The closest place to my location was Davis Food & Pharmacy. They didn't have the Brand I was after, so I decided to grab one that was on sale - secret clinical. I grabbed a 1.6 oz box of the 'Light' fragrance because it was behind a sign that read $8.99. The part of the sign, that I failed to read was 'certain scents.' I should've brought it up to a store manager but we were on a tight schedule with a dinner reservation. Having been a retail manager, I know the store should've honored their sign but, I gave them a freebie today. Other than that, I feel the store was clean, well-stocked, but ill-staffed. There was one cash register open and a line 5 deep. We chose to go thru self check out which is the main reason I didn't push the price discrepancy issue!

While the store itself is beautiful, the poor customer service persisted. My husband, who had a full cart including a corn dog, asked an employee in the deli for mustard packets. The employee immediately questioned if my husband was making a purchase. After confirming he was, the deli worker had to ask a woman in the back, who seemed unwilling to provide them. He finally handed over two packets, explaining rudely that people sometimes ask for ten mayonnaise packets. It was an unnecessarily rude interaction over a simple request, and we will not be shopping at Lin's again. We aren't asking for exceptional service, just a baseline of respect and kindness. Personal job dissatisfaction is understandable, but it's unprofessional to let it affect interactions with the public, such individuals should consider roles that don't involve direct customer contact.

You can never go wrong with the classic Thanksgiving Bobbi. It had been a few years since my last one, and I completely forgot they offer both a cold and warm version. The staff was kind enough to re-grill mine, and it tasted perfect especially with a side of gravy. We ordered two large Bobbi's, one large cheesesteak, and one large chipotle chicken crunch. Prices have definitely gone up since our last visit because our order totaled over $100! But the portions were generous, we all had leftovers for another meal, and everything reheated beautifully in the air fryer. I just wish there were more Capriotti's locations in LA, we only ever get to enjoy it on drives to Utah or Vegas.
