Jerry's Cleaners needs to work on their customer service skills. I called today and the lady cut me off mid sentence yelling about 4 times in the phone for me to "Hold on." Not sure what was going on but I didn't appreciate that. I then asked if she could provide an estimate for steaming a dress and she couldn't even give me a range of what I could expect to pay and instead wanted me to bring the dress first then give me a price. Is there no limit to how much they would charge for steaming a dress? I'm not gonna lug my dresses over there if I'm not aware of how much I'm gonna pay, because If it ends up being a high price I would have to find another place and that's just a waste of time that I do not have. I ended up finding a better place that was able to give me the minimum and maximum amount they charge for this particular service. read more

Avoid this place if you can. I brought a brand new, unworn, pair of jeans in for starching. These unprofessional cleaners stained my jeans with what looks like bleach. When I came in to ask what had happened, I wasn't offered any explanation and was instead yelled at. The lady in the front wouldn't even let me speak when another employee came in to yell as well. This place Jerry's Cleaners ruined my brand new 501s, I took them in on Monday they said they would be ready on Tuesday before 5. Then I went on Tuesday and they said they had to wash them again , I went on Wednesday and said they had a spot. When I went Thursday to pick them up they had a detergent spot and completely ruined the jeans. They said they didn't do it but that was not true. They were brand new jean never again am I going back. I don't not recommend this place unless you want your brand new expensive jeans to be ruined. Soooo Disappointed . read more

Jerry's Cleaners 940 East Dominguez St. in the city of Carson, turn a black and white sports jacket from Macy's, to Gray and White. The owner was very disrespectful and told me that I waited too late. What does too late mean when you have your clothes cleaned and you put them in the closet until you need them. There's no signs warning you to inspect your clothes prior to leaving. The question is if I did point it out that day when I picked it up the jacket they had destroyed my jacket what would she done? It seems they are not held accountable for being a professional Cleaners . She didn't even offer to reimburse the cost of cleaning, oops, I meant to say, destroying my jacket. Would I do business with them again? Absolutely not!!! Would I recommend this jerry's Cleaners who only come into the community to sell a service that they won't be held accountable and correct an error is made on there part. I am' not angry. I am disappointed the fact that I went to a business in my community to support them and all they did was say "sorry!! You too late. I've been going to this cleaners for a while mainly because they're close to my house. They were never great but it was primarily due to convenience. I wouldn't recommend anyone take anything of significant quality there. They've slightly damaged multiple pieces of mine in the past but this time was the last straw. I took in a 100% silk dress to get cleaned. It took them longer than anticipated to clean because according to them I had a grease stain. Fine. I pick up the dress today and the entire dress is damaged from top to bottom and front to back. It looked like someone ran a warm iron over it and ruined it. No sign of a grease stain. Not to mention, they've dry cleaned this dress in the past with no problem. The worst part is they didn't mention anything to me when I picked up. It's pointless to even go back because the dress is clearly permanently damaged but they will NEVER get my business again. read more

I was looking for a dry cleaning place on the way home from work.. they're in a perfect spot on my way home from the train station, they don't close until 7pm, so just enough time for me to swing by. The staff is really friendly and nice, and the prices at this place are pretty reasonable. Just had my dress from a wedding taken in for cleaning and they caught that it needed a second washing to get rid of the stain (better than me taking it home and finding it out myself). They were sincere in their apology for not calling me sooner, but no big deal. My first visit here they offered a 10% discount and I don't think they even charged me to sew the buttons back onto my wool coat. Between the staff, quality of work, location, and the price.. this is definitely my new dry cleaning place :) read more

Awful experience, I brought in 3 pieces of clothing to this place, one was a black suit jacket that was dirty and needed dry cleaned for a business trip, I picked up my things over a week later just in time to go on my trip, I paid $30 and realized absolutely nothing was done to it, it still had a huge makeup stain on one of the arms and it smelled dirty just the way I gave it to them and still charged me for it. I went back in to complain and the worker (Sydnee) told me they wouldn't refund me the money because "the service was already done" , service for what ??? They didn't do anything!! My parents also taught my to always seek out the best deals. So when I began bringing my dry cleaning to Jerry's Cleaners, I had a great appreciation for how I was treated. I am always greeted with a smile and sometimes even a hug! I've also challenged Jerry's Cleaners with some embarrassing stains but you know what? Jerry eats up my stains and spits them right out! Great place. Always fast service. Clothing is always perfect. I have only had to ask them to re-do a shirt one time because of the type of fabric. They were completely awesome about it. The service here is so unprofessional. There cleaning and pressing service is subpar. You ask to have no creases in the sleeves of your shirt or blouse and you end up with triple creases. Clearly no time is being taken when treating your clothes. And when asked to have the item (s) repressed (and it's over 3 hours before closing) they say there's nothing they can do until the following day. I would never recommend this cleaners to anyone. They have a quicker turnaround than some of the other cleaners in the neighborhood. But, if you give them a lot of clothes..... (I'd usually bring over 20 items each time) some of them will run away. When I asked one of the guys to doublecheck if any clothes were still not returned to me., he said "No" and didn't even look. The next time I counted before and after and guess what? When I got home, I was one short of what was on my receipt. I could use my gas to go back and confront them, but I'm done. I don't have time for this. Won't go back. I definitely do not recommend. Ever since the cleaner's was sold it has went down hill. I have been a customer of Jerry's Cleaners since 1985 and never once had any problems with my cleaning. Now since they recently have new owners my shirt I had cleaned came back with multiple pin holes on the shirt and as of last week they have lost my clothes and are not even trying to reconcile the situation. All I hear from the owner is "I will try to call my other customers and see if they have your clothes". This is the worst cleaner's!!!!!!! They have lost my business for good!!!!! I've been coming to this cleaners for about five years now. I live in LA but work down in the south bay and they're super convenient and a pretty good price. I take them everything from designer shirts to my fluff and fold never any issues. I know that they lost profit on that problem because a lot of other cleaners refused to take care of the stain but this cleaners didn't. Lost our clothes, the first gentleman we spoke with was very helpful and said he would contact the person that picked up our clothes by mistake BUT after going back we got the woman (guessing his wife, owner) and she was so rude, uncooperative and so angry (for some reason) you would think HER clothes had gotten lost. She was 100% sure my son had picked up the clothes I'm guessing she knows us personally and knows exactly who my son is and how he looks for her to be so sure. Anyway she said the man was not going to call me because they gave me my clothes. So she mumbled something after yelling at me and walked away. Plus she conveniently took my receipt which I stupidly handed off to them so now I'm screwed out of my clothes and got yelled like I had never been yelled at before by a business owner. Jerry's cleaners was a good place to go. Took my Pittsburgh Pirates fitted baseball cap to get clean. The totally messed up the beal. Half the beal bent up and the other half bent down. The head lady then gone try to argue that nothing was wrong with the fat. No, longer will a make my weekly drop offs and pick ups. What's the point of having a business and you don't take it seriously. Money changes hands all the time but, I want be changing my money with her hands.
