It changed names when it moved to Liberty in 1970 and was in the Kravitz family from 1939 to 2022, when it was sold. I thought I'd stop in to see how it was doing. I had the Roast Turkey sandwich on rye. It was delicious! Lean, great flavor and texture; it was as good as I remembered it! The fries were also exceptionally good - large with a crispy exterior and a fluffy, potato rich interior! They were some of the largest fries I've had! It was great going back in time at the deli!

Unlike many commercial versions of kvass, traditional kvass retains live cultures and has a unique, complex flavor profile. (I liken it to cold root beer, with a hint of sassafrass tea). The brand we purchase comes in a two liter & has live cultures, so it is refrigerated; it features an Orthodox Papal figure. It is delicious! The Tuna is high quality and not overly wet, plus they put a generous portion in the sub. DiBella's offers more topping options including various sweet and/or hot peppers, spinach, and mushrooms. I really appreciate being able to compliment the tuna with some crunchy and spicy items. DiBella's offers high quality subs and other items, prices are a bit higher than other chains, however you are getting better food and bigger portions.
