    Curry Goat

For the price of $55.60 I would say that I should get more than 3 oxtails with that plate. The Curry Goat plate was plentiful though. The size of the oxtails I got one good sized one and two pretty small ones and some loose bones. There was a lot more gravy that gave me the impression that I had more meat. The service was very nice and the owner went out of the way to make everyone feel welcomed. I would give another chance possibly to get the oxtails again if I could get more than 3 to my plate the next time because they are really delicious. I only rated a three because I felt one plate was good and the other was skimpy.

$24 for curry goat with rice and peas

$24 for a small portion of curry goat with rice and peas which was mostly bones and fat. Not much flavor. Total waste of money. Will NOT ever go back! Will stick with the Jerk Hut!

This is our go-to spot when we're craving oxtails and beef patties. The oxtails fall off the bone and have great flavor. My mother-in-law is from Jamaica and she said the oxtails taste just like her mom used to make. We recently tried their Rasta pasta and also fell in love. It has a little spice but we loved it! Dexter, the owner, is super nice and is always working hard around the clock. All the staff is super friendly everytime we stop in. This is a to-go place and parking is tight but they are always quick to get your food ready. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I were in the area over the weekend and we stopped by Jerrrk Time for lunch. The guys working there were super generous, shout out to Dexter who had great customer service. The food was super delicious. We ordered the jerk chicken, curry chicken and beef patties. Let me tell you, the chicken was super flavorful, seasoned to perfection and was falling off of the bone. The Mac and cheese was just as delicious. The candied yams were great as well but they do contain pineapple chunks for anyone that's allergic. One of the best Jamaican spots in the area! I will definitely be going back very soon.

I'm sorry, but the food was too salty. Flavor was decent, but this place is giving people high blood pressure. Smh. They should be ashamed.

I had 3 people in front of me in line and it didn't take long at all for me to reach the register and place my order. I wasn't that hungry but wanted to try the food out, so I got a Truth flounder taco for $4.95. The food was made quickly and tasted good! Bro's Fish Tacos has about six signature sauces which looked good, but unfortunately, they all have dairy in them, so I asked for the mayo based tartar sauce instead. While all the signature sauces have dairy in them, I appreciated that they stated that fact on their menu beside where their sauces were listed. I wish I had come about an hour later in the day because, after ordering, I learned that they have a happy hour from 3 to 5:30 each day where The Truth Taco is $3.50 and other dishes are cheaper as well. Some street fries were ordered for the table, and I had fished out about 5 fries without the sauce (because I figured there was a dairy sauce and cheese on top) and the fries were really tasty as well! The atmosphere inside is very fun and bright with huge glass garage door windows letting light in and colorful paintings of animals on the walls. If you have sensitivity to noise, know that they keep the music volume pretty low, but since the restaurant is right on the boulevard and has large glass windows, you're likely going to hear some noisy cars drive by. Overall, I had a good experience and would come here again, especially on a Tuesday, Sunday or after 3pm since that's when they have the best deals (which I appreciate)!

The cashier even brought my order to my car because I wasn't aware it was finished!! That was super nice. I got the fried fish bowl. I added cabbage, beans, sauce, and sour cream. The bowl was pretty good, it was just more toppings than meat. I guess next time I'll pay for extra meat. Other than that I enjoyed the food. The fries were good also. They're like battered fries and pretty tasty. They were hot and fresh!! They have fried fish, beef, tuna, shrimp, and other taco bowls. Or you can get it as a taco. Also fries, churro donuts, and more. Check them out!!

I stopped by during their pop up at Farmhouse Brewery and, once again, they did not disappoint. One thing you need to know: their burritos are massive. We're talking "the size of your head" big, so come hungry or be ready for some epic leftovers. The menu is small and focused (usually around four burrito choices), but every single one is packed with quality ingredients and flavor. The Coop spends most days serving on base, but keep an eye out for their local pop-ups. They're always worth chasing down. This time around, I ordered the Pepper Jack Chicken Burrito which was grilled chicken breast, maple bacon, melty pepper jack cheese, and their signature Coop Sauce, all bundled up in a warm tortilla. Every bite was the perfect balance of hearty, savory, spicy, and just a hint sweet from the bacon. Their Coop sauce is one of a kind. Tangy, and delicious. I'm sure adding an egg would take it to the next level (that's an option on all burritos). My friends had the Breakfast Burrito! This one comes with fluffy scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar cheese, juicy sausage, more of that craveable maple bacon, herby potatoes, and (of course) the signature Coop Sauce. They raved about every bite. I appreciate that The Coop keeps things simple with their streamlined menu and focus on top-notch burritos. Whenever I see them around town, I make it a point to stop ... even if there's a line, it moves fast and is absolutely worth the wait. Whether you're looking for a new lunch favorite or just crave seriously great street food, The Coop is a true gem on the Virginia Beach food truck scene. Can't wait to catch them at their next pop-up!

When I opened it I thought they gave it to me by mistake because it looked like someone already ate it (no I haven't touched it yet in this picture!). We went back to the food truck to ask if this was a mistake and they said no. The dish was supposed to come with an egg too but they ran out and still charged full price. The food was cold and overall just ok. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. The rest of their food items on the menu sounded good, but if they are anything like the portion we got in this picture, I'm not sure I'd want to spend my money to try the others. The flavor was ok but would have been more enjoyable if they warmed the food and gave us a little bit more. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the food truck but it's green with king Neptune on it. Cute, but I hoped a bit more from this place.

Then, the waiting... and waiting... and waiting... 45 minutes later (and we were 3rd in line to order), we finally got our food (they definitely need to prep ahead of time for the anticipated lines). It was NOT worth the wait and we were really disappointed. For $10 each, we got a ton of plain basmati rice, some black beans, the most tasteless, dry chicken, a little shredded lettuce and a couple of grape tomatoes.
