Dan Larson, the owner of Jerry's Roofing, was great to work with. He was on time, professional and gave an honest assessment of the roof with our options for a repair. Both the quotes he provided were reasonable and within the expected range for a reroof and re-shingle. He gave pros and cons for the re-shingle vs reroof and we ended up having the house reroofed. The day of the reroof Dan's team showed up on time and prepped the site laying down tarps around the house and in the garage. They quickly completed the tear off and re-shingle even fining some rotten wood along the way and completed the roof in a timely fashion! Communicating with Dan was great throughout the process where he actively kept an eye out for potential issues during the re-roof. We had an old HVAC system replaced and Dan made sure to call and make sure the HVAC team didn't leave venting disconnected. Overall working with Jerry's Roofing was great and I would highly recommend them. read more

We had 3 roofing companies came in to give estimates. Two of them showed up in nice cars, clean cut and were very complimenting. Dan actually returned my call the next day, he showed up in his work truck, looked like he just came from a job. We decided to go with Dan because he's not a salesperson, he actually does the work with the crew and be on site every day. Also, not only he install new roofs, he also repair them. When we asked him about some fancy new features mentioned by other sales person, he gave us his honest opinions. Overall, he came across very down to earth. So we signed the contract with him right after our meeting. On the installation day, Dan and his crew arrived on time. They worked very efficiently and did a great job cleaning up. They finished our house in 1.5 days (originally estimated 3 days). We took Dan's suggestion to go with Solar Skin and Cooling roofing material, also installed 6 vents on the roof. The difference is huge. We used to have AC and fans on 8 hrs a day, now we don't turn them on until 3pm on a very hot day. We even thought about replacing the AC unit, but now it seems unnecessary. Thanks Dan! It has been an excellent experience working with Jerry's Roofing. Highly recommended! read more

I had a couple of roofers come out to give me a quote for a full replacement. Jerry's wasn't the cheapest or most expensive, but I appreciated the owner Dan's communication and timeliness, so I went with them - and I'm glad I did. Dan and his team did a great job from tear-down to the finishing touches, they worked quickly, and the new roof looks really nice. Dan and his team kept me informed throughout and also went the extra mile keeping things cleaned up at the end of every day. I don't anticipate needing another roof for a long time due to their quality work but if I did I would definitely go back to Jerry's! read more

Dan gave us an affordable quote and completed the work quickly and beautifully! Thank you Dan!

I've been in the construction industry for over 30 years and have done roofing before. But my body just isn't there anymore. Dan (owner) was exactly the type of contractor I look for. He is very detailed driven. His crews were on time, courteous, conscientious. At all times they maintained a safe and clean operation from start to finish each day. Our roof took three days from start to finish. I'm an extremely detailed construction manager by occupation. Every detail from demolition, roofing repairs, each layer of installation to final trim details exceeded my expectations. Products selected from the underlayment, shingles, dormer vents and painted metal trim were all compatible and installed per industry standards. This is speaking from my work experience again of over 30 years in the trades. Dan and his crew were in constant communication with me during the process to flag any new unforeseen item which we added to the project. The quote I received was very competitive. I selected Dan based on price, quality, experience, license, and insurance reviewed and the personal references I received of his work. The other five quotes were either extremely low or overpriced based on poor estimating practices which spoke volumes of the companies I engaged. If you are looking for a quality, long lasting and professionally installation, Dan is your MAN! read more

Left a huge mess in my attic. When I called them they said too bad, it's in the contract that they don't t have to clean up after themselves. Boards, trash the entire attic is full. They refused to clean it and I had to hire someone to clean up after them and rent a dumpster. Do not recommend! read more

Wonderful, caring service folks. Highly professional and worth the wait. Great job and service!

Totally recommend Jerry's Roofing for a complete replacement of your home's roof. I did my homework and researched roofers servicing my area, La Habra. Using Yelp and stopping to inquire at live job sites that I occasionally came across. I ended up getting four estimates in writing and then proceeded to compare apples to apples since we were dealing with the exact same project, my house. Jerry's estimate was not the lowest or highest. After noticing that some estimates didn't include the cost for a permit and allowance for damaged wood, like this estimate did, it became clear to me that this would be the winner. After booking the job, Dan Larsen the Owner, Estimator, Installer gave me a start date and kept in touch with me because of rain in the forecast. Rain never materialized and job was started and completed with beautiful and perfect results thanks to employees Bill and Jessie. Therefore, I would personally recommend Jerry's Roofing to family and friends. read more

I called Jerrys roofing for a roof estimate. He returned my call the same day and scheduled my free estimate at my convenience. The owner of the company Dan came out and was professional and polite and seemed happy to answer all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable . Dan the owner came out to provide an estimate, after having two other extremely outrages estimates, I hired Jerry's to replace a 440 sq. ft. patio roof, per City of Whitter's building code, because I knew it was a fair price. I suggest everyone do their homework on what the cost of materials and labor are theses days before you review a business. Dan is very honest and fair. He will not sell you something you don't need. He also looks out for his workers safety. The crew came with masks on and since I wasn't going to be outside I said I didn't mind if they took them off while they worked. They were a great group of workers, they actually seemed to be having fun while doing a great job. When they were done they cleaned everything up. Here's a little shout to Brian to not carry roofing materials up the ladder. Thanks Dan and crew job well done! read more

We recently contacted Dan who gave us great prices and service for 2 separate roof jobs. 1st was an apartment in Boyle Heights which had lots of roof rot and shingles on top of a gravel roof. Tear off was very quick as was the install of a very nice roof. Importantly, Dan was key and very professional on dealing with some issues with the LA city code inspector. Tenants were also happy that there was no interruptions and was clean. Dan also gave us a great price for our home in Whittier. Dan and Fausto were very accommodating with helping us on our installation date needed to be moved up because the birth of our new baby. Installation was great, clean and fast. Again, Dan was able to help with some issues with local code inspection. All of his staff was professional, clean and fast. read more

Look no Further, Jerry's Roofing not only beats competitive pricing, but had our roof on in 3 day. "Dan's the Man" Came out gave us a quote, gave us colors to choose from, saw his work with recent houses that he has done and we were in. I have the old wood shingles 1st day they came and took the Shingles off while keeping the house clean, 2nd Day Plywood was laid down, the old shingles had no Plywood back in the days, 3rd Day new shingles were delivered and completed on 3rd day with inspection completed. We needed our roof replaced and called around to get a few quotes. Jerry's Roofing responded immediately, came out and gave us a free quote, answered all our questions, and gave us a very fair quote. This year my plan was to get my roof replaced. I got about 8 quotes from multiple license contractors that I got from Yelp and I ended up going with Jerry's Roofing. He was professional when he came to my house, called me back when I had questions or left voicemails, and was impressed with the job itself. My house is not that big but some other contractors were giving me 3-6 days to do the job with a bunch of "it depends" statements when I asked questions. Dans crew was able to remove the roof and get it ready for initial city inspection in 1 day and once the city gave the green light he was able to finish it another day. He was keeping me informed of the work and the additional items I asked he was able to take care off without any issues. His pricing was fair when compare to the other companies and overall I was very satisfied with the work his team did. The city came and finished the final inspection without any issues and it even rain to test the work yesterday and there were no issues. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again if I need too. read more

This company is excellent! Had my original shake roof completely torn off and replaced with new shingles. My dad warned me it would be a messy job and I would have a lot to clean up after. Not with these guys! They put tarps everywhere around my house and in my attic. You could literally not tell they had been there when they go home for the day due to their excellent clean up. They pulled the roof off and had plywood down in 1 day. Then completed the job the following day. My wife and I could not be more impressed! Dan the owner is so easy to work with, and always answered his phone when I called. His team is very professional and they really put out quality work!!!! Our neighbors have all complimented us on our beautiful new roof AND how quick this team completed the job. Dan is definitely doing what he knows best...he had inspector lined up just as tear off was completed. Dan was here to answer all our questions. He is a hard worker just like his crew. I own a rental house that desperately needed a new roof. Since the rental property is relatively far from where I live, it was important that I find someone I could trust and would be easy to work with. When I called Jerry's Roofing on a Saturday, I received a response to my call within two hours. I was impressed with the quick response from Jerry's even though it was a weekend. Earlier in June this year they came on time as they discussed with a large crew to remove all the old roofing materials. They also obtained the appropriate city permits and followed all applicable laws and regulations. After the new roof was installed, the crew cleaned up everything and made sure everything was in proper working order before they left. The whole process was completed in less than three days, much to my surprise. Overall, they are a very efficient and professional company. I would strongly recommend Jerry's Roofing to anyone looking to have roof work done. read more

I hired Jerry's Roofing to do a full replacement on my roof. Dan and Fausto were prompt, considerate, professional, fair and knowledgeable. I got quite a few rafters replaced, sun reflective plywood and a decent grade asphalt shingle roof installed for a reasonable price. They are also flexible, approachable, and willing to answer any question or concerns the client may have, thereby making the rather daunting task of replacing a roof for the first time a fairly smooth process.Jerry's Roofing are they guys to go to for your roofing needs. We just finished cutting the check to pay for our new roof. We did it gladly. Dan's crew was lightning quick. They showed up at 7 am and had my entire roof stripped I think before 10 am. It was a big operation. They put down tarps and made sure everything was covered. By about 2pm our entire house and detached garage were fitted with plywood sheeting and ready for shingles. The next day, the crew showed up at 7 am and got right to work putting on the shingles. By 2 PM they were cleaning up after finishing the entire job...done...over! Everything was left spotless too. A great price and a great job. The entire crew is made up of beasts! They never stopped working. We highly recommend. read more

I would not recommend working with this company, thank goodness I never hired them. I was never able to get an estimate from the beginning because they never showed up and after calling them about it they still never returned my call.
