This car lot does not even deserve 1 star! Owner and salespeople are rude and do not know how to…read moredeal with customers. They listed a car for $20,691 in one ad and $19,995 in another, but in order to receive the advertised price, you must agree to pay $1,600 of completely bogus fees. They tried to charge me $700 delivery charge, when the car I was interested was actually the owner's vehicle. The other $900 fee is to detail the car and prepare it for sale... which anyone selling a car has to do to prepare it for sale condition anyway. Even when I agree to pay their bogus fees, they then said the only way one can receive the advertised price is to finance through them at a minimum of 12% APR, for which one does not qualify unless they have a 760 credit score!!! lol With any score under 760, according to the owner, the rate can be 15% or higher!!! After checking my credit, they told me I have 660 credit score, which I know for a fact is above 700... when asked to fax me a copy of my credit report that I authorized them to check, the owner replied to not tell him how to run his business and that the only way I can get a copy is to drive to their dealership (which is over 1 hour from me)... apparently they have not graduated to the fax/electronic age! Anyone seriously thinking of buying a car from them, think twice, three times, and four times.... they will rip you off on every step with shady math, hidden fees, and dishonest advertising. In addition, owner and salesperson were rude and act like they are doing you a favor by even talking to you. I would avoid this dealership by a 3 block radius!

After I made a $1,000 downpayment, they approved me for a 2005 dodge magnum, then AutoWorld called…read moreme a week later to tell me I wasn't approved, and said that I could have a KIA. If I am not approved for 1 car why can they put me in another car? I thought the approval is based on your credit and not on the type of car you want. I returned the car on 8/7/2009, expecting a refund on that same day, but AutoWorld told me to come on 8/14/2009 to pick up an issued refund check and when I went on the 14th, they told me it has been mailed out already. Today is September 14th, 2009 and I haven't received anything in the mail yet. Do not do business with DANIELLE, she's a salesgirl and she LIES about EVERYTHING!

don't know about some of the other viewer experiences , especially…read more those from SFO, I never had a service problem, always honored coupons, work done on time. My only "beef" is parts are sold at MSRP prices, plus then a credit card surcharge added on, much cheaper on internet or other dealers, did not used to be that way, otherwise I'd add another star. Also my extended Subaru of America warrantee price kept changing, it was cheaper to buy , at initial purchase time. When I came back to buy later, I got the buy now run around, fortunately I knew the fair market price offered elsewhere ( $500 difference),the salesman finally matched it, don't understand why give a loyal customer the high ball, to see what you can get away with.

I agree with Nicole Rs post, their sales team is great, service is another story (see below). I too…read morewas a former Empire customer. Go see Vinny for your next car, he's the best!!! Their service department is AWFUL! If you purchased any kind of warranty for your car via Subaru of America, they will find any way NOT to work on your car because they won't be making money off of you. They will tell you that appointments are full, that it will be at least two weeks if you want to drop off and six if you'd like to wait. What?!! The latest rendition stems from a tire issue, regarding a slow leak. Called in and got a response closest to "ghostbustas, whaddya want?" They wanted me to do the following: -call Roadside assistance - have them put on a spare - drop tire off at dealership (myself, as in haul it in and out of the car and then just leave it there) -wait until they inspect it (which can be however long and you're stuck with a spare, no time frame provided even after asking, the question went ignored) - when it's "ready" you then come and "pick it up" - wait there to put it back on Now if I have to wait there for it to be put on, and there isn't a scheduled appointment, it's at their discretion as to when it's ready, I should hop to it and be ready when they are? To check a tire?! Absolutely atrocious attitudes. I was told "people do this all the time" OK- let's see then! I have never heard of this practice ever, so I had to investigate a little, because maybe it's just me. I asked other Subaru drivers if this is something that happens with their dealerships. I was met with a resounding no. So if you're asked to "call roadside and drop off your tire", don't do it You'll be waiting a week at least!! I don't like being this person, but I hope it helps others. I also asked Subaru of America if this is a standard practice(just in case it is normal and it's my misunderstanding) And they are absolutely NOT supposed to be doing this, as it's a liability. Find another dealership if you have the Tire Package, I went to South Shore instead- met with same day service, which I had no expectation of. Also the first thing they asked me at South Shore when they answered was if I was OK and if I needed immediate help on the road. That's the way to do it. Not "call roadside idgaf bye." I don't mind waiting if I am being accommodated whatsoever- I was looking for a little compassion, and helpful service, and was instead met with warranty= not worth my time. Skip it, and save yourself the aggravation, try South Shore if you're a customer here. Significantly better experience.
