served me Mac n' Cheese by mistake. I could not taste the sun-dried tomato at all. The added shrimp was seared on only one side and was severely under seasoned. Then as we drove home, I notice that the price we were charged ($25+$9 (shrimp)=$34) did not match the menu or the website that noted $24+$8=$32. This overcharge was minor but added to the overall disappointment. Braised Short Rib - This was closer to the website but with far less au jus. The carrots were terrible. They were not roasted, tasted boiled and had a rubbery texture. The short rib was fork tender but very salty. The mashed potatoes were good. We skipped dessert. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Stupid good. Bread's legit, meat's piled up like they're trying to protect you from starvation trauma, and everything tastes fresh like somebody's nonna is in the back judging your life choices. One bite and you're like... yeah ok, I get why people act feral about this place. But the line? Chaos. Not "organized deli line," more like "everyone just kinda vibes near the counter and hopes they get noticed." You'll see one dude who's been standing there 8 minutes pretending he's fine but he's clearly spiraling. And there's always someone ordering like it's their last meal: "Can I do the #7 but no onions, extra peppers, sauce on the side, cut it like triangles, and tell it I'm proud of it?" Relax, it's a sandwich, not a therapy session. Prices aren't cheap, but neither is happiness, so whatever. Overall: 4.5/5. The sandwich portions are hefty and they are well loaded. We felt like we got our money's worth in freshness and quantity. The veggie sandwich was a bit bland and needed a better balance of ingredients. But the chicken parmigiana sandwiches were packed with flavor, as was the Italian cold cut sandwich. My recommendation for this place would be to improve on the quality of the bread they use as it lacks flavor or richness. Put those ingredients on real sourdough bread or focaccia and it would be a very memorable sandwich. To the owner: we visited your lovely home town, as mentioned in your business profile, while we were in Rome a few years ago and had the most unforgettable pizzette rosse while there. Beautiful lake scenery and weather. Interesting coincidence : )

I came here to try out California Bun, an eatery that has harnessed an interesting (long overdue) concept, to package portable food. Here they prepare snack sized bites (or a little more) of favorite food fancies, enveloped in a daily fresh baked round brioche bun. The store is high ceiling, spacious and large, with ample space to dine in or carry out. It is a mom and pop joint, that is slowly but surely, beginning to make a mark. On the main wall, elegantly displayed, are all the many enticing varieties, for the day. My visit was designed to take something to go. The conundrum here is, what to order, because there were so many inviting choices that were talking to you. I finally decided to select three of these evenly browned and differently topped buns. The El Sabroso (Egg, cheddar & jack cheese, bacon & Jalapeno salsa, garnished with Cheese, bacon & jalapeño). The Roadside Burger (Seasoned ground beef, grilled onions, white American cheese, & secret house burger sauce, garnished with Cheese & bacon). The Mac Daddy (Creamy mac and cheese with a cheddar, jack, and parmesan cheese blend, garnished with Panko bread crumbs). So whats the verdict? The Mac Daddy was my least favorite. In comparing the other two, the Roadside Burger seemed to have the higher of (inside filling/inside bread) ratio, as compared to the El Sabroso. However, the latter is the most attractive bun on the outside and overall, contains a good mix of flavors and slight kick. Any food with a visible Jalapeño is a magnet, for me. Still, this concoction needs more of the egg mixture, to achieve the right balance. In general, all 3 buns were soft, had a nice texture, bread taste and chew. Service here is warm, inviting, friendly and informative.

Most places serve it in a paper cup where the espresso and gelato just blend into a mushy mess. Not here. Carrara's presents it beautifully on a stone tray, with a proper espresso cup and a transparent glass so you can actually see the layers of gelato and espresso. The Modern Greek Salad is sooo good, with or without chicken. Update regarding gluten-free options:…read more I honestly wouldn't be lowering my rating if Luna Grill corporate and the restaurants had really thought through this situation better. I've always loved Luna Grill, and that's what makes this so frustrating. They recently started using pita chips in the fryer, which means several items that were previously considered gluten free can no longer safely be flagged as gluten free because of cross-contact. For people with gluten allergies, sensitivities, or celiac disease, that's not a small change. It removes a lot of safe options from the menu. The sad part is that this feels completely avoidable. Pita chips could be purchased separately, fried somewhere else, bagged, or handled in a way that doesn't contaminate the fryer for gluten-free diners. Losing access to items like fries, falafel, and other fryer items over pita chips is extremely disappointing. I still love Luna Grill and want to support them, but this change makes it much harder for gluten-free customers to eat there safely. I really hope corporate reconsiders this decision or creates a dedicated fryer solution so people with gluten allergens are not pushed out of options.
