The produce section is beautiful offering many staple items and cauliflower as big as my head! The desserts are mind blowing, chocolate, fruit, cake, rolls, tarts, gluten free...all bases are covered here! There is even a soup stand with at least 6-8 selections, to-go foods both cold and warm. Lunch options, dinner options, snacks...it's all available there! Lastly the dog treats, they are homemade and brought in by the baker/owner of the small local business on a regular basis. Several items in the store are sourced locally and the prices are comparable to other stores, maybe a little more for specialty items. All team members encountered are willing to help and answer questions and everyone was smiling and in a genuine good mood. Rare! There is legit something for everyone and they are now on my weekly list of stops to make!

They have an unbelievable selection of high quality meats, cheeses, soups, fresh foods, deli, condiments, breads, fresh produce, and beer and wine. The highlight for me is the meat counter specifically. There are always multiple employees asking if you need help with anything and making suggestions if you're unsure (especially when it comes to the snack sticks, jerky, etc). The hot soup bar is amazing as well. Hands down best soup(s) i have ever purchased at a market. There are too many other great things to mention. Monticellos will continue to be my Go-To for all of the above. Keep up the good work!

The employee described how they made their fresh sandwiches and what they had to offer. After it is assembled, they can even toast your sub on a panini maker. I had the King sub, which was fantastic, along with a combination of discounted chips and a fountain beverage. They also offer homemade cookies and soup. Flat-top seating with an essential atmosphere. Clean restroom. Bottle soda, water, and sports drinks are available. I will return and recommend.

I brought my husband here in his birthday because this place is the only place that serves Indonesian food close to Kalamazoo in Michigan. (Served on Friday and Saturday only) The Indonesian food offers last only until the end of November but i truly wish if they make it a permanent dish on the menu. We ordered beef rending and chocolate lovers toast. (The cafe is specialized in toast dessert) Oh my! I can't discribe enough how delicious both were. The beef was very tender and very delicious. It came with basmati Rice, salad , cucumber and Indonesian crackers. For $17 only. It was a good portion and it eas served in a very eyes satisfying way. Very good deal.100/10 The chocolate lovers toast was beyond our expectations, it came with vanilla ice cream and filled with cinnamon and chocolate sauce. 10/10 The owner cucu helped in celebrating my husband birthday and arranged for the surprise. There was a japanese maids show in the same day taking place at the cafe. Fun and entertaining! I highly recommend this place! And I am definitely considering myself a regular her from now on!

Working hard, or Charley's working? Nah I'm kidding, the employees here were fine…read more Located at the Meridian Mall in Okemos this is a pretty meh sandwich shop which I really think is awful and substandard and while it's better than Subway so is licking the toilet seat so I would strongly advise you not to come here but if you're stuck in this mall and you really want a sandwich then it's not going to kill you and it's definitely better than something you would get in a gas station or Subway or something like that.

I came in on a Saturday (8/22/15) around 4:45pm to shop at the mall and get some food. The reason I…read moream leaving 1 star is not because the food is terrible (although it wasn't very good), but more so because of the staff. Here are the reasons. 1.) The two employees behind the counter were having a conversation and even though I was standing there ready to order, it took them a good 20 seconds to wrap up their conversation and acknowledge my presence. 2.) I ordered the ultimate fries with the ranch on the side. The guy behind the counter (with the tattoos on his forearm) literally grabs a tray of fries that were sitting there with ranch on it, throws some toppings on it, and hands it to me. I reeeeally didn't want to eat cold fries that were made who knows when. Where did these fries even come from and how long were they sitting there with ranch on top? They were really soggy looking. I reminded him him that I wanted the ranch on the side and he looks at me and says "I have to make it again then." I paused for a moment thinking "okay? what are you waiting for?" He really tried to make me feel bad about it and after a little attitude, he went to making them again. I even apologized (for making him do his job perhaps) and thanked him when my order was up. 3.) A third male employee comes outta nowhere while I was eating. He really caught my attention because as he was walking towards Charley's, he dropped a really large stack of sauce containers and made a big scene. Here is the really DISGUSTING part. Instead of throwing those dirty contaminated containers away, with the help of the guy with the tattoos on his forearm, they picked them up took them behind the counter and restocked their supply. Do they really not have a clue how filthy the floor of a food court in a mall is? I will never eat at Charley's again!
