Giving 2 Stars for the warm, friendly and efficient up-beat staff. The food was below average, lacking and way overpriced. I've eaten at "Jersey Mike's" about a dozen times over the course of about 15 years. Yesterday's visit will be my last. A simple Turkey sandwich with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Mayo (which they forgot) was almost $14.00. No chips, drink or cookie. What a Rip-Off. Plus, the place was busy and the mobile order rack was piled high with bags. Fairfield Fools. Subway blows this place away. A&S, down the street, is light years away. Mike's Way....NO WAY !!! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Pathetic - Fast Food Near Me - Fairfield, Connecticut

They really have to work on prioritizing in person orders instead of online orders. Waited about half an hour for a chicken Philly sandwich after ordering in person, watching all the online orders get cooked first. When you have a hungry little kid, it's just not great. The sandwich was good, though it felt a bit smaller than it was a couple years ago. It seems Jersey Mike's is not immune to the effects of shrinkflation and private equity. read more

HOLYYYY Cow an estimated 45min wait ... that was actually over an hour.. MAKE SURE you check your wait times before your order is placed 10/10. Will NEVER order here again. Even though they had 10 people working behind the counter. read more

Solid Jersey Mike's, been going here for years. Staff are friendly, with sometimes a wait, but they will try their best to get to you whether you are ordering at the store or going there for a pickup order. Orders are usually done right with no issues. read more

My son ate here with his friends and they all got food poisoning within 20 minutes from the steak subs. This place is filthy, disgusting and should be shut down by the health department. read more

I've gotten a sub a few times here. The service is fast and looks clean enough. The employees are not the friendliest, but rather dry. My most recent visit I ordered a mini club sub, which includes bacon. The worker broke a tiny bacon piece and added it. It was laughable how small it was for a mini $8 sandwich. I asked if she could add one more piece, which she did. She never spoke even after I said thank you several times. read more

We usually go here even if other locations have opened closer. Today we went and ordered three sandwiches. Two of the three were "regular" and standard order, mine the #13 Italian was way larger, the bread and ingredients while my husband's also a regular was a roast beef #9 and looked like a kid size. If the bread is baked onsite it was certainly different and cut on the bias. Staff is always pleasant but for the price each sandwich should look almost similar. read more

Always great service and it's the best steak and cheese in town. The staff is always super friendly and food is always great.

Always very good and tasty. Sandwiches fresh and perfect for summer. Have been going there for a long time and still the best

Loving their Philly Cheesesteak w/jalapeños! The counter staff is always polite and welcoming!

There are many great delis around the Fairfield area but we find ourselves frequently at Jersey Mike's and I think it's because of the "Mike's Way" style of making a sandwich. Something about the oregano, oil, and vinegar all over the #13 keeps me coming back for more. read more

I had heard about Jersey Mike's. Some of my friends love them. One of my family members also loves the freshness of their subs. I recently had the chance to try them. I should say I have not been there but got delivery. I chose a BLT Grinder. My verdict? Pretty good in some ways, not in others. I got delivery through Uber and the Grinder Roll itself was pretty tasty. I specified no mayo (I am not a Mayo fan) and was happy to see they honored my request. Subway has got that wrong in the past. Subway has got that wrong MANY times. Mike's did not so besides having yummy rolls they also get the order right. Yay! I liked the taste of the bacon but was not real thrilled with the lettuce and there is the issue. I never am thrilled with Lettuce at small sandwich places. I do not even LIKE Lettuce all that much but I do eat it sometimes and am picky about it, I am the first to admit. The sub was fresh though which is good but I took much of the Lettuce off. Service was prompt. I am not going to say it was the best BLT Grinder ever but it was certainly decent enough and they are a good option if one wants to stay in and do delivery. Not at all pricey either. Perhaps I just made the wrong choice. I like BLT'S though and wish I'd like d the letuce more though it just maybe that I am to picky about it. I also wish they had a wee bit more options on the to go list. I was impressed with the service so I am willing to try them again and they do beat Subway by alot. read more

If I can give a zero I would, I ordered a chicken chipotle sandwich. I took a few bites, it was not what I ordered. So I called they knew they made a mistake and told me I'm stuck with it and I can come back and get the mayo to put on it. It's not what I ordered though. They said, can't do nothing about it and hung up. read more

THE MICE ARE EATING THE TOMATOES!!! Take caution when dining here as there are mice consuming the food that is used to prepare your sandwiches. The mice continue to prowl throughout the business since the establishment won't close to contain the infestation!! *P.S. They reported my review because they are aware that it is accurate and that the issue is still present.* read more

Jersey Mike's is very good. It's similar but different then the other sub chain restaurants. The best thing that stands out for me is the sliced meat station which adds a freshness to the meal. The bread is good and firm but I'm not a huge fan of the three size options (mini, regular, and giant). The taste of the sandwich is awesome but the employees at this location lacked morale. Saturday night employees looked like they wanted to be somewhere else. Either way, this is a good businesses that I will return to. read more

I for one am a lover of the sandwich, grinder, sub, hogie...whatev! See my fave sandwich list: http://www.yelp.com/list/face-stuffing-sandwiches-fairfield Unfortunately, this location doesn't even come close to the original spot on the Jersey shore. If the bread isn't great then the sandwich won't be either. The bread was not fresh. The toppings were sparse: 2 sliced banana peppers, a limp tomato slice, 1 slice of provolone?! The lettuce was fresh, crisp & shredded- which I prefer. Perhaps a large Italian combo is the best option- it looked better than all the grinders 5 of us ordered. The Philly cheese steak barley had any cheese on it- come on! That's the point isn't it?! Over all, my grinder lacked substance & flavor and left my tastebuds disappointed. read more

Mike way to turn down a customer at 8:56 pm. Sucks to be starving and get told no. Already wrapping and cleaning prior to 9.

Every time I get Jersey Mikes I remember why I refuse to eat from Subway. My dad visits this restaurant pretty often, and they remember and greet him by name which I think is pretty awesome for a chain establishment. read more

2nd time I ordered takeout online...tipped and everything. Just shipped making my order until I arrived and asked. Bag ready..no food.

Was not impressed with this sandwich. The meat portion was small and the onion and peppers were bigger than I'd like on a sandwich, maybe I have to go back and try a different kind of sandwich. read more

ordered 2 cheesesteaks, get there about 30 minutes after the order was placed and they still didn't even start the order. I'm waiting in the building as i write this review, now at about an hour of waiting. Semi empty parking lot, not a lot of people inside and there have been multiple people who decided to just cancel their orders due to the same problem. The employees just seem to not care at all about their jobs. Whoever is managing this staff needs to have a reality check and get people here that want to actually work. read more

Love jersey mikes! Never have I had a problem with my sandwiches. They are always correct. Only giving 4 stars because the customer service varies. Sometimes it's 5 star and sometimes it's lacking. That being said, everyone working there are always super busy and keeping up with the orders and seem to be working very hard so I don't hold the lacking customer service against them. Retail/restaurant business is very hard ! read more

I had a Famous Philly Steak. It was my first Jersey Mike's food as I was moved by the TV ad. The steak was too salty to finish it, and the sub is pricy for the quality of the food. The staff work super efficiently and friendly, though. The store is clean and well-organized. read more

disgusting filthy store rat infestation i went in to eat the other day and the service was horrible. the man behind the counter gave me a nasty attitude. i assumed it was because i came in around 10:30 am. not only that ! on the way out i see mouse droppings on the tables and chairs !! absolutely disgusting. i will never come to eat at this filthy a** place again. read more

Always super polite and friendly staff serving a quality philly cheesesteak product. Always a good experience - the staff should be proud!

I was well received by the staff of this store and had an enjoyable experience. I was given the respect of a returning customer even though it was my first time in the store. The very diverse nature of the staff was a breath of fresh air in comparison to other sandwich makers like subway. I would definitely recommend getting it Mike's Way. read more

The two stars are because my food is always made perfectly when I stand there and direct them. If not for that, this would definitely be a one star review. Placed an order tonight for two sandwiches, both with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. Upon opening, one just had the protein and cheese, the other protein, cheese, and pickles. I was very specific with the girl who answered the phone. I knew it was going to go awry when she read the order back to me and said provolone when I asked for swiss. This isn't the first time this has happened. Last time I'll ever order from this location by phone, the level of incompetence and not caring is HIGH. read more

Today I've seen a #56 sandwich on the menu walk away free. My name is Mat B. I was referred by a friend to try out the big kahuna steak sandwich, and I was very satisfied with the sandwich giving you 5 stars for the food quality, now my only issue was the incorrect matter and the way the service was handled by the staff member inside the restaurant. When I was asked for my order the employee didn't even bother to ask me if I would like a regular or a giant sub, so with that said my order was already starting to go to shambles, next was the part where I had to remind the staff member that I wanted a giant sub just for her forsake, well that wasn't the message that she understood because she had to tell the cook that it wasn't a regular to remake the order. I handed my receipt order back to her and she scratched off and to the cook to remake my sandwich. Now it's super busy inside the restaurant and 2 lines of customers passed by and I'm standing there telling customers to "go ahead I'm still waiting" well here comes the best part of my experience inside Jersey Mikes Subs, after about 15 customers passed me; yes 15 people which I stood waiting expecting my order the cook screamed out my name and handed the sandwich to someone who just recently walked in and had the same as me and took the sandwich and walked out the store within a matter of 60 seconds. Now I'm wondering did that person just received a free sandwich, yes he sure did. The staff didn't even bother to ask me if this was my sandwich that I've been waiting for 20-30 minutes. So after they took accountability for the mistake they made not to mention giving away a sandwich which is worth 15 dollars to someone else, the employee who took my order had the nerve to ask me "would you like a bag of chips for free." I thank for the courtesy on behalf of the Jersey Mikes Subs but seriously a bag of chips will not due me no justice since I've been waiting for that long when I seen the whole entire screw up that the staff made. Obviously for my first experience was terrible but the food was great, I'll be going to Jersey Mikes Subs again, but never on a Saturday especially during lunch from 1-3pm. read more
