My dog gets sick easily when stressed or when she doesn't eat regularly. When my dog wouldn't eat, Scarlett hand fed her roasted chicken. It is on a beautiful farm with (I think) only 16 total kennels and the owner lives there. Your dog gets very personalized care. The cost is very reasonable with everything included. Other kennels have an extra charge for every little thing. The Dog House allows you to bring your own bedding and toys which was very important for my dog. We love The Dog House and highly recommend it!

I was late, i haven't gotten a cell number so I couldn't notify her. My dog is a high energy dog, that is why i chose a farm. I left him there for 11 days. I haven't heard from her until the 5th day. She didnt respond on my voice mail or email. Then, I finally got a text (no pictures). When i came back, i was assured my dog adjusted well. I saw that his nose was all rubbed against the bedding in his crate. I have no idea how much exercise he got since i havent received any pictures or updates. The hair grew out between his paw pads, means he wasn't running much. The first day at home he had lots of energy. I was expecting him to be exhausted. Since, when i got there, there were only crated dogs, i have no idea about their daily schedule. My dog wasn't as Happy as usaly when he got home previously from other dog boarders. I am conserned since i have gotten no updates and i know she has a full time job beside boarding dogs. There were a tone of them, barking inside... positives: well orgenized, very clean, friendly.

Seeing the other reviewer having similar issues back in 2015, I decided to share as a caution. We left two young lab mixes happy and healthy, and at the end of the week, they came back dusty, sad, and dejected. No sign of walks and playtime we've signed up for. When we called while we were away, it was hard to reach them. When we came to pick them up, we waited for a long time because no one was at the front. Turned out, a young girl (college age maybe) was passed out sleeping on the tall back chair, didn't know ppl were there, turned around facing the counter got up and said, "sorry I need to check on the dog I left drying." After she was fully awake, she (and I) went to get the dogs. The kennels were dark, blowing all kinds of dog hair and dust, and dogs on bare floor, unsupervised. Dogs sleeping on cold bare floor also wasn't nice (no blanket policy). It was sad to see a place for beloved pet family run that way, especially after a nice tour we had before we decided on this place. Seems like it improved based on recent reviews. Hope it continues that trajectory.

I have two little dogs who are seniors, and I am always comfortable leaving them with the staff at this kennel. I picked the dogs up after a 9 day stay and was taken through the kennels to an attached outdoor yard to bring in one of my dogs. This was impromptu, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of all the areas, as well as my dogs having time to run around while their kennel was being cleaned. I highly recommend this kennel to all dog owners.

I LOVE that it's all women, it makes me feel 100000x more comfortable. They always go above and beyond. At least once or twice my girl has had accidents in the house (those puppy days) and they've cleaned it up! They keep a notebook at your house and you get a note each time - which is really nice to come home knowing she took care of all her business, or even if they noticed something concerning. I've even had one of the owners/managers text me immediately when they've noticed something REALLY concerning. I have a Furbo camera so I sometimes end up seeing them bringing her back into her bedroom, and it's clear they love her just as much as I do, and it's clear Annie loves them. I have sacrificed other things in my budget in order to have them come 4 times a week, and it is completely worth it for the peace of mind I get during the weekday. ADW was recommended to me, and I am SO glad. I don't think I could recommend them enough.

They all informed me that they love this place and so do their dogs. One lady I spoke to said her dog had been going there for 4 years. I dipped my pup off on a Saturday for a doggy day camp to see how he did and he seemed to love it. I dropped him off at 7am and picked him up at 6pm. It was his first time at a boarding location. I did tour with the owner who was at the time pregnant and it was clean. You could smell the chemicals lightly that made it known they do clean up often and sterilize. It wasn't an overwhelming smell but you could smell that it was cleaned. The dogs are boarded in nice sized crates based on the size of the dog. So larger breeds aren't in the same area as smaller breeds. The smaller and larger breeds are also not outside together in the same play area. I loved that. I was nervous my Australian Cobberdog who was only 28 pounds at the time would be outside playing with a larger dog but the owner and her team assured me that never happens. Needless to say, my dog had a great time. Every time we pass the lodge; my dog barks and watches out the window as we pass by. I would recommend this place.
