Jersey Mike's is a chain, as we all all know. The staff here was very friendly and down to earth. I got the #8 toasted, that is my go to for a quick fix. It was nice to have it toasted versus cold. At a previous Jersey Mike's the staff wouldn't toast my sandwich (in California). Here no such issues! Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here. read more

Clean establishment, fast and friendly workers, and the best, freshest subs in town! Yum

Best Sandwich in Altus. Love ordering Mike's way and gotta add the hot pepper spread. Only place to go for subs. read more

Not sure how anyone could not rate this sandwich shop 5 stars.. Show me anything better around for a sandwich.. Always clean, busy, call ahead like we do. clean and clean bathrooms. read more

I decided to try this place as I heard they have gluten free. I was charged $23 for a gluten free sandwich. They forgot all the toppings, bacon, cheese and the sauce. So they put chicken on it and that was it. I took one bite and it was dry and gross. I chucked the whole thing in the trash. What an expensive waste. I'll never go back. Once was definitely enough. I honestly don't know how this place is in business. read more

I've never had a bad experience here. I'm giving 3 stars because I catered a large order here awhile back that cost around $750 and the price per sub was ridiculously high. But the I prefer the quality of their subs over their competitor, so I went with it. read more

Jersey Mikes is presently the top sandwich place on town as evidenced by the foot traffic. Made fresh and when staff is good place is worth the visit. read more

I stopped in today, planning to grab a sandwich to take back to my hotel. The chaotic scene that I encountered upon entering the building was shocking. There was a line that wrapped along the counter, around the room and back to the door. The staff behind the counter was feverishly trying to do everything at once, and it didn't seem to be working out for them. The lady manning the meat/cheese slicer, and who would take the orders and start making the sandwich was madly slicing meat for what looked like 6 or 8 sandwiches set out on the counter in front of her. She was not wearing a hat or hairnet and was constantly wiping the sweat off her head with her sleeve. And I mean constantly. That kind of grossed me out. Then I saw her piling meat onto a sandwich, only to come back to that sandwich seconds later and take some of the meat off to put it on another sandwich that she was working on. I have no idea how she was keeping track of it all. After she finished a sandwich with meat and cheese, she'd slap the order ticket (the paper that she had written the order on) right on top of the meat, put the top layer of bread on and slide it over to the guy that took care of the veggies. I stood there watching this in awe. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. After standing there in a line that wasn't moving for way too long, the guy that mans the "Mike's Way juice" accidentally lost control of his bottle and it shattered on the counter. One sandwich that was sitting in the queue was thrown away, and another one was simply moved out of the way while the broken glass was picked up and thrown away. The counter was given a single swipe with the towel, I guess to clean up the juice and any small glass particles that remained. One swipe isn't good enough. I had seen enough at this point, and turned around and left. Went to Subway down the street and got a sandwich that wasn't madly thrown together in a frenzy. This place is a sloppy, unfocused mess, and the staff seemed incapable of working under a little bit of pressure. read more

Jersey is usually a go to for me. They've gone through a lot of employee changes, which is understandable. But through it all the employees that do work there are always so kind and upbeat. read more

We love this place! The sandwiches are AMAZING!!! The staff is courteous, the inside is very clean and the food is fresh.

Descent sandwiches. Prices are a little high but they offer uniformed services discount which is a win. I was happy with the #9 Michael's Way. Great taste, tough to go wrong with bacon or vinegar and with both your into something riské. Place is very clean and the food is much more fresh than Subway who claim to eat in such a manor. If their cookies were as good as Subway I'd def strive to be a regular patron. Freshness and cleanliness score 4 whoppers in my book although consider locale...not a place I'd die let alone consider to attend in a larger city. Cheers read more

If you like fresh sandwiches on fresh bread, Italian style, there's no reason for this to have any thing less than a five star review. This is just what you would expect any Jersey Mike's, Subway, or Jimmy John's. Eat at this place once a week when I'm in Altus. Five stars, although I don't care for the Parmesan bread personallyBuffalo Chicken Cheese Steak read more

Best sub shop in Altus, hands down! Way fresher and tastier ingredients than Subway. I have had the turkey/Cappadocia and provolone. Philly cheesesteak and original Italian. All were delish! read more

Like other JM's they make a good sandwich. Like other JM's their system can bog down when there's a rush on. Today someone was training so they were even slower...not a complaint, just an observation. read more

Was excited to get Jersey Mike's despite the high prices. i've been meal prepping for a week and only eating chicken and veggies. i pulled into the parking lot and they closed 30 minutes early. this enraged me. i had a meltdown in the parking lot and my mother in law laughed at me. read more

Best sandwhich in town! Me and my hubby go there all the time. We usually get a number 8 with no mayo. A giant and spilt it. A little pricey but worth it. Taste good and fresh & personally the best in town! read more

I tried Jersey Mike's 2 months ago and my addiction is now full blown. I order food "to go" at least once a week. The employees now remember my face and they always give excellent customer service. Because of this I don't mind paying the suggested tip when I swipe my debit card. They have a points system and Monday's you get double points that add up for free sandwiches. The more points you have, the larger the sandwich can be. I have enough to order a large I think. That's the equivalent of two adult subs. The meat and cheese is sliced so thin and the bread is flaky and perfect. When my hubby forces me to eat subway I verbally compare restaurants and complain. It's can be a pricy little habit but I'm happy to spend my money there than anywhere else in town. Do yourself a favor and give it a try ASAP read more

Facility is very clean, staff is very friendly, and the food is pretty good! An excellent sub shop considering the location and limited selection of this town. read more

Always friendly and accurate w my order sometimes there is a line of customers out the door. That says they do a good business

The people at this Jersey Mikes definitely don't know what they are doing. Chaotic ordering process, sub par food, and they accused my niece of stealing a bag of chips (she was eating my wife's chips) even after dropping $50 on their crappy food. I'm sure jersey mikes in any other city but Altus is great. One star because the manager gave everyone at our table a free chocolate chip cookie after her staff accused me of stealing. The cookies were burnt.... Thanks jersey Mike. read more

Ok food and fast service. The big draw back is the price 7+ dollars for a sandwich is robbery. I Wont be going back for that reason. If you don't care about price then you will like. Beats subway for taste and quantity of food. read more

Pretty decent joint. For this town, it is an amazing joint; one of the best. The sandwiches are always pretty good and the customer service is always great. read more

For a small chain sub shop, Jersy Mike's Subs does an excellent job of making a great sub. I am from the northeast where in the older days, there was a sub shop or two or more in every town. That was back in the days before Subway came along. The subs made at Jersey Mike's kind of bring back the memories of those sub shops back then. They do not skimp on ingredients and the bread always seems to be fresh from the oven. I have never received any meats or vegetables that tasted old or near its shelf life. The entire crew is nice whether you are their only customer or part of a long line. I do enjoy using their website to order ahead and have never had to wait because the order was not ready regardless of how busy they were at that time. They have a good large menu to choose from including hot sandwiches. read more

This place is solid. I feel like its food fresh. Its kinda pricey compared to subway but theres a reason. Its way better. Service is fast and do "mike way" they put some good stuff on your sub. The workers are nice and the place is usually pretty clean. read more

Food was descent, workers did not know daily specials (which happens) but were incredibly rude when asked about the specials and with other normal interactions, hopefully they can receive some customer service training.
