Freshly sliced and dressed Mike's way, the Club Sub just hits differently, especially after it's has a few minutes for the oil and vinegar to soak into the already soft bread. This location is always hit or miss! I like to place online orders when visiting this location to minimize the wait time! It's such a small store with a high volume of customers so patience is much needed! It's usually pretty busy, especially on Fridays! I will say that my sandwiches have always been crafted exactly the way I asked, even for online orders! I wish they had more discount options, though! read more

I'm told the cold subs cannot be grilled. I ordered a #17 Philly Steak and was asked if everything on it was fine. I said Yes and I'd like it Mike's Way. I got the sub just plain, not Mike's way. I went back in and they reluctantly gave me the lettuce, tomato and raw onion in plastic cups and a cup of oil and vinegar. I had to assemble it myself in the car. I never have any issues from this location, they are pretty consistent. I ordered from the app, so I could just grab and go. I always get the club, which is a pretty basic sub. I got home took a bite noticed something was missing, they forgot the bacon. It's dark outside so I didn't feel like going back and making them redo the sub. Kind of pissed, like how do you forgot to complete a basic sandwich. I don't really like ordering on app, especially in oakleaf because it's never right. All I would say is make sure to check everything before leaving the restaurant because they will mess up a simple order. read more

The sandwiches are always fantastic. Coming from New Jersey, I can always rely on Jersey Mike's to get the sandwich right no matter where I am in the country. This particular Jersey Mike's normally is good, service-wise but this girl tonight was outrageously obnoxious. She was rude to not only myself but the other guests/customers that were in the store. She was almost yelling at us no matter what was ordered. I might take a week off from coming in or if I'm in the parking lot and I see her I won't stop in. Stopped by to pick up Sandwich there was one other person paying for their food when I walked in. I felt as if I was invisible no greeting, no acknowledgment of my presence. One was making 2 sandwiches for orders. She sliced meat and dressed both sandwiches while others stood around watching. Finally after 8 minutes one of the gentleman said to me "have you decided?" no thank you for your weight no hi how are you? Nothing just asking me if I had decided and honestly I knew what I was ordering before I walked in there. Not any of the three of them ever cracked a smile. Not a very welcoming establishment. not only was the food good but staff were great. Beach Blvd in Jacksonville FL. My bf got a giant and it was so big.

I have 2 complaints of this particular location. First, the staff. Their attitude was HORRIBLE. There were 4 people working. I gentleman was cleaning. One was on the grill. There was a girl on the register and one helping with the grill. I ordered a "6"" sub that was no more than 5". When I questioned the gentleman on the grill, nothing but attitude! The girl on the register piped in as well. I paid more than $10 for this sub and I told them that was ridiculous. The girl promptly told me "we don't make the prices". They both agreed that was a 6" sub. I told them that was impossible and I would not be returning. At this point, the girl told me to "go on to Firehouse then" and they all started laughing. Second, the gentleman that was doing the cleaning was using a bottle of Clorox bleach cleaner on the soda machine and the napkins/straws/lids/tables/etc. I really do not think that bleach is what should be used as a cleaner around items that one might put in their mouth. He also mopped the floor; however, there was no "Floor Wet" sign put up. Why mop during business hours when people could potentially get hurt from slipping? I really am not about paying a premium for something that was not what was ordered, then get an attitude when I question if my order was correct. I understand help is hard to find right now but seriously... Telling customers to go to their competition if they don't basically like it. Not really folks that I think should be representing this brand. But please keep laughing at the people who are spending their hard earned money to pay your salary! read more

I LOVE subs. Probably one of my top 5 favorite foods. For a chain restaurant, I really really like Jersey Mike's! They have an interesting selection of Italian deli meats, which I love. So you can get your basic turkey, ham and roast beef here or get fancy and try some of the Italian meats you won't be able to pronounce. They have cold and hot subs as well as wraps and low carb bowls. For me, bring on the meaty cold subs! When you walk in, the menu is right in front of you. They're always courteous and tell us to take our time choosing a sub. Once you pick your sub, size and bread, they literally slice the meat and cheese right in front of you. How much fresher can you get? I just love this. Toppings are minimal, but these subs are so packed with meat, you don't need a lot of toppings. You can choose your own or be lazy like me and tell them you want it Mike's way - onion, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar and spices. Best part are the spices blended with the oil and vinegar. Takes it over the top in taste buds land for me! By far my favorite sub is the #13 the original Italian. Provolone cheese, ham, salami, pepperoni, cappacuolo, and prosciuttini. It's like meat heaven on a roll. All that meat with the toppings....and the bread holds up! Super important for a good sub. I've also had the #2 Jersey Shores favorite. Provolone, ham and cappacuolo. Obviously not as meaty as the Italian, but still good. My husband loves the #8 Club Sub - turkey, ham, applewood smoked bacon, provolone and mayo. Everytime he comments about how crispy the bacon is. Mmmm...bacon. Some may find the subs are slightly pricey. They range from $7-9 just for the sub. When you realize they're slicing everything fresh, using Italian meats, and packing it on, I feel the price is justified. Unlike when I've eaten at Subway or Firehouse, I'm actually full after eating a regular sub here. No chips or cookies even needed as a side. Also if you sign up for their emails they will send you coupons. If you use their app, you'll get pts for buying food and can earn free food! Bonus! I'm definitely a fan and I'm so glad we have a new option for good food in the Oakleaf area. read more

The manger Arreyonda was very rude and nasty tonight because she was ready to go home. It's sad to say that she is the manager. She told the customers on tonight (04/13/2022) we should have come in early, and she don't know why we wait until the last night to want a sub. I ask her if she could serve a sub, she then asks me if it's going to be a hot sub or cold sub. I told her I wanted a cold sub, and she then went to say well you will have to get a wrap. She had all the food put away and the only thing she was offering was wraps. The store closes at 9pm and I was at the location at like 8:32pm. Shame that yawl have an employee a manger that closes the store early and argue with your customers because she is ready to go home. The company really needs to look into this situation that happen tonight. There was another customer that also walked in that wanted service and she told home the same thing about waiting too late to come get a sub. That customer walked out and said Fuck this. Now you have lost two customers. The big thing is the unprofessionalism with the manager (Arreyonda). She went to tell me she gets off at 9pm, like Hoe don't come for me because you ready to go. How do you lead by example and all of your staff is looking at you like you crazy? Please retrain her to follow the rules. It's a lot that goes on in this building that I can disclose, but I will stick to the subject. Please look at your camera footage and see that she had all the bread put up. First of all - the staff at Jersey Mike's in Oakleaf are the worst. They are rude 100% of the time. I usually don't mind a big deal about it, because I just get my food and leave. However, last night, was the worst. When I got home, my sub was completely saturated in buffalo sauce. I could hardly even open it up. When I finally got thru the mess, I realized it was made wrong. I called to let me know, and the girl literally said to me "Well, that isn't our fault. You ordered it that way." Now, I am not saying I don't make mistakes, because I do. However, I have order this sub the *exact same way* many, many times. I am super picky, and I know better than to make that kind of mistake. Even if I did make the mistake, I have never been treated like that by a company. It was truly the straw that broke the camels back.
