Thing is, I only just got out of the hospital myself yesterday and needed same-day delivery. The website said that tomorrow was the soonest available, so I waited until 9:03am to call. I was greeted over the phone by Diana, who provided such incredible service that at the end of our call I asked if she was the owner because of how well she represented the business. Anyone that knows me knows that I go to the beat of my own drum and have pretty stringent requirements when I have a vision. Well, my grandmother and I are each other's favorite people and I had a particular vision. I told Diana that some cute Baylor girl with perfect handwriting and adorable/clean drawing was to draw a cardinal on the front of the card and that I'd pay for time/tip/research/whatever. I'll not share my whole vision here, of course, but today's $135 arrangement took 24 minutes to describe, refine and confirm from start to finish and that's 100% on me. I haven't seen the arrangement even, but you'll notice from my reviews that once I've found my 5-star spot after shopping around that's where I like to anchor my business. Diana described herself as "just a part-time helper." From my perspective, you're an integral and empathetic hero who helped me communicate with $135 what will be received as $135,000 worth of love on a day when it was needed most. Thank you most sincerely. Side note: my grandmother only uses the best of the best (as do I). Twenty years ago when I heavily depended on her to tell me when to jump and how high, she used to say "Just order ___ some flowers from Baylor Flowers." Sic 'em! Edit: my grandmother was so appreciative and thought the world of the cardinal.

People order like this because it's convenient, this is my last time for "convenience" and I'm still unsure about the $11.00 card? When I asked for them to put a couple butterflies in the arrangements I had no idea how they would take that request and run with it. They didn't just stick a couple butterflies randomly in the arrangements, but rather incorporated them into the arrangements. Everything we asked was done above and beyond expectations. When family out of state ordered a standing spray for the funeral, Woods even included butterflies in that arrangement! As previously mentioned - above and beyond! I wish I could've brought them home with me, but don't think they'd fit in my suitcase :). Arrangements are Beautiful and Frank is a Hoot! :)…read more This is the second time I have ordered with Woods Flowers. Both times I have called and Frank has taken my order. It really is worth it just to call and talk with Frank :) He is fun and has a good-nature; made me laugh :) I highly recommend calling any florist to be sure they can deliver to your address and see what flowers they have in stock versus ordering online. I often receive a much better arrangement and service this way. Frank looked up the arrangement, "English Garden," I saw on their website, and checked to see if they had the flowers in stock. He said this arrangement's stock flowers had arrived that morning on the truck. Yay! I was pleased, as the flowers would be quite fresh. He helped me with the card, and set up the delivery. When I asked to upgrade to the next tier, he was happy to oblige. He commented that the wooden box would be quite pretty with this arrangement, and that it adds a more modern look. The arrangement arrived on schedule, and the recipient was very surprised and pleased. It lifted her spirits :) They added some lovely roses, hydrangeas, and orchids, with a great deal of flowers tucked all in it. The succulents look super and that was why I choose this arrangement, as the recipient loves them. They even added a red cardinal (without me asking :) and that was a perfect touch as our family loves the cardinal birds.
