Found Jesters as we were driving through the area looking for a kid friendly, yummy place to grab lunch/brunch on a Saturday. This place hit the spot. Super friendly staff, big table for the 4 of us and puzzles/books on a shelf for the kiddos. Food came quickly and was delicious. They had gluten free bread and non dairy milk options too for coffee. Fresh juices and smoothies as well! We spilled coffee by accident (a fresh cup) and they cleaned up the big mess for us, and even replaced the spilled coffee even though we said they didn't have to. The locals are lucky to have such a quaint little place like Jester's. Every town needs a legit breakfast nook beyond the typical franchise spots. Coffee is "fine" according to the wife. Not terrible and not amazing, she says. Then again, after more than two decades of marriage, I've probably slumped from amazing to fine to annoying. The grilled cheese was a nice treat. I spec'd it with tomato and bacon. While eating, a local did come in and made a beeline for the bathroom. Stopped here for a late breakfast while on vacation. Pleased to see they carried Boar's Head meats. I got one of the specials, which was a breakfast sandwich with egg, spinach, cheese, and...something? It was good! Good price, but when the sandwich came it was way smaller than I had anticipated. But the price reflected that. My husband got a chicken sandwich, but didn't realize that "chicken cutlet" would be breaded and fried. So he didn't eat his. :( We both got drinks: mine an iced chai latte with soy milk. Good! Probably from a powder mix, but I am ok with that. It hit the spot. My hubs got an Americano and was happy with it. I'd try it again, and I fully understand that not asking about the cutlet was our fault. My sister & I got "The Amanda" to take-out for a quick breakfast to eat in the car. The combination on this sandwich is one I would never put together myself. Cream cheese, pesto, bacon & tomato. However, it was really good! Im not crazy about pesto, so I left it off. The bagel was super fresh. My coffee was hot and good. Janie got an Iced Chai Latte which she really enjoyed. Came here with friends for breakfast and coffee. The interior is decorated with older office furniture and tables. They have gotten rid of the conference table that some of the earlier reviews have mentioned and replaced them with smaller tables. They serve typical breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and foods. Everyone in my group ordered off of the daily specials board - so keep an eye out for it because it had some decent options. Personally, I ordered a egg and cheese wrap with onions and tomatoes ($5.00). It does not come with a side so if you're coming here with large appetite - you will be best served ordering a side. We all ordered coffee. This place serves all styles of coffee so you won't be disappointed. I had a medium latte ($3.75) and my girlfriend had a small chai tea latte ($3.00). We just discovered Jesters this morning and we couldn't be happier. The staff is warm and friendly. The coffee is delicious and my chai latte was perfect. I had an Amanda which is cream cheese and pesto and bacon (supposed to have tomato but yuck) on a bagel. SO GOOD. Why hasn't anyone thought of it before? I never realized Jesters existed, but then again, I'm never that far down Federal Road to really go hunting for anything. My coworker and I stopped here on the way back to the office since any local coffee joint is better than Starbucks on any given day, at least in my book. Jesters is very small, but still very roomy inside. The decor is homey and the back end of it even looks like you'd see it in someone's house, especially with the cabinets that they readily use to store ingredients. The seating is minimal, but very welcoming. There were two women working, one ran the counter while the second used a griddle behind the counter to cook up things like eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, etc. Did I mention this place smelled amazing? Since the "kitchen" isn't cut off from the seating area, the whole place just smelled like breakfast. I wish I was hungry enough to get a bacon, egg, and cheese and watch it be grilled in the meantime. We both ordered our separate drinks and paid less for both than what you would pay for one drink at Starbucks (we honestly could have gotten a third and it still would have been under the price limit). The iced coffee wasn't bad, although I did find it bitter after a while, which is usually alright since I can deal with it. My coworker said the same thing about his double shot espresso, but enjoyed it as well. Great cozy place to stop by if you're traveling up Federal Road through Brookfield. read more

I was in town visiting friends for the week but needed a good place to work each morning. I stumbled on Jesters Coffee and found it had everything I was looking for. First, they have the "standard" coffee drinks but they also have a 30oz French Press if you are staying to enjoy it. While I consumed the whole thing, it is probably meant to be shared with a friend. :) Their regularly brewed coffee is smooth and a lot better than what Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts calls coffee. Why is DnD so popular in New England anyway? For breakfast, they have nice hand made items including a bagel w/ cream cheese and a ham & egg sandwich on an english muffin. Both were good. At lunch, I stayed one day to try the tomato & mozzarella on cibata bread sandwich. I absolutely love and recommend that sandwich. All sandwiches are made fresh while you wait. Some old ladies had the chicken salad sandwich and complemented the owner on it as well. The price was around $5 for a sandwich which is a bargain for real, fresh food. Free wifi and every employee I interacted with was nice and helpful. I reserve 5 stars for something truly unique and mind blowing. Jesters has everything I would expect from a coffee shop and it gets my highest rating of 4 stars for that. read more

This is the coffee shop that Brookfield has been waiting for! My sister introduced me to this place a couple of days ago. I've been visiting my parents here for years, and while the others are fine, this place is great! They have a really nice espresso bean. I've interacted with four different staff members and all have been great (especially Meg). There's not a lot of room to sit, but there's enough, and it seems like they do a lot of takeaway business. I didn't get to try the smoothies, but from what I could see the ingredients are all fresh and high-quality. Based on the menu, this place is kind of like a Jamba Juice combined with a great local coffee shop. They offer free Wi-Fi with a strong signal, which seems to be more and more important these days. If you are in Brookfield and need coffee, a healthy smoothie or a nice lunch, this is the place to be! read more

My Friend and I came across this place randomly on yelp and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. They had a great variety of coffee/teas and fresh juices. I had the Power-C juice and it was so tasty, healthy and refreshing. In addition, I had one of the bagel specials which consisted of cream cheese, pesto, bacon and tomato. WOW! I wanted seconds. I'm actually taking my husband tomorrow to try it. My friends' only complaint was that she wished they had more of a variety for bagels. Which I could understand. ​Once we started unpacking the boxes in our new home, we needed to find a place to have breakfast, since we didn't know where our dishes were:). Just down the hill, was this tiny low profile building with a sign saying "Jesters". We love local none franchised places, so we gave it a shot. Just perfect. Nice folks, very reasonably priced food. Having bagels and lox, fresh scones, egg white omelettes was just what we wanted. We became regulars for about 3 weeks. While I love this place they have been slacking the last couple times. I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken, and a orange/beets/carrot juice. The juice was amazing the salad was great so fresh and the dressing but the chicken had gone bad. It tasted spoiled. When I called the person sai oh ok and I'm sorry. Went with a friend for breakfast. I ordered a 3-egg omelet with mozzerella and spinach including buttered toast. The omelet was prepared perfectly and tasted yummy. First of all I love this place especially its coffee and this place is a destination for me not just something I happen to drop in if I am driving by. I rate it's coffee higher than Starbucks and DD. While it's a chain it still feels like an authentic local Brookfield gem. Then why 3 stars only? Because it feels like it is being run as a hobby, as a small venture on the side.
