DO NOT GO HERE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I placed a $120 online order at 12:03 pm. The app said my sandwiches would be ready at 12:16pm. When I arrived around 12:20 pm, my sandwiches were not yet ready. At about 12:35pm - twenty minutes after the app said my sandwiches would be ready - I walked to the counter, asked if my sandwiches were ready yet, and was told, "Oh yes. Sorry. I wasn't paying attention." The guy behind the counter literally admitted he was not paying attention! Absurd. So, the hot sandwiches I ordered were now cold - and half of them were not labeled as I requested. I did get a free bag of chips because I asked for one. The manager actually seemed annoyed by my request for free chips. But honestly, she should have offered me a free sandwich given their gross ineptitude. Their attitude is unprofessional and discourteous. And their service is slow and sloppy. Shame on them, especially since they charge a premium for their sandwiches. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Jersey Mike's is the best sub shop out there. Sorry no photos from this trip. But they are excellent, consistent from location to location. Love just about every sub they have and tried most. The #13 Original Italian or the #43 Chipotle Cheesesteak are awesome. The #2 Jersey shore Favorite is also great. This location is tucked away off Los Angeles Ave in Moorepark, nice little area around the store, plenty of parking and easy in and out. I used the app and ordered ahead, so the service was super fast, ready when I walked in. The have a number of employees here and they all said "Hi" when I walked in, feels welcoming. My friends and I really love Jersey Mike's. We like to pick sandwiches on game day before the Rams home game and eat half before the game and half afterwards. The sandwiches are always really good and the service is always friendly. The only thing I would like to them change is the Sunday hours. If they could open at 9am or even 9:30am on Sundays we could make it there more often. read more

I've noticed the service at Jersey Mike's has been inconsistent over the last 2 to 3 months and I go about once a week not always on the same day. There's always at least one employee on shift that is in a bad mood and it's easy to see because they don't smile, they make the sandwich in a hurried 'can't wait to get this over with' fashion and just look visibly apathetic. Even a couple weeks ago a female employee tossed the sandwich to the next station, spilling some of the contents out of the sandwich lol. Today was the same lackluster customer service and I also witnessed an employee with dirty blonde hair and a mustache eat 2 cookies from the tray meant for customers, grabbing them with his bare hands no less. Not sure what's going on because I have brought these observations to management before but clearly as long as the sandwiches are good, mediocre service is acceptable. read more

Made the mistake of coming back and giving this location another shot. I don't know why it's so hard to put LESS ingredients on a sandwich. I'd like a cheese steak, plain, only meat and cheese, extra cheese. They sure as hell remembered to charge me $2.50 extra for additional cheese but forgot to leave off the onions and peppers. I'm literally asking you to do less, yet you are incapable of that. That's the last time I blow $32 at this location. Never again. Done. This was the first time I've ever gone to this company. I normally buy from Subway. For the past few years, Subway prices has skyrocketed long before California passed the higher wages bills. Subways bread has shrunken down over the years. Also, in many Subway locations, I caught them putting little to almost nothing on the sandwiches. I had to call them out repeatedly. So I decided to finally try something new. I went to this location. I can't understand why are there many negative reviews. My experience coming here was great. I saw how they make the sandwiches, and I asked the employees many questions. They were all polite and professional. I decided to buy a Giant Sub Turkey and Provolone sandwich. They put lots of stuff on there, more than Subway ever did. I didn't have to call them out. Probably the only downside is the price. The price was around $19! When I took it home, I took ate one piece. It filled me up and it tasted great. It didn't taste like Subway food, this was way better. The place inside has a great atmosphere. The employees all smile and willing to answer questions. It's very clean. I didn't see anything wrong. In the end, I recommend the location. Some people have bad experiences while others, like myself, love this place. The food is expensive, but I would buy again as the food was tasty and delicious. When I first started coming here, there was a couple staff members that were a bit unpleasant to deal with so I stopped coming to location for quite a while, and I went in there one day and it was all new staff, the ambience to change people are smiling again you were greeted when you walked through the door the staff working there now are always happy in a good mood even when their AC was out and they were sweating. Update. This location still sucks. I decided to stop by for 3 sandwiches for lunch for the family. It was 1:15 when I walked in. Didn't leave the store until 1:40. This was mostly due to online and call-in orders. The line completely stopped for ~6-7 sandwiches that were made to order for online or called-in orders. Completely derailed the train of customers in line. I love the taste and freshness of the sandwiches. Still a top of the list sandwich. But the wait and overall vibe is terrible at this location. Manager, you have a sandwich building area (to the right) that is not being utilized. In the very least, use that station for online and call-in orders. This will keep the walk-in line moving along. Worst possible service for a company catering order I have ever seen! Business' do not place a catering order here. The manager Jack or Josh is completely absent re customer service. I called Thurs at 11:30am to place a small catering order for my company. Mngr told me to call back at 2:30pm. I called back at 2:30pm and supv Alisa said call back at 4pm. We couldnt do that so asked again to place the order. Alisa took the order which we would pickup the next day at 11:30am. I called again morning we were to pick up the order and spoke to mngr jack or josh, to confirm. He assured me all would be in order. We got the order back to our office and all the drinks were warm and none of the right sandwiches were in their corrolated marked boxes. This was very embarrasing for our human resources dept. I called the manager to complain, and he must have asked me "how can I help you" 6 times because I was asking his name and the owners name. This mngr refused to give me his last name. He made excuses for the employees and although we paid a lot, he didnt offer coupons, to reimburse anything.. This was quite possibly the worst customer service Iv seen in a very long time. I don't like to give negative reviews. I think this might be my first. We go to this location because it's closest to us. However, every time we go it is terribly slow and we typically are always behind one or more people that are ordering for their entire family tree, which makes an already slow running facility even slower. We keep questioning why we go to this Jersey Mikes when we know we it's going to wind up being 30+ minutes before we are even ordering our sandwiches, so 45+ minutes before we are actually going to eat. Each time I try to convince myself that it must have just been a busy day, but how many times is too many? Recently, we decided to have food delivered from them for the first time. Took an hour and 10 minutes and they forgot the chips. I received an email asking how my experience was. I responded to the email and took their survey... no response and no reimbursement for the food they failed to provide. My husband has also tried contacting this company due to poor service and his email went unanswered as well. While I won't argue that their sandwiches are good, they aren't so good that I will continue to deal with such a poorly managed location. Any future Jersey Mikes visits will NOT be at this location. They have officially lost our business. This last stealing from me and not having the decent customer service to even apologize or make it right was the final straw. read more

Having lived in the area for most of 40 years it's frustrating when a restaurant has an opportunity to ge hugely successful, but instead, is pissing it away. We wanted to purchase 5 sandwiches for some guys we had working at our house. After making MULTIPLE attempts to call and order I gave up and got into my car. Walking in it did seem busy but the line didn't seem bad. Ten minutes later and I hadn't moved while the line continued to snake almost out the door. When I finally got up to order. The person slicing the meat was a complete jerk. After ordering five number 7s he rolled his eyes with an exasperated groan, slammed the holder in place and continued on. I understand the frustration but show some GRIT and get the job done! There were four others working the line that were quite pleasant. Jon and Caleb were very welcoming from the moment I stepped into the restraunt. I was greeted with a smile and was quickly served a delicious sandwich (#7 my personal favorite). Pretty much in line with a lot of other NJM reviews. It's a good sub (better than Subway any-day), but this NJM (Moorpark) doesn't compare to most others (the one on 1st and LA in Simi is always great). You get the feeling that the owners don't care or don't understand customer service. Please wear a disguise Mr/Mrs owner, walk in, place an order like a regular Joe and wait to see what happens. I honestly think the workers mean well and it's not their fault: They were most likely not trained to come off as insincere, ambivalent and un-ambitious. 1. Orders are often just made incorrectly. Something happens (COMMUNICATION) from the point you give them the order to the point of gathering a piece of your income. 2. All hands are not on deck: You want to say something like 'please focus' and I don't give a flying fickled finger of fate what your plans are this evening. 3. The person who takes your order seems to be a tad annoyed that you actually exist (kind of like your parents when you were 12). Bottom line: please tighten what seems to be too loose and upturn at least a small portion of that upper lip so it looks like you're enjoying to a tiny extant what you're doing for the customer. I've never made a review before, but I feel like it was warranted for this Jersey Mike's. I've been coming in about once a month with my friend and the quality of service has been getting worse over time. The reason I'm even making this review is because we were talking about where to have lunch today and both agreed "not there." I went in the other day and the music was way louder than comfortable and was also the Pokémon theme song ?? I like Pokémon as much as the next person, but surely that can't be appropriate. There's always different people working when I go in and it could be just how the schedule is, but I feel more like they are new hires that weren't trained particularly well and are kinda overwhelmed. The manager is fairly rude and unprofessional, he keeps legos on the counter and prioritizes online orders over people standing in front of him. He seems very stressed and confused every time I've gone in. I'm also not sure of the context, but I heard him say "was she asian?" about a customer at one point, which doesn't seem pertinent information at a sub shop. The wait times are long and my lunch hour is short, ordering online doesn't seem to help either because my friend ordered for us before and the order was lost and she ended up waiting anyway. The store is also not particularly clean... I don't want to sound mean, because I've worked in fast food and I know how hard it is, but my sympathy can only take me so far. I don't think anyone at the store reads these, but if they do, my advice would be to close the store for a day and retrain everyone, including the manager. And my advice to the manager would be that sometimes you need to step back and ask yourself if you're where you want to be and if you aren't, it might be time for a change. read more

Ordered by phone, showed up 20 minutes later to find a lady yelling at the workers calling them punks and accusing them of being rude on the phone. When I asked for my order they had no record of it and said I had to wait. I waited for 45 minutes while I watched them backed up with at least 10 sandwiches at the vegetable station. I saw them making a wrap which I ordered and as I watched them make the wrap they got the meat right but totally screwed up the vegetables. At that point they hadn't even started my other two sandwiches so I decided it was time to walk. Went down the street to jack in the box and I hate fast food, really wanted a nice sub wrap but this store with their incompetent employees ruined my dinner. Poor training poor customer service. Awful management right now. What is going on? They do not greet you when you walk in. The woman at the slicer is incredibly rude. Rude tone, no smiles, no friendliness. Sandwich guy very slow, had to tell him twice to do pickles. He took the top part of my bun, scraped it off in the sink and came back and re-did it. No listening skills. Every time I order a sandwich it is wrong. . If I get an order to go, I always open it to find it wrong-- and I have to drive back over there. I will not return until there is new management, this place is very far gone. Whoever owns this franchise, please save your location-- we like the food, we need better service to return.
