called ahead at lunch time had a young person answer who sounded as if he had never spoken on a telephone before had me wait while he searched for a pen again this was during lunch hours. I ordered #13 giant. That's it. I got there and before they knew what I ordered or my name they said it wasn't ready then someone said unless you called it in, I said I did and gave my name, she grabbed my bag then helped a woman behind me who proceeded to have issue after issue. Typical if you know the type so after being delayed on an order I placed 20 mins. ahead of arrival I had to cancel, leave and go without lunch because of incompetence and lack of professionalism. I went here for lunch yesterday and saw a young mom holding an impatient toddler trying to pay for her meal with a gift card. After the gift card didn't work despite many attempts, the customer apologized, and said she would go to her car with her kid to look for another form of payment. However, she appeared ready to leave without the food instead of returning to pay for the meal. When the manager realized what happened, he said, "we should have just given it to her," grabbed a bag, threw the order in it, and chased the family to the car to give them the order for free in the middle of a busy lunch hour. I had an amazing sandwich for lunch and great service, but more so wanted to shine a light on the good business/kindness I saw in the process. Just stopped at the Jersey Mike's sandwich shop in Brookfield, CT. First, the manager heard Danielle and I talking about a bag of the Flammin Hot Doritos. Without hesitating he asked us to open up the chips and try them -- on him. He made sure we were not charged. And then, Danielle and I were really moved. A young lady came in asking for a job, saying she had food and counter experience, the same gentleman had her fill out and application and then bought the young lady lunch. If that's not leadership and integrity I'm not sure what is. Right on to Anthony from Jersey Mike's in Brookfield. Can never be certain, but everyone working here looks pretty content at the moment. Otherwise, for whatever reason, there always seems to be some construction worker type trying to redeem 4 coupons for a free meal while an earnest employee stands there humorously confused trying to accommodate the bargains. Meanwhile we all stand there and...wait, and wait some more until Anthony steps in to figure it out. Been going to Jersey Mikes since I was 7 at the Pt Pleasant original...going weekly growing up and living in Manasquan and then the Wall Township JM's owned by a classmate of mine till I was 26 then moved down south. Came to CT in 2004 and found the JM's in Branford and loved it but was not in town too much to get there living in Newtown. So so so glad my favorite joint opened in Brookfield and the employees here are always awesome!!! Sure wish CT would figure out Pork Roll and start selling pork roll egg'n cheese along with sausage and steak egg'n cheese breakfast sandwiches....especially on Sat and Sun morning?!?! Went here a few weeks ago. Got two, regular, Italian combo subs. Was not worth the hype. 20 for two small sandwiches. Don't get me wrong, they were very tasty, but certainly not worth the cost. I went in recently as I was waiting for some watch batteries to be installed next door at Interstate Battery. I had never been in a Jersey Mike's before. I decided to try out a Tuna sandwich. Just lettuce and tomatoes on top. Quite good. Have returned three times since, and consistently find it to be well-staffed behind the counter, resulting in a very quick transaction time. Also, in terms of consistency, I have ordered the exact same thing each time, and was quite pleased each time. I attempt to eat in a very healthy fashion, and the Tuna here is not loaded with salt and/or mayonnaise. Quite different from what I have experienced from grocery store purchases. Another classic day where I go in and one of the girls at the register rolls her eyes at me because I brought in a coupon and she was ringing it up incorrectly. The manager at this location is awesome but for some reason the girls they are hiring have no care for customer service or this is their first time at it and they talk to you like they would their friends. Best Jersey Mike's around! I absolutely LOVE this place. I have been to five different Jersey Mike's and this is the best one with the freshest bread and ingredients. I go here all the time and never have any problems. The staff is always very friendly. I've only tried four different subs but my favorite, that I get every time, is the regular Club Sub #8 Mike's way with cherry pepper relish. Such a huge sandwich that is guaranteed to fill you up. The staff is so friendly and greets you right as you walk through the door. The service is quick, friendly, and the store is always very clean. Love jersey mikes because of this store! The classic philly steak sub I got was pretty bad. I don't know what kind of cheese they used but it tasted kind of yucky and there was too much of it. Bought a turkey sub also. Not sure why I got two. Couldn't make up my mind? I won't eat the turkey until tomorrow so I don't know how it's going to be. People are nice, service is ok but that cheese steak sub was just not good. I had been hiking in the area and just googled for a deli. I didn't even realize it is a chain. I don't ordinarily eat at chain restaurants. I assume they all use the same kind of cheese? Won't try them again. Bleh. The only difference between Subway and this place is the price. This place is more expensive. And I've gotten philly cheese steak subs at Subway's that were a lot better than this one. read more

My boyfriend lives just down the street from this Jersey Mike's and we were excited for it to open. We were there within days of the grand opening and they were PACKED! But even though they were crazy busy, we didn't have to wait too long to get our subs and Brian, the owner, even stopped by our table to say hello and chat with us for a few moments. The food is great! We've been in several times and have both tried a bunch of the sandwiches and have loved each and every one. My favorite is the #8 Sub Club (Jersey Mike's way, of couse) and I'm loving the option of a "Sub in a Tub" so that I can save a few calories and carbs and have it like a salad. AWESOME! Though, the sub rolls they use are really delicious, so it can be a tough choice! I also like that Jersey Mike's as a company, is so philanthropic. The company donates to many different causes including Food Banks, Cancer Research and Veterans organizations. Brian, the owner of this franchise, seem fully committed to this company philosphy and told us that he has lots of plans to give back to the community that supports his business. Gotta love that. Don't forget to sign up for a Shore Points Card (the rewards program) to earn points towards free subs. So I have been here like 3 times and my first experience was not great. I asked for no peppers on my sandwich and the cook forgot probably because he was too busy making a employees meal and it was more important? I went back today and got the same sandwich but in a wrap and when I opened it there was grease everywhere. I called to let them to let them know and the person I spoke with said "that's because you got it in a wrap and you had chipotle mayo on it". He was happy to give me a free sandwich the next time I came in but I wasn't calling for a free sandwich. The wrapper was so greasy you could see through it and I didn't even taste the chipotle in the wrap at all. I'm sorry but I think I'm done with Jersey Mike's. This place has such tasty subs! It was my first time going here after hearing really good things from so many people. I was not disappointed! The shop is very clean and the staff are quite friendly. I work at Best Buy and the owner once stopped in and gave me a card for a free sandwich. I returned his generous gift by buying one and getting one. B/c my experience was so good I'm definitely going to be coming back over and over. This place is SO MUCH better than Subway. Subway is garbage compared to Jersey Mikes. I got a Chicken Parm from Jerseys that tasted just about as good as I have had it at any other sandwich shop. It was very tasty and piping hot too! Next time I'm going to ask for the bread to be toasted. They didn't ask me if I wanted the bread toasted but that's how I like it. Hopefully they'll do it too if I ask. The Philly is stupendous however! Very cheesey and extremely delicious. I've never had a cheesesteak that tastes so good!! Granted I have never had an authentic one in Philly w/ the Cheese Whiz but I'll have to try that one day and compare it to Jerseys. I'm going to eat too many cheesesteaks on my 30 minute break at Best Buy now :) I'm so happy that I tried this place. I'm going to go back tomorrow and the next day and the next day. I stopped by Jersey Mike's in Brookfield and was happy to see tables and umbrellas set up outside. Although it was 95 out, the umbrellas provided nice shade. I really enjoy all the familiar employee faces at this location. I was happy to see social distancing and wearing of masks was in place which put me at ease. For me, there is no greater place in the danbury area to have a made to order fresh sandwich every time. My order was taken quickly and I was off to enjoy my #8 at a table outside. My review is solely based on my visit today. The shop wasn't busy at all, to be honest at first I was the only customer, that change before I checked out. I was quite displeased with a few thing. First off, the young girl who did the lettuce, tomatoes, ect..seemed quite nervous and kept knocking over the sandwich as she was topping it. I politely told her it was okay when stuff wasn't staying on. She seemed to ignore me for her chance at perfection. My second annoying moment was, I simply asked the young girl who then cut my sandwich to cut it into thirds. She proceeded to cut it in half and then one of the halves in half. I brought it to her attention and she just shrugged as though I wasn't going to notice. She quickly wrapped up my sandwich very sloppy and shoved it into the bag. My other issue was I overheard an employee telling a customer that Banana peppers were sweet, that is not so.
