First up to get the best pricing at Jerry's you really need to be a paying member. It's like $20 or less for a year. You'll probably save that on the first or second purchase. For the record this location just relocated literally before the pandemic but it's looks like they have really settled into the place. The store protocols are to have 20 people or less in the store with masks on. The hours are a little cut back. I suggest calling if you are coming from afar, before you deal with Coral Gables traffic. Everything is clean and easy to see. Usually the pricing is clearly there for regular and member pricing. They have everything you need. A quick overview: aryclics, watercolor, inks, pens, pre made canvas, canvas by the roll, frames, matting, print making, landscaping for models and a custom framing in the back. I go to a variety of stores and like the selection they have here. The pricing is good, the new layout is nice and clean. Only thing I can say is I wish there were more locations! read more

Jerry's Artarama was a great find although not for myself. If you're an art degree major or know someone who is, this is definitely the place for you. It reminds of the former Utrecht and Pearls that were located in South Miami on US1. Unfortunately, those both went out of business. Jerry's Artarama is basically the same setup, but with a different name and different look. My only complaint is the name "Jerry's Artarama." Can we change this :P Overall, the prices here seem to be very low and reasonable. They offer so many art-related materials (more than shown in my pics) and you'll surely find everything you need especially if you're an artist. In that sense, it's not really the same as a typical Michael's store. I enjoy visiting these unique art supply stores. Even I'd come back. read more

I had two photos framed. One was a Georgia O'Keefe print, the other a 70-year-old professional photo of my aunt, which had a tear in the corner. The gentleman who helped me was very patient and helpful. He made several recommendations. The final product was wonderful. The old photograph came out perfect. I then took my daughter's law school diploma and had it framed for which they also did an outstanding job. At first I thought the cost was high, but they had a special and I got the membership (well worth it) and the price was quite reasonable. I would highly recommend their store. read more

This place used to be awesome. Great prices and helpful staff. Now you have to pay a 20 membership in order to pay the discounted prices otherwise they charge you these ridiculous prices which they have jacked up I will not not returning to Jerry's again. Today's visit ruined the joy of shopping here. The cashier was upset because myself and another customer were not aware of the NEW fees to shop. This is another reason to shop online. I thought it was going to be smaller but the place is actually huge and with literally anything you need at the turn of an aisle makes it easier to buy everything in one shot. Staff is very nice and they'll always greet you as you enter. If you need help, it's a call away. Feel free to walk the store and explore; you'll realize how much fun stuff you can pick up. Painting is my full time job and this is the only place I go for canvas and brushes. I'm still finding a paint that I like but the guy there was extremely helpful with recommending a soft body acrylic. It's extremely affordable, good quality. They have amazing variety and it doesn't matter if you're working professionally or just for fun the extremely affordable prices with and without membership make it worth the 30-40 minute drive for me. I used to frequent the old location that was near harbor freight years ago until we moved to broward. We moved back to Miami a few months ago and wanted to check out the new location. Love how close they are to me now! The selection is even better than before, the prices are amazing (yes I paid the member fee to get the discount pricing) and it's so tidy & clean. I was a fan of this place. It always had great prices. A recent trip changed all that. They have recently initiated a club pricing model where you have to pay $20 to get good prices. If you don't have a membership, you're out of luck! Unfortunately, the sale tags on the items are not sales, they are the club price! I didn't know this and when I went to pay, the total was double what I expected. I will not return and buy my art supplies somewhere else on principle. If you want to offer good prices, don't play games! I purchased a Creative Mark Danube Quill Brush (3 piece set Sale $69.99) from Jerry's Online. The twisted metal that holds the ferrule on kept popping up and catching on everything. Even with pliers, the metal wouldn't stay down! It's very sharp and catches the skin! Jerry's wouldn't offer me any refund or any compensation (purchased 10 months ago) but told me to "order myself another one". Why would I do that? I've spent hundreds each year for supplies with them yet nothing done to keep me a happy customer. I don't recommend Danube or Jerry's. read more

This place is HUGE!!! How huge is it? They offer painting classes too. Seriously, they have any type of art supply you may need. Aisles and aisles of art supplies. At supply heaven. I was looking for a table top easel and I had 7 different styles and bands to choose from, which makes for a very happy customer. As soon as I walked in, one of the staff members, Frank, greeted me and was extremely courteous and helpful with recommendations. He left me in the wall aisle to help other customers and came back about 20 minutes later to see if I had any questions or needed help. A++ for customer service. The prices are competitive and there were several sales going on for frames and other supplies. This store is at the corner inside of a strip mall with plenty of free surface parking. read more

Customer service over the phone is atrocious. I called today to inquire if they carried 1/16th" of plexiglass and the woman on the phone had no idea what the measurement meant; she seemed not to want to bother to find out . I asked her to please check because it would be a long drive for me. There was total silence on the phone. I finally said 'hello?' and she responded 'I'm looking.' I could hear her joking with someone in the background. She finally said 'you would need to come and look,.' I then asked until what time the store was open until and she continued her joking and hung up without answering me. She needs proper training in helping customers. read more

Terrible customer service, the staff was more interested on talking to each other than helping the clients out (especially the females). Most of the staff are also not knowledgeable, when asked questions about paints (brand, quality, etc.), they were clueless and seemed bothered that you asked. I wanted to buy $150 worth of oil paints & they said they couldn't honor their own discount from their own website! I ended up just going to their online store and getting all my materials there (WITH the discount and WITHOUT the attitude). I no longer waste my gas or energy to go to this place. I do use their online store. They have a great location, lots of supplies and affordable materials, but terrible customer service. I've been going to Jerry's for years. Low prices on canvases and brushes, which are the most important to me. The manager was always pleasant whenever he happened to be up front when I walked in- I'm positive he's also personally helped me before. A little over a year ago, I applied for a position at Jerry's. I was not offered the position- all good, no big deal. I have continued being a customer of Jerry's nonetheless. But ever since then, the manager doesn't even greet me when I have come in. He looks dead at me and does not reciprocate the hello given to him. I just went in and was received with the same lack of basic customer service. And it's not like he didn't see me. He looked right at me, as I said hello, and met with silence. Customer service makes or breaks my decision to be a patron. I would much rather pay more somewhere else than to save money at the art store "with the best prices in Miami" if the customer service is subpar. If you read this sir, I hope you take sometime and go back to the basics and refresh what it takes to offer the best customer service. I've been coming to this place for about 5 years now. It's extremely convenient, because I live very close to the store. It's a huge store! You can seriously walk around for an hour or two, just looking at everything they have. The service is awesome too. They helped me pick out supplies on more than one occasion. This place came in clutch several times when I needed supplies for my art classes in high school. I especially bought a lot of sketchbooks here and prismacolor markers. I would give it 5 stars, but I've realized how pricey it can be and plus, it doesn't have as many deals on supplies I use, compared to the paints and canvas. At Blick, they have bulk deals on pens and markers, but I would rather come here if I could get better deals. Jerry used to be my favorite store. I went there shopping with friends last week. The cashier overcharged all of us. My friends had corrected the price because they knew the price of each item. Since our local Pearl art closed I stared going to Micheal's, which is adequate but really more for "crafters" . Then I found Jerrys, huge wharehouse type place with great variety of paints, canvas's, etc. everything a serious artist could want without the silk flower, wicker baskets, scrapebooking stuff.
