I admit that I am afraid to write this review. I rarely give out one-star reviews, and this being…read morethe club's first Yelp review is even more daunting. However, I must give my honest review of my experience here. This is a Latin night club located by the highway. It's a flashing beacon in the dark. We were immediately put off by the fact that they charged a $10 cover. I understand a cover for some clubs that are really nice, but not for this one. On top of that, they also charged an additional fee. It may have been a credit card fee, but they just told us it was $10 and did not inform us there would be an extra fee. I was expecting some reggaeton, bachata, or salsa as this is my previous experience with Latin night clubs, but it was more Western. People were dressed in cowboy attire with jeans, boots, and hats, and they were country dancing. Really not the vibes I was expecting for a Latin night club, but I imagine the theme changes on different nights. Also, they advertise that they have "midget wrestling" on Sundays (their exact words on the poster). Two people weren't let in at first because they were allegedly intoxicated, except for they were acting completely polite, alert, and not being unruly at all. Then the bouncer wrote W's on their hands for water only and let them in while charging double the cover cost. Later the owners said that if you get in an Uber while leaving the club drunk, you are responsible if there's an accident, and the club gets charged for it. She said, "You are taking money away from our kids and our family." I understand if the driver is drunk, but a passenger is not liable for an accident. I did my research and could not find any information about this law existing.

Had an awesome brunch here this morning. The food was all really good. I got the southwestern…read moreskillet which was the perfect blend of cheesy spicy potatoes and scrambled eggs, with some chicken sausage to round it all out. I also tried a bite of the strawberry cream waffle and it was delicious! Crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy inside. The service was quick and friendly, and overall just a great experience. I'm visiting from out of town, but would definitely come back here if I'm ever in the area.

Since I…read morehadn't had a good waffle in awhile, so I decided to check it out based on generally positive reviews. Well first, the place is inviting for people of a certain age as well as for young people with many decorations evocative of the hippie era. It's clean and very pleasant. The menu is ambitious, I think they try too hard to be cute. And though the service was excellent, it all came down to the food for me. I ordered the Birdie Trio. It sounded interesting. But too many of these restaurants trying to do chicken and waffles take the shortcut and use processed boneless chicken parts reformed to look like an actual natural piece. I was supposed to get a thigh on each waffle. The chicken vaguely resembled thighs. But the meat was white and very salty. Not good. Should I ever drop in again, I'll stick with a more traditional combination and maybe my extra will be better. And oh, that credit card machine is set at a default of about 22% tip and that's on top of tax. Watch out!

Who still does this in this modern age!?? I understand when this is done in super hole-in-the-wall restaurants where prices are kept very low. This is a well-established restaurant with normal prices! I paid $20 total for my meal. I thankfully read the reviews in advance and learned about the surprise "non-cash adjustment" fee, so I came prepared, but this was troubling. I liked the booth seating in the restaurant and the cozy vibes. The food was mixed. They gave us complimentary garlic bread, which was pretty good. I opted for the chicken fettuccine alfredo, and my friend got the linguine primavera, which is vegetarian. I added a "small salad" for $1 as it seemed appealing, but it was a big mistake. I described the salad to my friend as "gross" (not a word I like to write in reviews, but it so accurately describes my thoughts). It was an assortment of lettuce and some other unknown vegetables absolutely bathed in vinaigrette. Like, half the bowl was just vinaigrette soup. I did think the fettuccine alfredo was decent though, and the chicken was moist and soft. My friend said her pasta was fine. Neither of us finished our meals, even though the portion size didn't appear to be that large.
