Ahhhh Mikes. We had some good times! But it's time we part ways.. I had to see for myself if the rumors were true and I am saddened to report that indeed they are. THE SUBS ARE NOW EXTREMELY WEAK. Mostly BREAD!! The subs used to be nice and heavy , a lot of meat. I never minded paying their prices because of the quantity. But now, it's definitely not worth it. I always get a Giant sub. It was hard to finish one in a sitting BUT NOW I could have ate two of them. This is what happens when Big private equity firms purchase great businesses, they cut back on what makes these places great and eventually they go out of business. Sadly I will not return. Mike we had a good run! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - "Giant" Italian sub which was sub par and mostly bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Massapequa Park, New York

Nice looking place- plenty of staff- BUT really? High priced hero with limited protein! Not worth it. They have transitioned to the rest at higher prices read more

This Jersey Mikes is the best Jersey Mikes on Long Island. The staff is aways nice and aways remembers my name. Probably one of the most professional Hard workers I ever seen for a food chain. read more

After visiting three different sandwich shops, I was extremely disappointed with the customer service at Jersey Mike's competitors. We were sponsoring lunch for a basketball tournament and needed to feed 50 people on a budget, so finding the right caterer was important. When I walked into Jersey Mike's in Massapequa Park, I was instantly greeted, and the assistant manager Brittany took the time to sit down with me and figure out the most cost-effective way to cater the event. Both Brittany and the manager JP were incredibly helpful--they answered all of my questions, took my calls, and even made sure there were enough mayonnaise packets! When I picked up the order, it was perfectly organized and ready to go. JP and Brittany personally carried everything to my car, including salt, pepper, ketchup, mayo, and even oil and vinegar in Jersey Mike's signature portable squeeze bottles. I'm so thankful I found them to cater this event. Their attention to detail and genuine care made a huge difference, and I will absolutely be using them again in the future. Thank you, Brittany and JP, for going above and beyond! read more

Ordered wrong and Anthony was nice enough to change the order after it was made. Always good and fresh. Good customer service

I ordered a BLT I said a mini BLT with American cheese and mayo the girl with the pink hair was rushing as they are wrapping it up I said there's no lettuce or tomato on it and the girls with the pink hair said she asked you if you wanted anything else on it and you said no I said obviously it comes with lettuce and tomato. Well she started arguing with me. The worst jersey Mike's I ever been to. read more

What's annoying is walking in before the rush having to wait for your sandwich for to then open your sandwich and not get what you asked for Double meat sandwich was light Asked for mayo and cherry pepper relish both not on sandwich so you give it to me on the side so I I have to forcefully eat it as glob on my sandwich is really bad work, come on guys you write everything down before an order small things like this creates a bad experience so annoyed now I am late from my lunch break and didn't get what I ordered read more

I honestly love Jersey Mikes. I am a big supporter of small businesses, don't get me wrong, but sometimes a quick and easy sandwich is just what you need. I always get the super sub on the rosemary parm bread. The staff has always been helpful and kind and I've never have a significant issue with my order. Even with delivery the food is good, but I do live relatively nearby. Now that I'm thinking about it I may need it sooner rather than later. read more

I walked into your empty Massapequa store on Sunrise Hwy. Got yelled at to stand in a certain place, if I wanted to place an order. After telling the obnoxious girl, who nastily asked me what I wanted, she wrote it down and slid the paper to me and said, again nastily, "take them to the register". So I did. Only for the girl to pick up the paper from where I placed it and slammed it back on the counter right in front of the register, like my placement wasn't good enough for her. Then, while they are making my order, they ask me what I wanted on it. I said I wasn't sure and I'll wait for the sandwich to be in front of me on the prep counter to decide. That's when I was told I HAD to tell them BEFORE the sandwhich was made, what unwanted on it. I don't know what I comes with, I don't know what else I want on it, until I see what it comes with. Why couldn't they just have the sandwich in front of me, like every other time I have eaten here. Someone there is making ridiculous rules and making customers uncomfortable. I simply walked out....never again will i go to a Jersey Mikes. read more

People working there were nice. Trained and followed their process. Which did not really help me understand what they had to offer. Big business, not like a deli. The food was ok, for a Subway. Bread was same as subway. Coming to Long Island and serving that bread must be embarrassing for them. Meats were not deli quality. It was ok...at the Subway level. Price was insanely expensive and they asked me for a tip on top of that! I don't know who this Jersey Mike guy is, but he doesn't know much about deli quality food. If he is going to overcharge his customers he should pay his people a fair wage and not have them beg for tips. I'd vote for him to go back to Jersey. I have no idea why people want to go to this place to over pay for over processed nonsense. The people working there were nice. Worth saying twice. #GTFOH read more

My mother has been there twice since seeing an online grand opening ad. Right on Sunrise Hwy, in Massapequa Park in a small strip center. For a sandwich shop they are head and shoulders better than the chain subways shops etc. Real sandwiches, not weird in any way. Super nice people. Tasted great. A good fast stop. read more

HI, Let me start off , I always liked Jersey Mike in Massapequa Park, but I think that has come an end. I recently ordered a GIANT hero from them . It was nothing extraordinary just a roast beef with provolone and mayo. I asked for extra meat. When the order arrived I did a double take due the fact there was 3 slices of beef , one slice of provolone , and the mayo. I said let me understand this I just paid 27.00 for a large hero to just eat bread? ?....i called the store immediately, and of course the manager was nowhere in sight...what a ripoff this place turned out to be....dont order from here go to a deli and get a regular hero that's properly made and at a much lower cost..... read more

Better than Subway, but way over priced! I was a first timer; and ain't know no better, so the cashier convinced me to order the big size sandwich of the Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak, claiming that because of its contents it will be easier to fit everything in the bigger one vs the smaller size. B.S! Y'all just wanted my big dollars because I walked out of there spending $16 for only a sandwich. No chips. No drink. Sandwich only!! It was good, but dag 16 bucks. That alone turned me off and I haven't been back since. I feel like I got swindled smh... read more

I finally made it here! My mom was craving Subway so I said, hey, why don't we try Jersey Mikes if you want a sandwich. And that's how we ended up here. When walking in the door, we were greeted by two really sweet and helpful guys behind the counter. They allowed us some time to take it all in to see how things worked and offered their assistance when noticing our puzzled looks. It's all pretty comparable to Subway, but everything is better. There's three different length subs and then three flavors in all sizes. So as the guys said, you can pick a menu option, or you can throw together whatever you want. Nothing on the menu really stuck out to me, so I had them throw together ham, turkey, Swiss, lettuce & tomato and honey mustard. It was amazing!! The bread was like deli-hero roll quality, unlike Subway. All of the deli meats are freshly sliced right in front of you and every bite reflects that freshness. As far as pricing, it's definitely a bit more costly than it's competitors, BUT you certainly get what you pay for. You're paying for that extra quality not just the fresh food, but the sandwich is wrapped in high quality wax paper and then placed in another bag so it doesn't leak. There's also discounts for active service members (maybe retired too, don't quote me) as well as student discounts. If you're second guessing coming here, give it a shot. The service and food is definitely worth it. read more

Very clean my club sub was so fresh and delicious and the service was great most definitely coming back

I just found this place in my neighborhood. Not bad. Definitely better then subway. I'll give it that. Especially the sandwich selection. A bit on the expensive side since it seems 1/2 of the sandwich is thick bread. It's not as good as Charlie's but better then any subway. That's my take on it. I'll probably go back because the sandwich was decent and this area lacks good sandwiches. read more

Before I forget plastic straws, they have them! I knew I was in the right place once I saw them. Overall I'm happy I decided to come here to grab a quick easy dinner. My meal was a whole lot better than subway. The kids who work here we're busting their butts doing a good job the manager should be proud. I'm going to keep this review short because I am about to fall asleep from how stuffed I am from the #43 chipotle cheese steak, although in my opinion it could've used a little bit more of a kick. Oh yea, they have cream soda which I thought was neat as I've never saw that dispensed through a fountain machine before and they offer curb side pick up see my pic on how it works. read more

Great food! Great philly cheese steak. Perfect place to order lunch & pick up. Plenty of choices, clean inside & now they have a good staff.

I spent $52.00 for three sandwiches and I had to throw them in the trash! The guy working there got my order wrong three times! The sandwich was dry and needless to say we ended up throwing them away instead. I kept saying no cheese and he kept on adding cheese. He went to the back and when he came out he didn't change his gloves! I'm foolish for not asking for a refund but the point is for that amount of money my sandwiches should be correct. I will never spend another dime in there again! If you want bread and a bag of lettuce then that's your place otherwise go elsewhere! This guy clearly was under the influence l. I was there for an hour! I really want my money back! read more

Stopped in yesterday and was greeted by a really nice young man. The Staff overall seemed very pleasant. The sandwich was made fast and tasted very good (I got the Italian one). I was pleasantly surprised and would definitetly recommend this over somewhere like Subway for instance. Give them a chance, the Regular sized Sub was also fairly big. I thought overall it was really good. Update: Went back today with my wife, I got a Philly cheese steak and she got chicken parmesan. Both were very good! We'll be back. read more

Fresh food, good service. Location is a bit tricky to park in but overall will return.

Giving three stars because my husband liked his Philly Cheesesteak sub. I did not like the turkey and provolone sub The turkey was sliced so small and thin that it was almost shredded. Subs were expensive and I felt that for this level of deli, I would have enjoyed Subway better. read more

Staff was less than stellar. Usually have a good experience. But one worker in particular had a problem with an online order being placed after 0830 pm. The system automatically makes the order for 10:00 am the next day (I understand that this might be out if his control). But he was rude in the way he informed me of this when I called to correct it. And then was rude when he felt the need to reiterate this to my wife (who was picking up the order). He basically told me that we should come earlier if we want food, because he and his staff want to get out on time. I understand what he means, but the way he said it and how he handled it was a complete fail. Sad outcome. I generally liked this place. read more

UNSANITARY!!! Done with this location. I gave them a second chance after the first time. TWO different times they didn't change their gloves. The first time the employee touched money and didn't put a clean pair on before making a sandwich. The second time (today) the employee was wiping the counter down with a dirty rag and gloves on. I ordered a sandwich and noticed he didn't change his gloves to a clean pair. I didn't say anything because there were customers behind me. I bought it and threw it out when I got home. ‍ DISGUSTING STAY AWAY. read more

I stopped by to get the BLT. I like how the bacon is cooked crispy but what I found when I got home and opened up the sandwich was just weird. I ordered the BLT and as the sandwich was done the girl passed it off to have it cut and wrapped up. I come home and what do I find but a foot long BLT that cut into 4 pieces of different sizes. And what else was surprising is...if your cutting a sandwich, how come you can't cut it all the way through??? I went to pick up a piece and just the top part pulled off while the bottom remained intact. I mean come on! How on earth do you cut up a sandwich in 4 different sizes and not all the way through to the bottom? Would you cut your sandwich like this? I've noticed that the quality of sandwiches are better when the owner is there. Maybe he should stick around longer throughout the day to ensure quality control. read more

This is my favorite spot to get lunch. Knowing that all I had to say was make it Mike's Way made me so happy. is the only place my 19yo Daughter wants to get her BLT. We've tried all the other places around the area and this one beats them all. Using a Shore Points account to accumulate points with each purchase means lots of free sandwiches for us. We went to this location to get some sandwiches and were told that they were "out of bread." "They close in an hour, and they had to save what bread they had left for online customers." When we asked for the managers name, the employee asked, "Why? There's nothing she can do." After finally getting Nicole's name, we finally decided to go the Bellmore location, where the service was good, people were friendly, and they had bread for walk in customers. From what I understand, this location is owned by experienced franchisees. Let's hope they get their staff trained up and fix the issues that they have there. If you are anywhere close to the location, in Bellmore, save yourself the hassle and go there instead. read more

First off--the people who work at jersey mikes in Massapequa park are so pleasant and polite. I never expected a franchise to actually serve a great deli sandwich. I love jersey mikes and could prob eat it every day! II've only had their philly cheese and & Italian sub and they are equally delicious. First, I'd like to say I used a buy one get one free coupon, and I'm glad I had it to try for the first time, $14 + for a one foot sub is ridiculous. I'm glad I was the second one on line as there is only one meat slicer & one person to slice meat. By the time I left there were about at least 6-7 people behind me. While I was waiting to order, there was a young man who put on gloves and was looking right at me (for a while) while not saying anything to me. I waited and waited while he was looking at me and then realized he was watching the tv right above my head. He was actually waiting for the one meat slicer to hand him a sub to put on condiments. I ordered 2 Philly cheesesteak large, no peppers, no onions. I see the grill guy start to cook onions, he was told twice no peppers, no onions. I guess the third time is a charm. The thing that bothered me the most though was when I used my card to pay (before I got my subs) the cashier told me the card reader had a question first, what I wanted to tip!!!!!!!!!! Seriously?? No. I am buying your sandwiches, that is your job, you get paid for making them for take out. I work in a Drs. office, I don't ask for tips for helping patients. I really do not know what type of steak was used but it was not good, at all. I seriously would have been happier if it was frozen Steak Ems. On the plus side, the Rosemary Parm bread was delicious and so fresh! So one star for the bread. My dogs loved them! Seriously, if I had paid $28 + for these 2 subs, I would have returned them. read more

Well, it's now been a year since the Massapequa Park Street Fair of 2018. The 2019 Massapequa Park Street Fair was this past weekend. At the 2018 one, Jersey Mike's was giving out coupons for their new location on the other side of Sunrise Highway. Well, with all the walking around and browsing I did, I somehow lost the coupon. I didn't realize this until I got to the store later on. I explained the situation to the manager on duty and he refused to honor the coupon deal without the coupon, even though the fair was still going on across the street, and many other identical coupons were being handed out at that very moment. Disliking the attitude of the manager, I left the store, and haven't returned since. I have had Jersey Mike's food at other locations over the years. It's definitely very good, and filling, though most New York delis still have them beat. The problem here was just the attitude. Any other business I have been to, if there is a heavily promoted store discount or special offer happening, they don't need the coupon to honor it, they will just apply the coupon offer if you mention it, and scan a copy. Not this place. I love food, but it's all about the attitude sometimes. All the manager had to do was say, "Of course, no problem." I see from other reviews since my visit last summer that I am not the only one who had encountered unsual rudeness at this location. read more

I've been going to this location since it opened. Today I ordered a mini and the worker preparing the sandwich put two small end slices of turkey on the bread. When I asked about the portion and asked if I can get more meat, another worker who appeared to be the manager yelled out "It's extra". I asked him what was the change in portion because I've gotten this type of sandwich here before. With an attitude he said "well they were doing it wrong". I hope this franchise does not turn out to be like Subway, if so I guess I will have to go back to the neighborhood deli. Also the manager was making another sandwich for someone else, he had a very long and unkept beard. All I can say is its a good thing he was not making my sandwich!!! read more
