Both of my children had a hard time when we first started going to Dr. Jensen. They'd had unpleasant experiences with another dentist and were pretty frightened. Dr. Jensen, Gabby, and the entire staff have helped make them feel comfortable, allowing them to take their time and come in between regular cleanings for "happy visits." They allow extra time so my autistic daughter can request breaks when she feels overwhelmed or anxious, something she rarely needs to do anymore since they have worked with her so diligently! The entire office is kid-friendly with games, movies, art supplies, and books to help kids wait patiently and relax before and after their appointment. My girls LOVE coming to Dr. Jensen and I cannot imagine taking them anywhere else! read more

There's a movie theater here that played Frozen for my kid while the medicine kicked in. Dr. Jensen and her staff got my daughter through two crowns in one sitting - no tears, no fear. I could go through all the little details, but they're irrelevant when a 4 1/2 year old comes through a dental experience all smiles, the work is flawless, and we were all well taken care of with a doctor and staff who were helpful and accommodating, I could ask for nothing more. My two-year-old daughter and I just wrapped up our second routine checkup with Dr. Jensen, and I can officially say that this is a great practice. Leading up to the appointment, my daughter was excited to go to the dentist due to the positive experience she had at her first visit. No dental phobia here! We just had the most wonderful experience....and it was at a dentist's office! This was my first time to take my 3 year old to the dentist. As soon as we entered, we were wowed at how kid-friendly the office was. The waiting room had an actual theater for your choice of kids' movie to watch! We didn't spend much time in there because we were seen immediately. The staff was awesome and Dr. Jensen was the most caring, attentive medical professional I have ever met. She was born for this job as a pediatric dentist. She connected with my daughter who loved every moment of the visit...and the "swag bag" of dental goodies was a giant perk of course!. I am so happy that my daughter's first experience at the dentist was so positive....hopefully, it will set the precedent for a lifetime of properly taking care of her teeth. Dr. Jensen is awesome. The entire staff and experience is great. This is a great location and new office. Movie room for kids to sit and wait. We have a 6 year old daughter that needed a tooth pulled that would not come out. Dr. Jensen was patient and wonderful though the shots and procedure. I am so impressed by Dr Jensen and her staff. My kids have been in for extractions and fillings and have left smiling every time. I am floored by Dr Jensen's bedside matter and the lengths she takes to make sure the kids feel at ease at the dentist. My son cracked a tooth late in the evening and Dr Jensen met us at the office for an emergency extraction. She didn't rush, despite this being during her time off, and made sure my kiddo was calm and adequately numbed up before pulling the tooth. She absolutely turned something that could've been traumatic and painful into a great experience for him. She gives tips to parents on what to say to the kids so they don't feel scared and even has checked in with us after procedures. I cannot say enough good things about this practice! read more

Wow! If you're searching for the best, you've found it. The office is every kiddo's dream, the staff is so welcoming and friendly, and Dr. Jensen is simply amazing. Our son was referred by another pediatric dentist because he required extensive work (extractions and fillings). Dr. Jensen offers an in-office oral sedative that did the trick without tears or anxiety. I opted out of being in the operatory in favor of staying in the movie theater waiting room, but her assistants kept me informed every step of the way with progress reports and even took pictures to show me what was going on. I can't say enough about how impressive Jensen Pediatric Dentistry is. OK I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 1,000,000 STARS. I have to share about our AMAZING pediatric dentist Dr. Jensen. You walk in and the staff greet you with a smile and offer you coffee (custom made by them with all the fixes), or water. Depending on the age of your child (mine has been going there since she was 6 months), they have a baby waiting room (all clean toys, easels, etc), a movie room (comfortable chairs and a massive projector screen - you pick the movie!), and did I say INCREDIBLY SWEET staff?! First you meet with a dental consultant who gives your toddler a balloon with a custom rubber ducky (ours had braces), then you go into the private room with a TV on the ceiling, and they are SOOO gentle with your child. Then Dr. Jensen comes in to check their teeth out, talks sweetly to your baby, and gives you an overview. Shes SO patient...I asked maybe 5,000 questions and she answered ALL of them. No rush whatsoever. They never overbook and have 8am appts so I can get to daycare then work ON TIME! You end with them giving your child a bag full of goodies, tons of stickers to choose from, and a token for them to get a toy of their choice. They take most insurances (even our military insurance!) This staff is so friendly and made my two year old enjoy a dentist visit! The office is perfectly set up for toddlers with a mini movie theater and games. They made my little one fee very comfortable before working on her teeth. Lisa the hygienist is amazing and Dr Jensen was very thorough at explaining everything to me. Such an amazing experience from our initial phone call to the actual visit. All the staff were so friendly and helpful! I took my daughter to Dr. Jensen a couple of months ago for her visit dentist visit. They were able to get us an appointment in the same week and were helpful on the phone. The office was modern and fun for kids- from the play waiting room to the movie theater! The dental assistant and Dr. Jensen were gentle and friendly and even though my daughter cried a bit she said that she wanted to return the next day! I love Dr. Jensen. She is exactly what you want for a pediatric dentist. I was there with my 1year old who screamed as she was having her teeth cleaned. Dr. Jensen sang very sweetly to calm her down and afterwards, played with her as she gave me the results of the examination. When I was there a few months before with my 3 year old, I told her my father in law is also a pediatric dentist. When she found an issue with my 3 year old, Dr. Jensen took an x-ray but also encouraged me to send it also to him for a second opinion. Dr. Jensen's office staff are professional and sweet. The office itself is clean and modern. I wish she could be our pediatrician who has the worst bedside manner - she could take a lesson from Dr. Jensen who seems to really love her job and the children she sees. OMG Dr Jensen is awesome. Being new to Austin I called around to dentists in a panic as I noticed my daughters tooth was becoming discolored from a fall a few days before. Dr Jensen called me back personally and met me and my daughter at the office on her day off within 45min! Seriously...awesome! With such amazing concern and compassion I decided to schedule all 3 kids (7,3,1yr) annual cleaning with her. She worked with each of my kids personalities with amazing compassion, provided a thorough cleaning and great educational opportunity about good dental health at age appropriate levels. My 3 year old and 1yr old are both "high anxiety" personalities and Dr Jensen worked wonderfully with them. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

My kids love the movie theater and the flat screen TVs on top of the ceiling that they can watch while they are laying down on the dental chairs. After read several Yelp reviews I choose to visit Dr. Jensen's office even though it seems far away from where we live. Dr. Jensen is very nice and patient to both my son and me. Dr. Jensen confirmed the treatment plan suggested by the other dentist, which solve the main question of our visit. Dr. Jensen explained in a way I can understand why the treatment is necessary, what will happen after the treatment, what's the alternative plan, how much we would need to pay under different options. Also, she pointed out all the work needed for my son's other teeth. This visit is very informative and helpful. We have three children with three very different personalities (including anxious) and she is fabulous with all of them. Dr. Jensen is a great, kind dentist. The kids have fun going to the dentist (I know, isn't that strange :)) The best thing about Dr. Jensen is not just that her office is fun for kids, and that she is very patient, but she will never recommend a procedure that is not necessary for your child. Amazing experience with Dr. Jensen. My 7-year-old daughter needed a crown and a filling. We did not want to use deep sedation for the procedure, and after consulting other dentists that did not support using laughing gas only, a friend recommended Dr. Jensen to us because of her conservative approach to cavities and sedation. My daughter was extremely nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Jensen worked meticulously to keep her calm and find a crown small enough for her tiny mouth. She even texted us to follow up on how my daughter was doing and responded via texts when we had questions afterward. Highly recommend! read more
