Upon walking into Blue Lotus Massage building, you are taken to a relaxing and tranquil space. A cozy waiting area has water, tea, coffee and some inspiration from Buddha as well as magazines. Even the bathroom has a "chill vibe" with stones in the sink, towels versus paper for eco friendliness and nice soap/lotions (I am a sucker for a good lotion). My favorite was the muscle wall - when I go for massages, I find it helpful to be as specific as possible, and knowing the muscle group that needs targeting is awesome - hence why I was able to identify that my soleus was knotted up, not "the space below my calves" thanks to the wall.
ANYWAY - on to the services - Jeremy Zwirecki is HANDS DOWN the best massage therapist I have EVER had (I've been getting massages for close to a decade now...) Not only does he CARE deeply about his patients and their concerns, which is conveyed through his work, he is highly talented and able to work on/relieve multiple spots of tension and pain in a single session. In addition to his talents, he also will go above and beyond for a client - I am a runner, so before our session he even looked up best techniques for runners! Now, his office has something called Vibration Tool Technology - the VT, which essentially is a tool that helps break up/loosen adhesions to prep your muscle tissues better for the massage so he can get in deeper with manual labor. I went in on Monday, hurting from my 12 mile run, and left there feeling AMAZING and woke up pain free the next morning!
