BUYER BEWARE!! FRAUD Salesman Joe, general manager et al are refusing culpability for falsifying my income in order to approve me. Multiplied my income by 350% and did so after I self reported, and then had me docu sign a fraudulent document without my knowledge. I found this out and immediately started pursuing return once I discovered it. Offering me 8k penalty to do so. They have been made well aware of my desire to get rid of the car since day 3 of purchase but accuse me of it just being "buyers remorse". Also stated no sales tax on ANY LEASE but it's only for Maryland registrants. Currently working on a dealer issue report with Toyota finance and next step MD Attorney General and BBB. My trade in loan was finally paid this past week. I demand my $$ back and am looking for anyone else who has caught Jerry's slipping fraudulent numbers into their purchase documents. Please contact me. I am pissed because down the line if my vehicle gets repossessed, Jerry's can claim I WAS THE ONE who lied on my income self report. Update- submitted report to the Maryland AG

In every review, they respond with "they'll provide feedback to management." Does it look like that's working? **Warning: Deceptive Practices at Jerry's Toyota of Baltimore - A Cautionary Tale** My recent experience with Jerry's Toyota of Baltimore was nothing short of a disaster. If you value transparency and honesty, I urge you to steer clear of this dealership. I was in the market for a Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter and received a VSPEC from Jerry's Toyota quoting a total of $65,820.00. This included Base MSRP ($63,400.00), Factory Installed Packages & Accessories ($60.00), Port Installed Packages & Accessories ($865.00), and Delivery Processing and Handling ($1,495.00). This total matched the price listed on both Toyota's official site and Jerry's own website, which I thought was fair and transparent. Armed with this information, I made the four-hour round trip from Fairfax to Baltimore, bringing along my 5-year-old daughter and all necessary paperwork for a trade-in. I was ready to complete the transaction at the agreed-upon price. Instead, what I encountered was egregious and unprofessional. Upon arrival, I was presented with a new "write-up" that included a shocking $12,500 market adjustment. This exorbitant fee was neither mentioned in any of their communications nor listed on any of the sites where the price was advertised. Market adjustments, while not uncommon, should always be transparently disclosed upfront. The fact that Jerry's Toyota waited until after I made the long drive to present this inflated charge is not just deceitful--it's a betrayal of trust. Despite my frustration and the inconvenience caused--having to reinstall a car seat and prepare for a two-hour drive back to Virginia with my daughter already past bedtime--they offered to halve the market adjustment. However, this was far too little, far too late. I came prepared to buy at the advertised price, and anything less than that is unacceptable. Having worked in car sales myself, I understand that this kind of behavior is not just unprofessional but entirely unethical. It's clear that Jerry's Toyota is not a dealership you can trust. **What You Can Do:** 1. **File a Complaint:** If you've been affected or want to prevent such practices from continuing, please file a complaint with Toyota at [Toyota's Support](https://support.toyota.com/s/questions-comments?language=en_US) and with the Maryland State Attorney General at [Maryland Attorney General's Office](https://www.marylandattorneygeneral.gov/Pages/CPD/Complaint.aspx). 2. **Leave Reviews:** Share your experiences on Google and Yelp to help others avoid similar pitfalls. 3. **Shop Elsewhere:** Consider visiting Toyota dealers that use SmartPath, a platform that ensures price transparency and fairness, to avoid the deceitful practices witnessed at Jerry's Toyota. Let's hold dealerships accountable and ensure that no one else has to endure the frustration and deception I faced. Thank you for reading and spreading the word. Edit: I emailed Mattb@jerrystoyota.com that evening and he didn't respond.

Got my car serviced right before New Years. There was dirt all over the inner driver side door.

Don't buy your Toyota here! Classic bait-n-switch sales tactics with Jerry's Toyota. Matt who claims to be the General Manager, would not honor an online advertised price of $57,203 for a 2024 GR Supra claiming I didn't live in the "correct" zip code, according to him. That they were only honoring this price for "local customers" (yeah right), yet I live in Maryland which is the state where their dealership is located. They advertise one price to get you in, then try to scam you out of $4,500 more later. Never dealing w them again, you guys need a new GM! Matt is scaring away your customers

The laughable price they want for the car.

I got a car from this location and immediately the A/C died the next day. I took it back since they have what was advertised as a 7 day return to exchange the vehicle. After sitting around the dealership for 4+ hours they finally agreed to let me exchange the vehicle and that I would just need to pay the difference for the new vehicle. Once it came time to fill the paperwork out, they showed me the door price that added an additional $2500 for Lojack, which they claim is already installed on the vehicle and not negotiable (they said the same for the first vehicle I purchased with the dead AC but the cost of that Lojack was only $800). Unfortunately I had no choice since I couldn't have my money refunded, so I had to go through with that sale with the $2500 markup of something thats basically a glorified Airtag. So beware of this place. They will find ways to scam with you these markups that are not negotiable while they claim its because its already installed (remember I was there for 4+ hours, most of that was probably them installing the Lojack device). Ultimately its my fault for not walking out on the first purchase when they added the markup, but if anyone wants to save time and money I'd recommend not dealing with these people. They're also incredibly rude on top of that. Avoid this place if you're buying a used car.

THIS IS FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT:…read more I brought my Honda Prologue here because I received a recall notification. It was a safety issue of the infotainment system blacking out, which negates the ability to access the rear camera, speed, etc. I hadn't had any specific issues, but... that's what a safety recall is about, right, a preventative measure. I've read several things on the Prologue threads about the recall and how some dealerships were having problems uploading the updates necessary to achieve the end result of the recall. There were also non-safety-related updates involved. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get a ride home. I have another vehicle, so I just wanted to get back home as I knew, or figured it would take longer than the 1-day Mr. Artez Scott advised. I also requested a tire rotation as I was scheduled for a road trip in the coming weeks. The service area is nice. It's only a year old. I remember it was being built when I purchased my car. The waiting area is nicely equipped with a TV and a laptop charging workstation. Day 1, Artez calls me to explain the car was rejecting the updates. He couldn't understand as the Prologue before mine had updated in a few days. They wanted to keep it overnight. No problem. Day 2: What's going on? Again, I have a car so that's not the issue. I just need to know the status of my Prologue. I had to call and leave a message to get an update. Day 3: Still no updates. My car is rejecting them, but they will continue to try. Okay. Day 4: No update, no call, no text, no E-mail. I told Artez he didn't even have to talk to me. He sent me an e-mail the first day, so I kept responding to that. He could've texted, E-mailed back just COMMUNICATE. What part of customer service don't people in that industry understand? So, I drove there. An unnecessary waste of my time, but I JUST wanted an update. My car is still rejecting the updates. I asked, what do you recommend? Should I take it to another dealership? They'll try through the Memorial Day weekend. Day 9: Send me the shuttle, I'd like to pick up my car. This was after hours of attempting to contact somebody in the service department. I ended up calling the gentleman who sold me my car to attempt to contact them. This whole interaction could have been 100% better if ONLY the lines of communication had been maintained. Artez could have texted me with updates. Something short, I'm still working on it. Can we keep it for another day? Easy Peasy. At one point, Artez asked if I wanted to speak to his manager. What? Did I ask for your manager? Then he stated they didn't have any rentals? Did I ask for a rental? I was not hostile; I didn't raise my voice or anything during any interaction. What happened to customer service? smh. He could have at least had them rotate my tires.

I arrived for my appointment left keys in vehicle was escorted inside service center and was told to check in with front desk. I spoke with Mr. London Hall told him i was her for an oil change he said okay have a seat. I sat down 4 mins later Mr. Hall approached me and said my past works card was expired would i like to renew for a new works package. I told Mr. Hall no i want what i selected online just the oil change for $28.17. At that time Mr. Grayson Harazin who was seated to the left of Mr. Hall stated that price online was for the labor only. I was dumb founded at 1st then ask well how much is just an oil change nothing extra Mr. Harazin stated $89.00. I said thats crazy i could get Jiffy lube to do a standard oil change for $40 which is still a little high. Mr. Hall said i can get 4 oil changes for $100 with a years time with the works and asked if id rather have that i said okay reluctantly. So i returned to my seat and got back online to see if any small print said this price is just labor price i didnt see any such thing written on website. I returned to speak with Mr. Hall, Mr. Harazin stepped away and was in the shop. I told him no where does it state that the price online is just labor. I told him that bait and switch pricing which is illegal i wanted to speak with a manager he disappeared for 7 mins returning with Mr. Harazin who said he was the manager. I stated that the price online is $28.17 no.where does it say labor price i told him this is illegal maryland has consumer protections against predatory business practices such as this. Mr. Harazin said those prices listed all say "starting at" i advised him that only two stated that the others give firm pricing. Mr. Grayson said he would give me the oil change at $28.17 but he would have them Al Packer Ford change the website. I got my vehicle back they comped the oil change. I am writing because what they tried to do is illegal bait and switch. Up selling is legal but you cant lie to a consumer to get them to switch a service. They advertise a price to get you there then get you to pay more with unhonest tactics. I am happy i didnt have to pay for the oil change after all that nonsense but how many people has this exact tactic been used on. People who dont know any better would just except the 4 oil changes for $100. Which is $25 an oil change by the way so why is a singe oil change $89. Something needs to be done about this. No one should have to go through this kind of unethical business practices.
