Ordered 2 sandwiches, both were missing meat off the original sandwich order (like ordered a club and missing ham and bacon on the club sandwich, when that is what the sandwich comes with). Got jalapeños on the sandwich, had 2 jalapeños on the whole sandwich. Had our orders messed up 2 times. Will not order from here anymore. read more

Came to pick up my online order today after work my wife had placed online. Walked up to the register and told them my last name and the cashier looked confused I then told her my first name and her and the other two workers stated a couple just came in to pick up my order. I then told them there must be a mistake or someone stole it because I work at the college across the street and my wife works at another school 35 mins away. I then proceeded to call my wife just in case and ask her if she picked up our order (during this time I could hear the female cashier asking the manager about replacing it and at which point he told her that I'd have to pay AGAIN) my wife told me she of course didn't pick it up and emailed me the receipt. At that point I showed the manager the receipt for OUR order and I apologized that someone stole it but I never picked it up, at which he replied saying "then someone must have known you were ordering" which at that point pissed me off. It's one thing to be annoyed or inconvenienced by the situation, but it's another thing to INSINUATE I would try to pull something like that for $15-20. They still honored making the STOLEN order but it's not my job nor my responsibility to figure out how to protect customers' orders from getting stolen nor should I have to deal with being ACCUSED of something so petty. The three workers behind the counter were kind and courteous and if anything you should make the female working the register the manager and get rid of the manager on the grill or teach him how to treat customers appropriately. I worked retail and fast food so I get being overwhelmed and upset in a kitchen, but I also would never accuse my customer of STEALING or making them feel like they did something wrong when in reality it's no one's fault but the thieves. Y'all need to learn to do better. I'll be sure to spread this story to my co-workers and friends as it's unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

Stopped by to grab a sandwich and chips before going hiking. Store was clean and service was good. I ordered roast beef and provolone on white. It was a good size and they didn't skimp on anything, but the sandwich had no flavor. read more

What a cluster. An online/mobile order is meant so you can just walk in and grab your food. Not here. No signs indicating where to get your food, one person running register with a focus of only helping people in the massive line, what's the point of an online order then? I ordered my food 20 minutes before arriving, stood at the register another 10 as my food sat somewhere behind the counter getting cold. Don't waste your time going here especially if you think ordering online will speed up the process. Until they figure out how to properly do online/mobile ordering by having a dedicated area for such orders, STAY AWAY! read more

I am really upset. The Jersey Mike at 2429 Highway 70 SE Hickory NC has got to get it together. So me and my fiance tried to call tonight and place an order at 8:48pm. We heard the call get picked up and the phone hung up. We continued to drive to Jersey Mike's. We arrive at 8:54pm OPEN sign on, door opened and was told we could not place an order because it is 8:55pm. We said we tried to call and was told the call did not go through and we heard someone pick up the phone and hang it up. The hours say they close at 9pm. I have been in Jersey Mike's with people walking through the door at 8:58 and still order was taken. I tried to call and place an order while heading to the restaurant to make sure we were done and out before they closes. We get there once again the Open sign on and door unlocked and told No we could not order. They locked the door before 9pm. The hours on the door say 9pm. There was 3 people working at the time we entered the store. My question is what are your hours in Hickory NC.​ This is not the first time at the same establishment has closed their door before time, but atleast the Open sign was off and the door was locked. Tonight was not the case. I will be reaching out to corporate about this. read more

Yikes, Wanted to leave a review of the Jersey Mikes restaurant on Hwy 70 in hickory NC, First I called the sub shop before I left the house to see if they were open, of course they didn't answer the phone, why would you want to answer the phone, this is the Lifeline of your business!?!?!?, so I decided to drive to the restaurant which is 20 minutes away one way, which is why you answer the phone, to keep from losing customers..... so I get there at 8:52 pm on a Friday night, with a big red and blue sign flashing " OPEN ". I go to the door to open it and it's Locked!! A guy had just walked out the door and was getting in his car said " I think they just closed. Great!!! Lock the door right in my face!! The sign on the door said close at 9:00 pm, if you can't stay open till 9 , Close at 8:30 then, but I guess management just doesn't care about the customers they just lost??? I had over 30.00 of orders with me, thanks for a great job, because FireHouse Subs is just up the road and they answered the phone, and said they would wait on me to come up before they closed.... guess where we are going Next Time!!! Great Italian Sub at a decent price! Place is new and clean and workers were friendly.

My experience was a slow line, medium sub 6"just under $9. Think half of a Subway sub with extra meat. The large was $15 with tax. Okay sandwich but expensive. Hickory ain't NYC. I predict this space turns into a nail salon in 6 months. read more

After I went looking for it for 15 minutes, only to discover that it use their not there or we could not find it. Very disappointed

This evening I went to Jersey Mike's for dinner. Without doubt they are my favorite sub sandwich shop. Tonight I was extremely disappointed. There seemed to be discord between two of the employees, and it was reflected in the sandwich. Normally the oil and vinegar is applied directly to the lettuce, tomato, and onions, but tonight they were applied on the inside of the top bread slice. Naturally that caused the bread to get soggy. By the time I finished the first piece the second one was so soggy that it fell apart. As I was trying to eat my sandwich the employee who made it began hollering. I have patronized this shop since it opened but until tonight had never experienced this sort of negative employee interacting and sub par quality. read more
