Place is amazing. Great deal on "used" balls. I quote the word used because they look as if they were hit one time and my score stays the same compared to brand new ones of the same version. Can find amazing deals on used clubs too. Not saying they'll have a full bag of 2-5 year old clubs there for a better deal but if you lose an iron or a wedge, slight chance you might be able to find a match or something close to it. For a good price and condition. Havent tried it yet but they added a simulator to the back and can now do fittings. Will try out soon Friendly staff, they have what you need. Jerry's is by far the best place in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area to purchase golf balls. Huge selection of all different types of golf balls so whatever ball you play they will have it. All at great prices. An overall very fun store to go in to if you love golf. But the hidden gem about this place is the owner (David) He is an amazing golf instructor! After 3 lessons I was compressing the golf ball like never before and I'm now able to get that spin and stop ball flight when chipping around the green. I've never been able to do that before. I bought a driver from Jerry's Golf Store and the owner was extremely helpful. This driver has worked well for me and he even gave me a tip on an exercise that would help me get my accuracy and distance back. I have been driving the ball 220-240 over the last few years. This weekend, after practicing this exercise, I drove #18 par 4 within 68 yards of the green. I was only 20 yards from the front of the green. This guy knows what he is talking about and can help your golf game get better. read more

New owners doubled the price for golf balls. That is certainly their right as business owners. After all, they are in business to make money...I respect that. In fact, I own my own business and over time I have significantly increased the fees that I charge my clients. By doing so, I absorb the risks and rewards of those increases. If I price myself out of the market, that's on me. As far as I'm concerned, that's what Jerry's has now done. As far as golf balls go, the value is relatively definable. At full retail, a dozen balls is $49 for brand new Pro V1's. I'm not gonna drive to Jerry's, sort through a bunch of balls to find the ones that meet my personal standards (I don't like logos, I prefer high numbers...which they no longer separate, etc) for $36 a dozen. I'll pay the extra buck a ball for new (or buy them for even less when they're on sale). Congrats on the acquisition of Jerry's. I hope that doubling the price and losing more than half of your long time customers proves worth it for you. You just helped the PGA Tour Superstore gain this customer. It was great while it lasted.
