If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The food is consistently solid, the smoked meats and all the deli standards are always on point, and somehow the prices haven't climbed the way they have at some of the much more bougie spots around town. It's an old-school Jewish-style deli that's stayed true to itself, and Westport is better for it. Long live Gold's.

Wonderful taste and temp! I do have some suggestions for the owner. There is nothing I hate more than eating from a foam plate. They are toxic to humans and to the environment. Also as a business, you have such great food the foam plates cheapen your food and the experience. A cost effective way would be reusable baskets with paper plates. I also suggest, invest in new plates, cutlery for those seeking a dining in experience. A plate that looks worn also cheapens the experience. Another option is metal trays, they are cheap, look modern and are easy to clean. Other than that you guys are great!

Parking is street parking only, so be prepared for that. The biggest downside was the service timing. We felt a bit rushed to place our order, but then waited about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Overall, it's a cute place with a nice vibe, but the long wait and cold food made the experience a little disappointing.

They used the excuse they didn't know how to credit back a cc and they had a busy day that day. Very unprofessional. I don't recommend them. I won't be back there ever.
