I was an established client with my cat here. I was always happy with their grooming of my cat. I would have nail trims and sanitary trims a couple of times a year. all of a sudden when I went to make an appointment, they insisted on scheduling the works starting with a bath. I explained that we are on a fixed income, and I can't afford all of that on a regular basis. so, they basically told me if I don't get the full service on a regular basis they can't schedule my cat anymore. I find this unacceptable. As a general rule, cats don't need baths unless they soil themselves or get into something messy. I have had her belly and underside shaved if she had some mats, that was fine. I am very disappointed with PP and their treatment to a customer who had been coming to them. Passionate is one of the few grooming services I can find for cats in the area. I believe Jessica is one of the owners and I spoke with her to book my appt. for my two fur babies. Jessica was really friendly and genuinely cares about our fur babies! As a new pet owner myself, there's still plenty to learn and I can learn several things from Jessica. The grooming took 2 hours so my cats won't be stressed and afraid. She allows them to take breaks and actually take time to know them and calms them. I would definitely be the frequent customer and recommend them to all pet owners especially cat parents since it's hard to find cat grooming service in the area. read more

I had high hopes for this place as it was a recommendation for my Maine Coon cat. Jessica and Chris (the owners) are nice to talk and engaging, so that I will give them credit! The first time I took my Maine Coon in for grooming, Jessica cut entirely too much hair off his fluffy tail, underside and coat in general. I let her know I wasn't pleased the next day in a text, she explained the need to do what she did, I was skeptical, but I gave her the benefit of doubt. I requested the next time I watch what hair is trimmed, and specifically stated what I DID NOT want touched and wanted to go back to see what was being trimmed prior to his wash; they allowed me back the second time, things went well, I was pleased. The third time 12/30/23, I requested the same, to go back to let them know what I wanted trimmed. Chris (her husband) said they would call me as they were doing another cat. All to say, they didn't contact me, totally butchered my Maine Coon, all the areas I said DO NOT trim they cut, but why? They don't listen, have no respect for their customer's requests, do what they want, and had the audacity to charge me $256, for dematting, and regular grooming service (for a cat!) what a ripoff! I can't speak for their dog grooming services, or other cat breeds, but they DO NOT know how to properly groom long-haired, or at least Maine Coon. I'm so lucky that I found these guys. I tried two other places in Crofton but I wasn't comfortable until I found these guys. Since they are former vet techs, they were able to inform me about skin and ear issues that I didn't know my dog had. Both of us are very grateful that they did. Their shop has an open concept so you can see what the groomers are doing each time you come in. My dogs love going there because they can interact with the other dogs in the room. Their fur-cuts come out wonderful every time. Jess, Christopher, and the rest of their staff are very professional, pleasant, and easy to work with. Book ahead!! This is a great place to get your pets groomed. They are very professional and care about the animals put in their care. I took my cat to get a lion clip because he needed a kind of reset to his hair and the owner did warn me of possible nicks due to the fact that cats have paper-thin skin. He also wanted to make sure that I really wanted to get the lion clip because it could actually damage the hair. I appreciated his concern very much because it showed he cared. When I picked up my cat he looked so good! My wife and I are very happy with how he looks and feels. And he doesn't mind the new cut either. One more thing: unlike other groomers, the people at this place actually try to save you money. I was told by the co-owner that my cat doesn't actually need the same cut again and again, and just a trim would do. That would be a savings of $85. I can't say enough positive about this groomer. First let me say I have a 16 year old cat. She has been getting groomed (shaved and bathed) at least once a year her entire life. She has always been really good with no problems until last year. I don't know if she had a bad experience at a new groomer is just getting older and her arthritis is hurting her. So when I brought her here and they told me she was upset and "not cooperating" I was heartbroken and felt defeated. I don't have her groomed to look pretty but for her comfort in the heat. They clearly saw the disappointment in my face and were not ready to give up on us. They gave me time to calm her down and comfort her. They worked with me and with my cat and were able to do the full grooming (shave, bath, etc). They took the extra time and were truly compassionate to her stress and age. Where most groomers would have said sorry there's the door they did just the opposite. I highly recommend this groomer and will continue to use them. read more

Such a great place to take my dog! The owners are so friendly and you can tell they genuinely love animals. They do not cage the animals and honestly that is what I love most. I'd never considered doing a lion cut before, but it's really ideal as he's getting older and has some health issues that make keeping him clean a challenge. Really appreciated that they showed me a test patch so I could see how his coat would look when trimmed. They were extremely gentle and kind to my cat. He looks adorable and loved all the attention. She started pulling her stomach mats out with her teeth, so I decided to take her to Paws and Claws. They spent hours with her and shaved her mats out.
