We go there nearly everyday and order the same thing. The food is great, hence why we go back. Also, the service from the people there is also wonderful. All of the staff are super friendly and willing to accommodate anyway they can. That being said, we have had our sub stolen by a homeless man out front. The staff was willing to make another one for us, but since it was only the end piece of the sub, we opted to not bother. The worst part about this store is the owner keeping the AC set to high. He's trying to save money on AC when it's 100 degrees outside. The people making the subs sometimes look like they are going to pass out. Please turn the AC up for them and us. read more

JM is always a great place for fresh and we prepared sandwiches and I've always had good experiences, but I have to say that this one really stands out as I made a brother large order and they finished everything in record time, including processing a second order that I had to do a a few minutes later to add on some other requested items for the group. Especially appreciated the freshly bake cookies that came along with the order. The employees that interacted here were especially friendly and helpful. Parking can be a little tricky here because they are very close to a very large supermarket and food court, which can really impact the parking, not to mention the coffee place next-door so of course it's not their fault but be prepared to maybe walk a little bit for parking. The only request I might make is it rather than writing the numbers on the sandwiches that could they please write the names of the sandwiches, which would make it easier for the group members to figure out, but otherwise great experience at this location. read more

Likes: + Yummy, crunchy, healthy food. Nice location (currently undergoing construction). + I like that I can order ahead through their mobile app. . Ample but crowded parking. Non-likes: - System said order will be ready at 1:10pm. I walked in 1:12pm, turns out they had barely started on it. Order was ready 6min late. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Mobile app declares a quick 5-min turnaround, but in reality it's ~10min. Just a lil heads-up. - Sandwiches Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

I'm a new customer. I've been there twice, both around 8pm. I wish the woman that has helped me would ask me simple things that I don't know...like...what kind of bread would I like?...would I like it toasted? Even what size? My first visit she seemed angry. Second time was better. A little better customer service would go a long way. read more

Don't bother writing a customization request they don't do it. I asked for side of sauce 2 times and they have never put it in. I also ordered chips in my order and they didn't put them in my bag. So many locations are way better. Also just the food size is smaller and I don't ever order extra meat anywhere but this place you might need it because they barely give any. Only reason it's not 1 star is that it still tasted good. read more

Sad excuse of a store. 30 minutes for an online order for two subs and a completely empty store. Started making them after I asking where my order was.. little to no meat for a $20 sub???? Jokes. Won't be back to this location. The 17th street jersery mikes has better subs and better service. Skip this one and go there. read more

There was such a disruptive customer in the store when I went in today around 12:15-12:30. He was using extremely foul language (N word, F word) and more. His complaint was people parking in the handicap spot without a placard. - I was not parked in Handicap spot. He was so distracting that the Giant sandwich I ordered did not come out with what I ordered. The 1 star is because I tried calling the store 3 times to see how they would deal with this. No answer. The customer even raised his fists to me after I asked if he was parking patrol. I told him there was children inside and to watch his language. $18+ sandwich for my wife and I that's not what we expected. Lame. read more

Last night (7/1) i ordered a giant #9 and a giant #64 (a MEATLESS sandwich) , and seemingly had no problems in-store. when i got home and unwrapped my sandwich, the first thing i see was that it wasn't cut. a little annoying, but ultimately no big deal. the first couple bites i took we're only bread and veg, until i notice a different texture. i haven't eaten meat in almost 10 years, so i was confused and asked my partner to check it out. WHY WAS THE SANDWICH FILLED WITH CHICKEN?!?!?! i straight up heard the girl at the cold sandwich station tell the girl on the flat top that "#64 is with american" after i asked for that cheese instead of swiss. so if #64 is a MEATLESS sandwich, why was mine filled with meat? i couldn't even return the sandwich because i had to make a few stops after leaving the store and it was already closed when u got home. i've never had problems with this store before, but other than food poisoning this is literally the worst thing they could have done. i paid $22 for this sandwich i couldn't even eat. y'all need to get it together because y'all already only have 3 stars here and can't afford to lose any more. i want my money back read more

Let me start by saying I'm a Jersey Mikes connoisseur! I love jersey mikes. However! My girlfriend and I walked in at 7:51pm to order the famous secret hot sub #99! We were told the grill was off and cleaned for the night. I thought they closed at 8pm which made sense so we said "ahh okay, thanks anyway". As my girlfriend and I left upset that we were not able to get our #99 we saw on the sign that they close at 9pm!!!! Over and hour away. I turned back into the store and said "you guys close at 9!? You turn the grill off over an hour early?" And all the workers were huddled up talking in the back just shrugging their shoulders. I was very disappointed. Bad service. Very bad service. Poor choice to turn the grill off and clean it over an hour before close so no hot subs can be made. read more

Zero consideration for customers who order online ahead of time. We order one sandwich and show up 15 minutes after ordering. Once acknowledged, the staff continues to serve and make sandwiches for people who walk in 10-15minutes after us. It's taken 35-45 minutes to get one sandwich with the app our last 4 times ordering here. One sandwich. Yet they'll make three for someone who walks in 15 minutes after you and expect you to wait. Worst service when using any app to order form anywhere we've been. Do better read more

Best Jersey Mike's around. I've been to many throughout the country and this one is the best. Friendliest staff. I'd return just because they are so kind and professional . Good prices and filling read more

This honestly was more sad than anything. I ordered a #31 California Chicken Cheese Steak from door dash. It made so poorly with no quality control whatsoever. Great east coast style subs. Not cheap, but not many others make subs this good. Their Philly Cheesesteaks are amazing and I also suggest their Ham & Cheese sub and Roast Beef & Cheese sub. I suggest you try the sweet & hot pepper relish. It's authentic to sub shops in New England. If you are unsure they put on the side. read more

I love jersey mikes specially the tuna fish sub I was around the area for work and stopped by there was literally no one in line there was 3 staff she standing didn't greet me took them forever to even ask me what I would like to order two of them kept having a side conversation the one that did my sub didn't even put no tuna literally it was more bread and vegetables I didn't taste no tuna it was almost 13 dollars for 1 sandwich smh never again !!!! read more

I love Jersey Mike's, but this is the worst run store I've ever been to in my life! Horrible customer service, employees standing around doing nothing not being attentive to the customers... I'm literally shocked at what I experienced today at their establishment. If I was the owner of this one, I would fire the entire staff based on the lack of customer service. They are simply pulling an hourly paycheck and could care less about service or quality. Go to another JerseyMikes... I recommend the one off Bristol and sunflower read more

I live Jersey mikes. I have been eating it for years and this is the worst store I have been to. The food is sloppy, it takes them forever to make your meal, despite the fact that there are tons of people standing around. Also, if the sign on the wall states your meal includes water, I shouldn't have to explain to the staff, a soda cup for free water, that can be handed to anyone, is not what you're ordering. I hate that asking for my water is a fight with the staff. It leaves me with a terrible feeling as I walk out. read more

Workers are rude. Rude and hanging out in the back. Refused to make us sandwiches. Don't go to this location!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I hardly take the time to write reviews on Yelp because generally I'm not that impressed. My experience tonight was exemplary! I ordered a #9 sub in a tub with pickles, mustard, and extra seasoning. The food was assembled with care and finesse, resembling a work of art. The taste was like a symphony of flavors bursting with each bite. Ardy is a master of his craft. If you are lucky enough for him to make your food, you will not be disappointed. Good quality ingredients are only one part of the puzzle. When food is made with passion, this is what separates mediocrity from a meal worth remembering. read more

These clowns messed up my order and said it would take a week to get my money back. When I filed a complaint these idiots told corporate that they gave me free sandwich for my trouble which is not the case. Don't eat here and watch your money if do eat here. If they ring you up and mess up they will do everything in their power to shift responsibility even to go as far as spread lies to their corporate office. The worst eating experience to date. Watch your money kids they take it and run and overcharge. Shift lead and district manager are no help. Good luck :) read more

Service: Absolute disaster. My friend and I came in, famished, and we just wanted to have a quick dinner. It was very rude and anything but fast. We will avoid going to this location again and will stick to the one we usually go to on Brookhurst. Here's the story: The floor manager took our order and didn't even bother asking us what type of bread we wanted. Then he proceeded to greet the two customers that came in after us and asked them what they wanted... which sounded very complicated. I was like...uhhh aren't you going to finish our order first? we're not all in the same party. Moreover, he also seemed preoccupied with their order and then proceeded to yell for his other employees, one to stop standing around and go clean the restroom, and the other to go make the meatball sub the guy in back of me is ordering along with his other 3 subs. So we waited patiently while he cuts ALL the meat and cheese for EACH OF THE SANDWICHES... Then another employee comes in and starts adding condiments onto the subs, but she makes ALL OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME and then after we paid for ours, we had to wait for the two guys in back of us to pay and be served before ours were even wrapped. We have never experienced this encounter ever where we had to wait for everyone in line to have their sandwiches completed before we could pay for our meal. Location: Plenty of parking in this plaza. Food: (total came to be a little under $8 with a coupon, a regular sub is a little bigger than 6 inches here) ~#6 Famous Roast Beef and Provolone on White Bread, Mike's Way. (it was okay, I was fuming with the service so it made the taste even worse than it really was... plus it was drenched in oil and spices, so it was not on par for my taste buds) http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/KqSVxHDoWQeryvoqNmP8TQ?select=wMROwMAKlYJQ3GsXNGqozg ~#7 Turkey and Provolone on White Bread (I'm so glad I told her to do the sandwich my way...but I ruined it by having her adding the spices at the end... this is not their typical peppers only jar... it's filled with spices and oregano, which I don't need in my sandwich. It was almost the perfect combination when I am craving Turkey... but their spices were too much oregano and again I was turned off by the horrendous service) http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/KqSVxHDoWQeryvoqNmP8TQ?select=0f6cYuSMT19z1EG-P9am5Q Tip: Use coupons in the ads they send to your mailbox. I'm addicted to the Italian sub! This place has become one of my favorite sub places. I only come here with a friend, so we can share the giant sub. Yes the giant, and it's sooo good! The Italian bread is soft in the inside and just enough crisp on the outside. Mike's way is the only way to go, at least for me. I love the onions and the vinegar and oil, mmm! So, I know this place is a lil pricey, but they always send coupons in the mail and they seem to always have a "managers special" posted in the store. The managers special is always the best way to go if you plan on sharing. Its a giant sub, 2 drinks, and 2 chips for about 13-14 bucks (it ranges). Let me tell you, the sandwich is huge! You could probably share it with three people.... Give it try, if you get tired of subway, it's worth it! Don't forget your coupon!! read more

I love Jersey Mike's and pick them over other sandwich places but this location is horrible!! The service is what is so bad here. The manager, Tory or Victoria was such a bitch. I went to get 2 free subs because I had 2 Angels tickets from the game on Tuesday (4/21/15). She told me it was 1 per customer. I expressed that the other sub is for a handicapped person in a wheelchair. She simply told me "I already told you, it is 1 per customer". I would have been fine if she just said "sorry but unfortunately we can't do that" but instead she was super rude. Never going to this location again! read more

This is the worst Jersey Mike's I've been to.
