Staff knows their ice machine for fountain drinks is broken. There is no sign saying that it doesn't work. And then when you order a fountain drink, they don't bother to tell you that by the way there's no ice. This is just carelessness and stupidity. #1: The food is good. I like the place, just not this one. #2: They cannot get orders right. Details: We ordered about $120 worth of sandwiches in July. Two sandwiches were wrong. Called, and got put in the "book" for two giant subs. Ok, mistakes happen. Wife goes in about two months later to get the subs. They mess it up again. One comes with cheese (thankfully not an allergy) and one is an entirely incorrect sandwich (a 3 instead of a 4). When I called again (not asking for or accepting any sort of recompense - I'm just not going back) the shift manager said "your wife watched us make the sandwiches...?" So it is my wife's job to know the sandwiches, what goes on them, and everything you are responsible for? Who's job is it to take orders and see they are filled correctly? Should I fill out a time sheet after I order as I clearly need to manage your employees? Again, I will go back to a JM, but not this one. I've been here twice, once when they first opened. I never got to the counter because the line was stopped. They slice their meat per order and they were so backed up that after 15 minutes in line, I left. I gave them the benefit of the doubt having just opened. I went back today an was encouraged by the fact the there were 7 employees and a manager and only 2 customers. The manager was taking orders and slicing. I walked up to order and the manager ignored me and started slicing 5 or six different meats for the two people in front of me. This literally took 5-6 minutes. So now I'd been in the store ten minutes he takes my order without asking the bread. I ordered a chicken philly no. 16. I watched the high schoolers trying to cook the meats. I saw a young gir cook enough chicken for a mini, this took 10 minutes. I knew she'd cooked the wrong amount. I saw another employee handling Togo bag with disgusting gloves. After 25 minutes and the girl just then starting the rest of the meat go my sandwich, I asked for a refund. The manager was put off by this and told me hot sandwiches take 20 minutes. This seems strange for a lunch oriented restaurant when most folk only get 30 minutes for lunch. read more

I used to order a couple time a week sometimes but definitely once a week at least when they had the great deal of buy one get one for 5 bucks. Now it's almost 40.00 for 2 sandwiches. Stopped here for takeout sandwiches on a late afternoon. We like Jersey Mike's subs. The place appeared to be staffed entirely by high school kids, not one of whom was wearing a mask. This at the height of the Omicron surge. Not sure if this was a political statement on the part of the owner, or just kids being irresponsible, but next time we'll try a different Jersey Mike's to see if they do better. read more

Beware vegetarians! I ordered a portobello hot sandwich on rosemary and parmesan bread. To my surprise when I arrived home I took a bite and spit it out. It had beef on it. I haven't eaten meat in 50 years. I was very specific when I ordered. I called and the young woman was apologetic and told me to bring it back. I explained I threw it out. I just wanted a refund. The following day I returned for a credit to my account. This young women asked if I was there for a pickup. I replied only for money as I explained what transpired. She went over to a man slicing meat. He asked what had happened then ordered me to come to him. I explained again. He was dismissive and rude. No apology. I learned he was one of the owners. He should not be in this business. I will never give them another visit! Shame on him. read more

Didn't care much for it. They over-use the "juice" (vinaigrette) even if you ask, no, beg them to take it easy. Takes a long time for cold sandwiches to be made and an insane amount of time for a "hot" sandwich. Their prices are also through the roof. Just can't see it lasting with the competition. read more

Like the other reviewers said, it takes far too long to get your order. While freshly slicing every meat and cheese for every order is a great marketing sell, it is simply not feasible in a restaurant setting where volume is necessary to make it. I waited over 15 minutes to receive my order, which I was amazed at because several other people were waiting much longer. If you pre-sliced the meats and cheeses like Jimmy Johns, the wait time would get drastically reduced and customer satisfaction would go up. The food was overall good, bread was nice and soft. I believe I counted at least 6 people behind the counter, and still the speed of production was agonizingly slow. An example of increasing efficiency is simply having a stockpile of chips behind the counter. At least twice when I was waiting the cashier had to walk all the way around the counter to the line of customers and make her way through just to grab a bag of chips for a pick-up order. In summary, given the choice of Jersey Mike's or Jimmy Johns just down the street, I'll pick JJ any day. Jimmy Johns is quick and the food tastes great for around the same price as Jersey Mike's. If I could leave with 1 thing to change to make the experience better: pre-slice the meats and cheeses. read more
